Beautiful downtown campus!! Magnificent butterfly gardens. Fun outdoor features, like firepit. However right next door to slaughterhouse so good luck with that! 90 plus proof brandies and absinthe, distilled, bottled & barreled onsite. Kitchen on 3rd floor. Great eclectic music!

Well worth a tour and tasting! After visiting so many bourbon distilleries, this was a very nice change of pace. The tour was informative and entertaining, and the tasting was quite generous. Their brandy is seriously great, and they take great pride in making quality product. Highly recommend the Apple Brandy and the Queen's cut Brandy. Our tour guide Collin was fantastic and gave us a great experience even though we were the last tour of the day.

Good chance of pace from your regular distillery tour in bourbon country. Amazing grounds with several spots great for grabbing a beer. Rooftop bar has a great view of downtown. Tour was informative but at times hard to hear. Tasting was great as you get a a choice of several selections. Well worth a stop.

The rooftop restaurant/bar is a really neat setting. The food was different, but was OK and the drinks were a little disappointing to me. I am more of a bourbon man and they had a very limited selection of my liking. This is only a personal preference, and with that being said, I think if you’d like color less spirit’s and drinks you’d like this place.

This was an awesome experience! They are a brandy distillery but they do have burboun. Do not let that deter you. We learned a lot. Their brandy is put in burboun barrels which was awesome to go down and see all the barrels. The tour guide was very informative and we had such a good time! Not to mention I had never had brandy before and I enjoyed it!

Loved this experience! Did a tour/tasting and loved how they compared the bourbon to brandy making process and the science behind their sonic aging. Definitely a unique experience - younger folks especially will like the atmosphere. The variety of liquor options in the tasting was also great. Don’t skip out on trying the gin!

Highly recommend this tour and tasting. It is a unique experience learning about brandy. The outdoor area is really nice. We went on a Sunday morning and it wasnt crowded at all. Thanks to Dion for the great tour experience and energetic personality.

The Copper & Kings tour and tasting was a nice change from all the bourbon tours. Our tour guide was knowledgeable about the brandy making process and the history of the spirit. It was cool seeing the barrels with Metallica playing overhead. We got to try brandy, bourbon, gin, and absinthe. We didn't have a chance to check out the rooftop bar and restaurant but it looked really cool.

This experience was so much fun and opened our eyes to a whole new world of spirits! We just turned to each other and said, “Brandy?!? Who knew!” So glad we did this tour! Completely fascinated by the process as well. Our tour guide was wonderful and it was clear that he is an integral part of the Copper & Kings team with so much knowledge to share. We’ll be back!

We ended our bourbon trial experience here. Don’t be fooled, even though they make brandy it is a kickass tour! Dion was amazing and you should try to be on his tour if possible. Will forever be repping their brand after hearing what they’re about from Dion. The Caffe Liqueur is killer, as well as the Butchetown, and The History of Lovers gin, don’t skip these on your tasting!

As a member of our group said "they can't all be winners on the bourbon trail". The space at their bar is limited and it sounds like they push for reservations, even when there is plenty of room. We left almost all of our drinks because they weren't good. I'm not sure if it's because of the ingredient or how it was mixed. The service (besides the hostess) was really good and we were offered something else because we didn't like our drinks. We declined but appreciated the gesture. If you're local, I can see the appeal of a local spot to grab a drink. We're about half way through the bourbon trail and we have all agreed, this place is firmly on bottom of the list.

I had the time of my life thanks to Deion and his non-stop laughs! He made learning how to make bourbon and learning the bourbon history fun. I would definitely go back, but only if I could have Deion lol. Be sure to check them out!

Industrial looking cool vibe distillery. We chose the tour and tasting and had a very pleasant experience although it was a tad warm when we visited. Warning this is a cask strength tasting which I really enjoyed. The botanical Gin and Absinthe were dangerously delicious. Highly recommend you check it out when you find yourself in downtown Louisville.

We went there for dinner at 7p not realizing the distillery would be closed. It seemed like a cool location, but we didn't really get to experience it. As for dinner, the restaurant is pretty lowkey - smaller with quieter music. The menu was really limited, but what we did order was good. There were a few misses in what we requested versus what we got, but overall was still tasty.

Came here for dinner on a Thursday night. The rooftop dining was fabulous and I had the umami burger with potatoes which was fabulous. My friend enjoyed her gnocci also. Service was great too. Awesome place.

This is a neat little distillery doing something different than only bourbon/whiskey. They have some solid (and potant) liqueurs, and they absinthe and gin are really unique. They have some great outdoor space that I'm sure is hopping in the summer, but was pretty dead when we were there mid-May. Great gift shop and lots of spirit varieties to buy.

High end cocktails located in the Butchertown neighborhood. Nice view of downtown, with a modern shipping container design. We had some cocktails made with their spirits, along with pimento cheese dip for a snack.

I had an amazing time here. I was lucky to get a slot at the last minute. Military is free and even if we wasn’t this tour is worth it. I will be returning. Rachel was an enjoyable tour guide.

Our favorite tour and tasting of the day! Sarah was our guide and she was tremendous. Highly recommend coming here for great selections. We had another worker come in that talked to us for a bit and he was a really genuine guy as well!

The copper and kings tour was outstanding. Sarah gave us super cool facts about each step of the process. The smells were enchanting and very fruity in the basement and the music that’s played is also a neat touch. The tasting had a variety of options and had something for everyone flavor wise. I strongly recommend giving it a try when in Louisville!

Highly recommend the tour and tasting at Copper & Kings! Took my husband out for the day and we really enjoyed the history and knowledge shared by our guide about the Brandy and Bourbon. The downstairs part using music was my favorite learning of the day!! So cool!

We chose Copper and Kings to have our wedding and have no regrets! The place was beautiful, the staff was awesome and the food was incredible! We had the whole venue with the ceremony in the open air barn, rooftop cocktail hour and reception in the art gallery and it was all perfect! I have never heard so many people compliment the food at a wedding, especially Mac n cheese and chicken! The whole night was perfect, thank you Copper and Kings for hosting us for our special day!

Wedding Planner here! I had the pleasure of working with the Copper & Kings team for a wedding in October. The communication, professionalism, and service were outstanding through the entire planning process. Hayley, Janine, and myself had multiple meetings to ensure the day would go smoothly- and it did! Their attention to detail was truly unmatched. Now for the food- my couple had chosen a fairly simple menu, and the chef absolutely blew me away. It was creative, authentic, and tasty! I was informed that everything was made from scratch on site- wow!! Absolutely wonderful. The drinks- my couple had asked for a seasonal margarita, and wow did Hayley deliver! The bride, groom, and guests loved it!! I can’t wait to do another event here!
