I stopped in yesterday on the last 3rd of a MONSTER ride and grabbed a table on the patio. MY server was soloing the patio area on a nice day, so in my mind she's already a hero. To say nothing of the fact that she still managed a few touches to check in on me. I was needing something that wouldn't give me The Itis (IYKYK), but would keep me from bonking, so I went with the toasted ravioli and about a gallon of Mountain Dew. If you've had a fried cheese stick you've got the idea. The ravioli had a nice bite, and the cheese was warm and melty. The marinara they paired is a perfect compliment. Great mid-day snack. Truly my only regret is not having had more time to sample more of the menu.

Pretty good, but there are better options nearby. I liked the salad and the meatball Parm. The calzone was a little weak. It was also a little too loud despite being mostly empty and one of the employees was walking around with a sweater wrapped around his head like a turban.

The pizza was good and we really like the baked pasta too. Beer on tap was good and atmosphere was great. Service was awesome but food took a while to come out the second time we were there and it wasn’t that full. Our server kept checking in on us during the wait though so it wasn’t bad.

I can't say enough great things about this place, but will try. We had a group of 13 drop in for my son's bachelor party. I have been to places before with large groups where they are not super happy about the size of the group but this place was happy to see us and accommodate our group quickly even though busy. We sat outside on a beautiful night and our waitress was awesome, not only handle 13 of us but also training. The managers were always attentive making sure we are good. The pizza and other food ordered was outstanding, great flavor and the crust had the perfect crisp. The beer was cold and drinks were outstanding...did I say our waitress was outstanding!! When we were wrapping up dinner they had some live music starting so as we were finishing our drinks we starting singing to the music and we'll before long we had our tabs opened back up and stayed another 2 hours singing and dancing to the music. The managers loved that we were having a great time always checking in and laughing along with our nutty group. We had such an awesome night...made that way because again the food was great and the staff was incredible!!! This a must stop for food and great service...and hopefully run into some live music! Thanks to all the staff at Boombooz Pizza for helping make a night these boys talked about driving home and will always remember!! Sorry did not grab pictures of the food, too busy enjoying it!!

Finally was able to experience this restaurant. We dined in for a later lunch and when I tell you the bartender was amazing. She was the host, the bartender, and the waitress. And her service was impeccable and I wish I could remember her name. The food was delicious and rather eye catching. One thing I always check is how clean the establishment is, and this location was very tidy. Didn’t have to clean off the seats before you sit down kind of clean. The pictures don’t do the food justice but if you haven’t tried eating here, you should.

We haven’t been here in a Long time, not sure why because it was very good. Our waiter.our waiter, Matthew, was fabulous. The tea was good. The pizza was good we will definitely be back again.

We are new to Louisville and we are super excited to live in such a fun area, the Highlands offer so much. We received a coupon in our welcome pack for a free 2 topping large pizza from the Boombozz on Bardstown. The deal was for dine-in only so we finally got around to stopping in on a Wednesday evening. The place was not busy, not surprised for a Wednesday with no sporting events on. It looks like a great space for enjoying some food and your favorite televised event. Our server was Mara. She was great. She chatted with us a little and was friendly and attentive. She offered some suggestions of her favorite items which is my favorite thing to ask for at a new restaurant. Servers always have the inside on the fresh and best made items in the house so never be afraid to ask, "what are they loving right now?". We got our pizza, pepperoni and jalapeno on a white pizza. Which is a garlic and oil with lots of fun cheeses, I think goat cheese is on there too, it came out with some fresh chiffonade basil on top and perfectly done. The crust is on the thin side, which we prefer for regular pizza, and is crispy with a nice bit of chew. The seasoning in the crust was too good so no crust was left behind. We also got the Tater kegs Cheese and bacon filled tater tots, but these are some big boys, the size of 3 or 4 normal tots. Six came in the order along with a dipping sauce. We got the garlic cream and ranch. Both are delicious with the kegs. Overall we had a great experience and plan to be back. Mara definitely stood out as the MVP.

. I think Boombozz has the best pizza in town. I live nearby, and usually get my pizza via carry-out. . My favorite is the basic thin-crust pizza, built to order with my choice of ingredients (Italian sausage, green pepper, mushroom & onions). They also have a very nice house salad. . The dine-in area of the restaurant is at the front of the building (closer to Bardstown Road), and the carry-out area is at the rear of the building (separate entrance, off the parking lot). . You can order online or by phone. Delivery is also available.

The food at boombozz is always great, very fresh ingredients, great dough, great specialty pizzas. This past week we decided to eat at this Bardstown road location with our 2 year old. At first the service was great, we were sat down quickly and our appetizers came out shortly after. However this is where things fell apart, an hour goes by since we placed our pizza before our waiter comes to check on us and informs us our pizza was given to the wrong table and then promptly eaten by that table. In that hour our waiter failed to check on us again, and quickly fix that mistake. Our 2 year old began to become restless sitting at one place so we had to get our pizza to go because of how long we had to wait. There was nothing done to fix this mistake other than a sorry. I understand mistakes happen but we were there for an hour for a pizza we didn’t even get to eat there. I do not think we will be going back to this location.

This place is a jewel! The pizzas are awesome. We both had the 4 slice pizzas and it was filling. THE PRETZELS WITH BEER CHEESE IS SOOOO GOOD!!!! The sweet tea is extremely tasty, and each time we went, the service was consistently great!!!!!

If you are from the New York City area, this isn't very good NY style pizza. I'm not talking things like Grimaldis I mean the local place that has been serving up pies for decades. If you choice is between this and the chains. Then take this.

Today was our first time at Boombozz and we were really impressed with the food (we got pizza) and especially the service. Our bartender Austin was amazing and Chase and Cornisha were there making sure everyone was taken care of and happy. We couldn’t have asked for better service. The staff was so welcoming and friendly and we can’t wait so come back soon!! Great experience!

Boombozz is the best for late night pizza! Friendly, quick, accurate, fabulous pizza. Beer selection was good too. Daira was an awesome bar tender - great recommendations, super sweet and attentive. 10/10, would recommend to locals and people from out of town for a solid pizza place.

Great experience at Boombozz Highlands. We went on a week night and it was about 30 minutes before they closed. We were greeted quickly by our bartender, Daira. She gave us menus and got us drinks very quickly. She was very attentive and friendly. Food came out quickly and was delicious. I’ve always enjoyed the food at Boombozz. Their fried raviolis, Asiago cheese bread, and pizzas are all amazing. The only thing I would have changed was the TV volume. It was super loud for the small number of people in the place. Otherwise, a great experience. Highly recommend!

Chad and his crew are both professional and always welcoming! Everyone there appears to love their job no matter the position, which is hard to come by these days. The restaurant area and bar is always clean and buzzing with good energy. The staff are always friendly and going beyond the norm to insure a happy table. Not to mention, the bar has some of the best creative cocktails and bourbons in the area! Oh and definitely start with the Italian Cobb Salad 🤌🏾

Woah! You better believe it! Hannah is so great and the food is so good! Def will come back each and every night! Don’t order 8 pizzas for 7 people!

Love the smell in there alone... Might be understaffed or just lazy staff not sure... Great food though worth it! Definitely check it out if you've never been!

Visiting from out of state and walked in to place a to go order. Hostess was friendly and knew the menu well. Ordered a couple of different pizzas and their hottest wings, extra wet. Pizza was good. Overall I would definitely return!

Food was amazing, Service was wonderful. I had the All Meat Pizza and it was fantastic. Highly recommended A+++

This was my very first time going to Boombozz and I thought it was Excellent!! Nice AWESOME atmosphere, there was a lady playing music solo and she sounded wonderful. The food was Great, the service was AWESOME and the wait staff were very professional and courteous. I would recommend Boombozz to anyone.

Great pizza - we had the Nonna Pizza. It was ready for pickup in less than 10 minutes. Fast and efficient service.

Ordered the New York pizza pie and the boom boom wings. Let me tell you it did not disappoint! I am picky about my pizza crust and I was not let down. The wings were fire and the ranch was perfectly creamy and tangy.

The food and service were great. Expect to spend at least $20 a person for any meal. We had a large Supreme pizza and a birthday canoli. The pizza's flavor was outstanding! Definitely one of the better pizzas in the area and worth the $22 for a large. The canoli was remarkable and highly recommended as a dessert. Of course the drinks are crazy expensive as they are everywhere now. Overall, this is a very nice place to eat occasionally. Of course we all know restaurants do have their bad days.

Horrible. I ordered garlic butter wings and received some wings that looked and tasted undercooked. I had to take them home to finish the flavor and cooking time. I had a chicken salad that was so nasty. I thought who could mess up a salad, but the chicken was so dry that Mr. Ed would choke. I may be telling my age, but I think that chicken told a few stories as well. My grandson age 3 ordered a cheese pizza and was highly upset over the taste, so he ate his mom pepperoni pizza, which is unusual for him. We had to send so much food back. Then my drink. Well, let's say I'm too old for a half glass of anything. My grandson and I ordered an apple juice and received half a glass. I laughed out loud and asked if it was on to have a full glass for the price I'm paying. My waiter not only brought us the apple juice bless his heart, but it was very warm with no ice, so needless to say I had to ask if ice was free or did I need to pay extra. I have never been here, but I wanted to see if it lived up to its name. I spent a great deal of money only to be dissatisfied even with apple juice. Well, I guess it's an acquired taste too easy at such a mundane place.

My husband and I have been here a couple of times, and they have not disappointed us yet. I get the Nonna and a salad on the side, and it is so good. Pleasant environment, I definitely suggest!

Hands down my favorite place for bruschetta! My husband and I actually like to visit for apps and dessert. The staff, atmosphere, and food are all great!

Went to this location July 30 2022 with my husband and our 3 girls after a very bad experience at another boombozz location. When I say this staff is amazing that is a total understatement. The staff at this location are so welcoming and family like right off the bat. Food was absolutely amazing and service was top notch. There was a live band that night and the atmosphere was to die for. If you want amazing food and to feel like you belong this place is where you go. Thank you to the whole staff working that night for your amazing service. We will definitely be back.

The manager working on 16 Oct 2021 at 7 PM EST went above and beyond the call of duty and should be recognized! 5 stars because of him and him solely! Uber ended up grabbing and delivering the completely wrong order. When I let the manager know about my kids and them being super hungry not wanting to eat a vegetable only pizza that he immediately volunteered to not only correct the order but use his personal vehicle to deliver the pizzas himself to us. I told him how awesome that would be of him and how thankful that he is a such a good soul to take ownership and go above and beyond and deliver it himself. To my surprise when he got here he delivered not only the correct order but upgraded the size of 1 of our pizzas and added a cookie. I was so blown away absolutely 5 stars if could give more I would. Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you. Going to rave about this to all my friends and family 100. I hope his leadership sees this and does the right thing or at least his employees see it and are driven to emulate his values emotional intelligence and positive energy. Used it as a teaching lesson for my kids as well. It takes a tribe Thank you a million hope your night goes as well as you made ours plus some!

First time visiting here and it was great! Not very busy fir a Saturday evening. Service was friendly and prompt. Highly recommend giving it a shot! The pizza was so yummy!

Visited around 1pm which was the perfect time. Seated quickly, placed our orders right away, and the food was prepared in a short time. The taste was amazing. Did the choose 3 topping calzone, pepperoni, mushroom, & spinach. Well cooked and so delicious I wanted a second one. When I'm back in town, I'll be visiting.

All the food is good. The famous wings are great with no sauce. I recommend you try this place if you haven’t. Sweet tea is decent

Food is good and service is great. Their priority of keeping guests comfortable with air conditioning is lacking. They tell us the thermostat is set to 65⁰ but it feels like 85⁰ and there is only one ceiling fan in the entire building.

Great service, fast refills, hot food, check on us frequently but not so much as to be annoying. The pizza, Tater Kegs, Toasted Ravioli, and Mamma Meatz calzone were all really good. Will definitely eat here again!
