Our stay here was an okay one, and we gave this rating due to the following reasons: 1. Check-In process: On the night of our check in after a long day of travel, our check in process was not very pleasant. It sounded like there had been an incident prior to our arrival. Upon arrival, the door into the hotel was locked, and we stood outside for a bit before 2 police officers in green uniforms came to join us, they were also trying to get into the hotel, but the front desk staff kept us all waiting. Eventually, they opened the door into the hotel lobby to the police officers and to us, we were not greeted, we were ignored. The front desk staff was in the process of checking another couple in, when the officers walked in there was a hostile exchange between one of the officers and the front desk staff, one of the police officers asked the front desk staff what happened, he replied stating that some people came in and grabbed some items and ran out. The police officer then asked him (the front desk staff) what they looked like, he replied ignorantly, with hostility, and in a racist manner " A BUNCH OF BLACK PEOPLE" We were taken aback by this and offended by his statement and actions, as I am "Black". The police officer then replied to him (front desk staff), that his statement was uncalled for. And he replied, stating "Whatever"! I did not like this behavior at all and his racist statement, regardless of what transpired before we arrived. We almost cancelled our reservations and went to stay in another hotel. Unfortunately we were both exhausted and had to be up really early the next morning. After that whole drama, and after he was done checking in the couple in front of us, he still ignored us and was on the phone talking to someone about how the officers broke the door and therefore there was no security since the doors could no longer lock. After all of that we expected some sort of apology, but none was given whatsoever. He was still on the phone while asking for our information in order to check us in. We provided the information, and he proceeded to check us in and gave us our keys. We were not happy about the check in process at all. I guess this is how we get welcomed to Albuquerque and to Hilton Homewood suites for the first time. We absolutely will not be staying at this location if we returned to Albuquerque. And right now we are unsure if we would give Hilton Homewood suites another try. 2.Additionally, there was a hole behind the door in the bedroom. Although the front desk offered to come fix it, we did not want to be disturbed and asked them to do so after we checked out. This is something they should have noticed prior to check-in and fixed without us having to point it out. 3. The garbage disposal in the kitchen wasn't working. 4. The room next door had kids and they were really loud both at night and in the early morning. I did notify the front desk about this. Suggestions: Do take the time to thoroughly inspect the hotel rooms to be sure everything is working as it should be and there are no maintenance repairs to be done prior to checking in. This hotel was booked by a company, otherwise we would've checked out the next day and asked for a refund. Do educate your front desk staff on how to provide excellent customer service, on the appropriate way to treat guests regardless of their race. Lastly, do educate your front desk staff on professionalism and on how to keep their personal biases to themselves!!!

I don't always write reviews, but I try to for things are are terrible or things that are really great., and this is a terrible one. We are a Hilton Diamond Member, made a reservation that we are paying for with points, needed a bigger room for the kids so we got the 2-bedroom suite, got the email confirmation once it was all taken care of, called the hotel again before we left for vacation to confirm our date of stay, number of nights, and room type and the front desk person confirmed all of that, then the day before we checked in, I went into the Hilton app to check in and noticed the room type was switched to a lower room. I called the hotel and spoke to the front desk person and she said she would put me on hold and look at what happened to see if she could get it fixed, and then she came back and said she was going to transfer me to the General Manager. I talked to the General Manager and the GM told me that she has a guest in "one" of the 2-bedroom suites that has been there for like a month, and I asked her if that was the one I was going to be in and she told me no. I asked her then what happened to the one I was going to be in and long story short, she gave away my room to a guest that was willing to pay a higher rate than what mine was booked for on points. I explained everything to her and she she still decided that she could get more money form another guest that would pay a higher rate, so i cancelled the entire reservation, stayed at another hotel, and Hilton compensated me for this unethical shady behavior. She was surprised I even knew about it, almost like she expected that I would not find out until check-in and then I would be stuck. Glad i went to check in the day before on the app, otherwise I wouldn't not have found that out. The GM quietly changed my assigned room type the day before my arrival, didn't call me to tell me, and was going to wait until i checked in and it would have been too late then. Very unethical and terrible customer service. Stay somewhere else.

The Homewood suites is a great place to stay! The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly - I was able to get some extra toothpaste because I forgot mine. And the breakfast is great. One morning they had breakfast tamales! They definitely pay attention to all the extra little things that make a stay extra nice.

CAR BREAK IN!! The hotel was nice. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was delicious! Just BEWARE of the parking lot. Our vehicle was parked near our room, under a light, valuables were in our room and car was locked. Late that night, security came to our door saying our car had been broken in to, a couple of hours prior. This happened to a few other cars as well. A bummer thing to happen during what was a nice stay at a nice hotel.

I gave a rating of a 4 because the chairs for the dining table need to be cleaned. At one point they may have been green, now they look brown. The beds were very comfortable and our room was clean with the exception of the living and dining furniture. We stayed for 4 days and the trash cans were very small. House keeping was only available upon request and we had to call a day ahead if we wanted our room cleaned. Complimentary breakfast was excellent.

We booked this hotel for 1 night stay as part of our road-trip stay. We were able to check in at 1 am without a hassle the guest service agent was very friendly and helpful. The room we booked was ready very clean and spacious. The bed was very comfy and pillows extra fluffy I had a hard time wanting to check out that morning that is how comfortable I was. My husband was able to bring me breakfast and it was very filling they offered tamales, bacon and potatoes along with other options. We enjoyed our stay here and will definitely visit in the near future when visiting New Mexico.

Excellent customer service. The lady at the front desk in the evening was very accommodating. I needed a pack and play and she had it sent to our room before we even had time to walk upstairs. The 2 king suite was a nice upgrade. Breakfast was good and the room was very clean and nicely updated. Would definitely stay again.

Overall this was a great stay. Fridge was great. I love that there was a hot cook top. There is an area to take your dog out next to the pool area. Customer service at front desk was great when I checked in. The front desk rep showed me a map of the hotel and directed me to parking options and where my room was located. Free water offered at front desk also. Plenty of parking. My only complaint is there were a couple stains on the carpet in the living room area and in the bedroom.

We rented a 2 bedroom suite for my son's wedding in Albuquerque. Check on and out was very smooth. Hotel staff was very friendly. Our air conditioner went out twice and it was fixed and replaced very quickly. Breakfast is pretty good, lots of different choices. Location is great, you can walk to trader Joe's, Target, and lots of restaurants. I world recommend this hotel.

We got married last weekend and we used them for our wedding block, as well as stayed there for two nights (the night before our wedding and the day of our wedding). Everything was clean and spacious, and it had ample space. We had some of our out of town wedding guests stay there, and everyone enjoyed their stay. The breakfast was really good for a complimentary breakfast. The staff were friendly and easy to work with!

Customer service is king Homewood suites has it. From the moment I checked in I was greeted with a smile and it was clear management has worked really hard and making sure customer service was very important and the guest is their true value. I would stay in this hotel again without question. thank you for an excellent experience and great job Management. I would recommend other Hiltons take note.

Very unhelpful trying to book a group of rooms for high school team. Front desk did not seem to understand needs. Said there were rooms but then had to check with someone else and came back and said they did not have rooms. Do not recommend this location. Other Homeward Suites were have stayed at were very accommodating. As Hilton member I am very disappointed. Not up to the Hilton standard I am used to receiving.

The room was fine, a little old and not the cleanest. I found a lot of hairs in the bathroom. The hotel is a little dated but the staff is super friendly. It was an easy stop off the highway so if you are looking for a place to stay the night while on the road, this hotel works! I had a pet and the pet area is really why I picked this hotel. There's a large grass area right next to the hotel which makes it easy if you are traveling with a pet.

Everyone has gone above and beyond to make my stay special. The office chair was a wonderful surprise. Beautiful breakfast service and a heated swimming pool. I'm pretty sure I'm in heaven

The suites were cute and came with everything you'd need. Everything was very clean. I liked that you didn't get your room cleaned unless requested. They had a good spread for breakfast and everything was really tasty. Will return when I need to stay in Albuquerque again.

This place has become my "home away from home" during my regular work trips to Albuquerque. The rooms are clean and spacious; the staff is super kind; and the location is great - you can walk to all kinds of shops and restaurants! I will definitely be back!

Visited for two weeks for a work trip. Staff are fantastic, super friendly, and went out of their way to add a personal touch to our stay. The rooms are clean and well kept, the breakfest is delicious, and the staff are super friendly and without fail will greet you with a good morning and a friendly smile! The hotel itself has quite a few amenities to include a small fitness room, laundry facilities, and a heated pool. The lobby throughout the day will have coffee and water available for guests. The hotel is in a fairly safe part of town and is within walking distance of endless resteraunts and stores, I would gladly stay again!

Stayed here for a weekend trip to ABQ. Pros: * Great location next to plenty of shops. * Clean suites and lobby area * Great free breakfast and coffee * The suites are spacious and have most things you would need to feel at home Cons: Only thing I didn't like was that the bathroom didn't have a vent fan. Most hotels I have stayed at have this. Overall, a great hotel. I would stay here again and recommend it for others!

Just in town for a couple nights to visit with our rep and help with some business calls. I honestly wouldn’t have stayed here except my coworker made the reservations. I’m not familiar with the brand but he likes it and I have to agree. I’ve stayed at other hotels with the same suite format and this one seems well run and maintained. The breakfast was good and certainly enjoyable. Nice and clean common spaces including the exercise room which has a couple treadmills. I like they had coffee available anytime in the lobby and even packaged muffins at 5am when I had to leave for the airport. I’d certainly consider staying here when I come back to town.

The room was spacious, but felt untouched since the 90's. I went down for breakfast around 6:30 and the crew was still just talking and standing in the back. No food was out. The front desk just made up a reason and then said oh it's 7-9 on certain days. With the sign on the wall next to them that says 6-9.

The room was spacious and comfortable. We stayed there for a week. For me if we do not need to request or discuss something with hotel staff that is good stay. No problems. Comfortable surroundings. Excellent, varied buffet breakfast.

This is by far the best hotel I've ever stayed at (I travel for a living). The rooms are well kept, the staff is proud of where they work and what they do and it shows in their performance and service. I believe it's also due to the example their management shows. This is the only place I'll stay when I come to Albuquerque. Other hotels could learn quite a bit by emulating Molly's leadership practices.

I’ve stayed at this property numerous times and have always been very pleased with the accommodations and the staff. This last stay was no different. Actually went down for the complimentary breakfast this time and now regret not going down before this stay. The kitchen staff was very helpful. I don’t recall his name but he seemed to be a kitchen supervisor was awesome and very friendly.

We just stayed a week in May 2023. Excellent location. complementary breakfast was well done. staff was excellent. Hotel is only a few minutes from multiple restaurants and a really nice public golf course straight down Louisiana Avenue. i’ve stayed in other properties in Albuquerque, and this one seems to be the best for us.

Fantastic hotel. One of the BEST we’ve ever stayed at to be honest. Neighborhood was safe. Beds comfortable. Rooms super clean. Pool was wonderful. Breakfast was fantastic including NM green chile that you could have with whatever your heart desires. This is a pet friendly hotel and there were a lot of dogs around - barking, sniffing, doing their pet thing. Staff were all wonderful as well! ❤️

The guest service staff was very friendly and efficient, typical of what I expect from a Hilton brand. Carpet in the room was stained and in need of cleaning and the furniture appeared well worn. The hallways absolutely reeked of citronella, thankfully the room did not smell. The room was quiet but just felt a little to worn and in need of a good deep cleaning. The area is convenient to I-40 and has ample dining and shopping in the immediate vicinity. I’m rating it a 2 because of the overpowering, offensive odor in the halls and the overall feeling that the room was in need of deep cleaning.

Everything here was great! Only small little downside was the shower water pressure was low. But that being said, we will stay here again when in town. The front desk staff was incredibly helpful and nice.

First stay at this location. Friendly staff, clean room, hassle-free experience! Breakfast each morning was hot and fresh! There were a variety of options available! The bed was comfy with all the pillows I could have wanted! The location is a plus, as it’s located near shops, Target, and the Freeway. I enjoyed my week there!

My family of 5 had to make an ‘emergency trip to ABQ to see a specialist. I’d call before our arrival and asked about getting a late check out for the next day. Was told I’d have to check with the front desk person the next morning. Didn’t make it to property until 11:00 pm. We got checked in and was told that the elevator nearest our room wasn’t working. Room was good size with plenty of room and beds. Couch in living room looked worn out. No clocks in the room at all. Only phone was in the living room on a little bitty dining table. One of the two bathrooms didn’t have a shower curtain. When I called down to the front desk. I was told there they didn’t have anyone that was able to get into the storage room, but would have us one by 8 am the next morning. At 8:40 I called down to the front desk and asked about a late check and was told, the latest available was noon. Reason being that they were short staffed and so on. I then asked if the night front desk person had spoken with them about the missing shower curtain. Front desk person replied no at first but when I reminded them that the night desk person had specifically said that he’d let the morning desk person know, they magically remembered. I then asked what time it was and told it was 8:40. I then asked when they thought they would be able to bring the shower curtain up. Over all the place is decent for a Hilton property. The customer service is lacking. Only representative that was accommodating was one of the night security officers Marco. You can do better Homewood Suites.

I stayed here for work over a weekend and had a wonderful stay. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. The lobby, dining, and sitting areas feel very "homey"; comfortable and well decorated. I stayed in a room with a king bed, a small living area, and a kitchenette. The kitchen is supplied with everything you will need to throw together a meal. Although the rooms are a little older, everything was clean and I felt very safe. A huge plus in the large outdoor mall directly across the street with a Target and Trader Joes. Highly recommend staying here!

Our stay was wonderful. This hotel was perfect for our family of 5. The room was spacious and offered 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms as well as a kitchenette. The room was clean and well maintained. The breakfast offered had a wide variety of options for my picky eaters. The heated pool was an added bonus that my kids enjoyed several nights when the temps dropped below 50 degrees. The hotel was also located in a great area with many restaurants and a variety of shopping. We will definitely stay here again.

Very impressed with the service and pet friendly atmosphere. Breakfast was great, beds comfortable, and more space than expected in the room. Furniture a bit worn but I won't hesitate to stay again

Beautiful hotel and room. However, my bathroom door somehow locked after I used it around 7 pm. When I discovered it was locked at 10 pm, the front desk informed me that the maintenance man had left and no one could help me until morning. I was offered the public bathroom on first floor to use the toilet but was told there wasn't any access to another shower. By the way, we're Diamond Members who used points for this one night stay. I am requesting my points be returned to my account.

Stop by Albuquerque to see a friend. The staff at Homewood Suites treated us very well. Rooms were clean and all facilities were working. The building's security gave me piece of mind. In the morning, they offered a complimentary breakfast. It wasn't half bad. They also have a gym and a heated pool but we didn't get around to it. It was after Christmas. Maybe, we'll try it in the summertime. Staff were friendly and expedient. We would return again.

The staff were AMAZING. The front desk staff were so kind, courteous, and personable. The pack-n-play we requested was already in our room upon arrival. The gentleman who hosts breakfast is easily one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. He quickly remembered us on our return trip approximately a week after our initial stay and was so sweet to our daughter. I would highly recommend staying at the Homewood Suites in Uptown ABQ.

Good location with access to nearby restaurants and shopping. The hotel staff was friendly and courteous. The breakfast was also great and even included tamales. The rooms were spacious and comfortable as well. This location also has a heated outdoor pool.

This is a great modern hotel. Things are up to date and we'll maintained. I absolutely love the ability to go to nearby Trader Joe's and utilize their kitchen. Love traveling to the Homewood Suites.

Service! The AC in my room was not working properly. Bethany at front desk had maintenance fix it immediately while I was at dinner. I stay here often and am treated very well. Some of the furniture in the living room of the suite is showing wear and tear..but still comfy. This hotel is immaculate.

This is a great hotel with the best staff ever! Helpful, friendly, and professional, we highly recommend this hotel. The rooms are spacious and the hotel is located conveniently in the middle of Uptown. This hotel is our only choice when staying in Albuquerque.
