Lulu’s BBQ was a great stop while in the area! Cool vibe in the restaurant and outside. Great curb appeal with an awesome entrance. Used to be an old gas station which was pretty unique. Food was great and the employees knew exactly how to work together! Good menu and pricing! Would most definitely come back!

Typical greasy cold food dry buns wet carrots bar food. Just a bar. Smoked eings are sweet. Brisket is tough. Tables aren't clean. Atmosphere good for a bar. 2 stars only. Very Limited menu.

TEXAN APPROVED… The brisket is the real deal and everything else is fantastic as well. I’d recommend ordering (at a bare minimum) the brisket, ribs and the cornbread with the cinnamon butter.

I’ve never had better BBQ in my life. This place consistently delivers, and as a result, I am a frequent here. They treat me like family and have legitimately never had a bad meal here. Everything on the menu is fantastic. Highly recommend.

Excellent BBQ in downtown Louisville, CO. The atmosphere is fun, plenty of outdoor seating, creative drinks, and a complimentary beer koozie! The food is delicious and the waitstaff and bartenders are fun and friendly. If you’re in Louisville don’t miss out on experiencing Lulu’s!

I want to like this place more than I do. It's very difficult to find good BBQ in Colorado. Plenty of parking near by. The restaurant is cool, it was an old gas station that's been turned into a BBQ restaurant. Nice outdoor seating areas. The service is hit or miss. Sometimes service is great other times, not even close to great. It is really crazy. A summer evening the wait staff is A+, Sunday afternoon the person waiting on you is annoyed and makes the experience awkward. Now for the food. Starters like fried pickles, sweet potato fries and wings are pretty good. The sides are also pretty good. The main BBQ...it's a hit, or a complete miss. Ribs are good, but the brisket is dry. Chicken is okay but the pulled pork is dry. The sauce they have is just okay. I can go to a big chain BBQ place for the same dried up brisket. And a novice using a pellet smoker can make better pulled pork. Unfortunately this place is 3 stars.

Disclaimer: I'm a vegetarian, so I did not try any of the meats. The tofu was also almost inedible. It was blackened, but had no flavor - which is my overall problem with this place. Honestly, though, how does one even achieve "blackened" without imparting any flavor?! I must say that I REALLY appreciate a BBQ joint in CO offering a veg option, but I would beg the chef(s) to please try a bite yourself. I would suggest trying to marinate the tofu before you blacken it. (And please. PLEASE! explore other cooking methods.) I also felt like the coleslaw and macaroni & cheese were under seasoned. It was obvious that the pasta in the mac & cheese had not been salted at all; it was almost inedible because the pasta was so bland. The cheese sauce had good flavor, but the blandness of the mac was hard to get past. The coleslaw was good; I just had to add my own little pinch of salt and pepper. The cornbread was probably the highlight of the meal; their cinnamon butter is delightful. Don't go without having a taste. As for the meats, the rest of my party ordered family style with pulled pork, brisket, and sausage, and all seemed to enjoy it all. They didn't even have any leftovers to take home. Additionally, the staff and environment were wonderful!! We went on a busy Friday night. We were greeted and attended to very quickly. A+ to the staff!!

Very nice atmosphere in or out with tasty BBQ and drinks to enjoy! I'm going back soon. We had a pound of sausages. Is bearly enough for 2. That was the cheapest way to get your meat. Brisket is the best but is expensive. You can end up paying 100 for 2 easy! That's the only reason why 4 stars. Enjoy!

The good and the just ok lol. The brisket was dry but edible, what do you expect it’s Colorado not Texas lol. The pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw was pretty tasty would’ve been even more tastier if it had more coleslaw on it!! The sauces at the table, they alright, that’s about it lol.

Food was just ok. We started with the fried pickles which were very tasty. The spicy ranch that came with it was yummy. For the main course we ordered the brisket and chicken platter with Mac & cheese as the side. The brisket was very dry and tough which we were really disappointed about. However, the spicy bbq sauce added a lot of flavor to the meats.

We were looking for some authentic, mouth-watering BBQ, and we found it! We were greeted by a friendly smile and an option to sit on the patio or inside. As it was a lovely day, we chose the patio (which I definitely recommend). There is an extensive beverage menu, both spirited and not. For entrees, I chose the 1/2 and 1/2, with ribs and chicken. The ribs were fall off the bone good and seasoned to perfection. The chicken was also tasty. My guest chose the brisket. We traded a slice of brisket for a rib, and I can say the brisket was spot on. For desert, we shared a slice of honemade keylime pie. It was huge, probably 1/4 of a pie. If you're in the area, definitely give Lulu's a try!

I wish I had a bigger stomach, so I could’ve tried more food! Everything was delicious and the service was fantastic. It felt super homey and approachable there.

I have not met anyone who works at this restaurant who I didn't want to hang out with. I do not know how they do it, but their hiring is great. The food is superb, three types of barbecue sauce (hot, sweet, and mustard), burnt ends are great, ribs are as great as you hope. Beans, fried okra, smoked sausage, smoked wings, brisket, I can personally recommend nearly anything on the menu. No french fries on the menu, but they do have sweet potato fries The back patio is pretty great, sit just inside near the back bar if you want to feel like a local. It is also a great place to grab for a large family meal or picnic.

We sat outback at the picnic tables, it was a beautiful night with great weather and company. My son loved the frozen lemonade with strawberry which he loved!

Pulled pork was very dry but the nachos were amazing! Very large portion, my husband and I together couldn’t finish it. I would recommend the spicy BBQ sauce because I feel the others were too sweet.

We ordered 1/2 N 1/2 plate (smoke chicken, pulled pork, slaw & fried okra). Food is good but not great.

The bbq was definitely one of the best here .. but losing the 1star is becos the sides were too bland e.g coleslaw tasteless and cornbread tasteless needs jalapeños to hype it up a level .. lol overall we really enjoyed our 1st time here today.. green chili queso was awesome 👌 services was good. BTW someone needs to check the faucet in the ladies bathroom.. barely water coming out.

Gold star for Lulu's bbq. I have been in the BBQ business for 32 years. This is the best family run BBQ in a long time for me. Friendly and neighbor hood atmosphere

First timer from out of town and what a great spot. Went with friends, one of whom it was a favorite spot and I’d go back. The beer slush is phenomenal, the original was the best and the sangria flavor was great too. Nachos were fantastic with pulled pork on the side. I had to try 3 meats and they were all delicious. Pulled pork, brisket, smoked turkey were awesome and good sauces. Potato salad and corn break for sides were nice. Service was great, attentive and quick. Good atmosphere.

I’m just going to assume I went on a bad day. Maybe someone new working on the smoker. And someone new making the mac & cheese and beans also. I also added pictures of the ribs. “The ones with the toothpick” “The ones on the plate” are the ones posted from a previous consumer. They made me want to take my family here for lunch. I ate two ribs and took the rest home and threw them out when I get home.

They have a new location coming to Arvada and we are so excited....until then we will continue to come to Louisville for this amazing food!

We had their fabulous Nachos with Brisket and green chili. SO good! Paired with a Barrel aged Scotch Ale we were on Cloud 9. Enjoyed the outdoor patio with the pups. Lulu's was a great experience.
