    I don’t post 1 star reviews often, so I hope this review captures the weight of why you should avoid this McDonald’s for the sake of your own safety and wellbeing. I have not frequented this McDonald’s much, but have not had a single positive experience in any visit I’ve had. They recently remodeled, so we decided to give them another shot and to see the new building. We ordered a mobile order for breakfast through the app and went through the drive thru line to get it. After waiting for 15+ minutes to get to the window they hastily threw us a bag that was the wrong order. We drove up to the next window to get them to correct it and it turns out they ‘lost’ our order and had to remake it on the spot. Against my better judgement, I went there again for dinner in the spirit of giving second chances. There were wet floor cones in front of the register where you order and the girl was on her phone and of course acted like she didn’t want to be there. After about 15 minutes of waiting on my food (it wasn’t very busy inside) an off the clock employee noticed I hadn’t gotten my food yet and went back there on his break to check on my order (this employee was the only positive in this experience). He told me they gave my food away to someone else which is the second time in one day this has happened. After remaking my meal 20+ minutes into this, they gave me my meal without a drink. I told them I had a drink and he said they are going to get it. After biting Into my sandwich I noticed the meat was undercooked to a level you wouldn’t expect from a fast food meal. After finishing my meal, I still didn’t get a drink and decided I was ready to leave without it. This McDonald’s has a serious work flow problem. When you give away orders you rush to make them up. And when you rush to make them up enough times, you cut corners and will get someone sick. I would seriously consider my options before going to this McDonald’s. It’s better to be safe than to get a quick meal.

    I was happy to see this location open again after the rebuild - until I actually got some food. The fries were literally half full (and old and cold) and there was almost no barbecue sauce on the McRib - most of it had none at all. The tea was the only decent thing.

    Normally this McDonald's is an OK location. But for some reason the staff here lately seems to be very angry at work and likes to yell at people through the drive through. If you don't like your job working out mcdonald's, then get a different job but don't be in customer service to get mad at people ordering food.

    Very glad they are open late. I really had a taste for a chocolate milk shake. Unfortunately, their shake was more like a vanilla shake with a tiny bit of chocolate syrup and not well mixed. I came home and made, from scratch, a chocolate syrup from cocoa and milk with a pinch of salt and sugar then warmed it up and poured it into the vanilla/chocolate shake I purchased. It was delicious. So, I just wished they had taken the time to make a chocolate shake. Not too sure if I'll order one again from McD's.

    The atmosphere is always great. Service has gone way down, and food quality sucks since the Qing station freshly made food has gone out the window million of people would disagree with me but I have worked for McDonald's for over 17 years and I hear what people say about McDonald's food, families only go to McDonald's is for the children. When I ask for fresh and hot food, I just do not mean the meat. I also mean the toasted buns.

    I could have drove to 5 other McDonald's and still gotten food faster and that would have been hot before they would have even given me my drinks. They tore down the old building and built a fancy new one but they apparently did not retain any of the former associates. Fast is not here. Do yourself a favor and drive over 264 and visit the one on Dutchmans.

    Horrible service tonight. It’s normally pretty good here but tonight was not. They gave me my food and told me to have a nice night but missed my entire bag of sandwiches and never came back to the window. Had to walk in over all good is okay but fries were not done and cold and my grandsons burger was hard ……

    It's a mcdonalds, I don't expect much and they still let me down, every. Single. Time. Order takes 15 minutes, is never correct, and this is *if* you can even get anyone to come up front and take orders or check on guests. You could run a fight club in the lobby and the employees would never even know

    This location was previously a disaster, but they tore that building down and put up a whole new one, so I decioto give them a second chance. More fool me. The clueless, mumbling girl behind the counter first rang me up for the wrong food entirely, then a manager came over and fiddled with the register and got the right food ordered. Then, after a rather prolonged wait, I got my food. My container of fries was half-filled with limp and cold fries , I got a Diet Coke instead of the regular one I had ordered, and they had the temerity to charge me for extra onions. So I'm not coming back. Evidently the same slipshod management that made the previous store a location to avoid has carried over to this one.

    If I could post less than one star, I would🤬 This McDonald’s was better to go to, before the remodel. And even the service then was sub-par. Whoever re-staffed this McDonald’s should be fired immediately! The staff is rude, and the service is horrible! Case in point: My meal I JUST picked up, was served with stale fries. I would also like to add that my partner had to wait in the drive-thru for over 20 minutes, after ordering, because they FORGOT to put the order in. And when they delivered the food to my partner. Avoid this restaurant at ALL times. If corporate sees this message, please please please fire everyone and rehire better employees.

    Ordered a drink for $1.06 and was charged $6.44. How did this happen? I paid with a card and didn't get a receipt. Was being handed food, but should have been receiving 2 drinks (1 was free from the app). Asked if I was charged for the right order since I didn't know at that time. The manager said I was only charged $1.06 after they checked with the other window. My drink was also incorrect and when remade it was.... still wrong. The manager also didn't check the last 2 payments since I was in fact charged $6.44. Didn't log in to my card until I got home so I have few options left on what to do. Not worth driving back and watching them being lost and confused since they couldn't get the drink right after 2 tries and were wrong about the $. This was 12/17 around 7:55 pm.

    I eat at other McDonald's frequently but avoid this location. Getting refills is always a pain. You have to wait to get the attention of a employee and wait to get a refill.

    The absolute worst McDonald’s in Louisville. I try to give benefit of doubt but every time I go they manage to not jus mess up some of my order, THEY LITERALLY MESS THE ENTIRE ORDER UP EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. And then make it hard to get what you paid for. Stay far away there is a McDonald’s down the street on hurstborne that you can actually get what you order.

    The drive thru workers are always extremely friendly to me at this location. Much much better than the nearby Dutchman’s location. The remodeled dining room is very nice, although my only complaint would be the lack of self-serve drink machine. But I usually do drive thru and the workers are so great every single time, which motivated me to write this review.

    There are no longer prices on the menu... I was tricked into spending an ungodly amount for 2 breakfast sandwiches made with extremely low quality ingredients. I am DONE with McDonald's. Good job taking advantage of inflation and still not increasing workers wages to match.

    DO NOT USE CURBSIDE PICKUP! I waited 20 minutes for a drink and fries, while tons of cars went through the drive through. Called after about 16 minutes; when they finally brought it out, they didn’t even give me a napkin. Should have used the drive through! At least they did answer the phone.

    I don’t know what it is with this McDonald’s and their pies but every time I order delivery or DoorDash and I get any type of pie they never included or bring it or pack it and then when I go in and say that it wasn’t the correct amount and show them a receipt they say it’s wrong. So I don’t know if they have a grudge against pies or why I can’t get my pie even though I paid for it but I just ordered another delivery and there was no pies in it and last time I ordered like six pies and I ordered a two pack, which in a two pack, it comes with two which is why it’s called a two pack. They only gave me one, so I went up there and I said hey, I ordered two pack and they said, yeah so we gave you one and like there’s two in a two pack. Proceeded to argue with me, even when I had the receipt of how many I got, and how much I paid for, but still would not give me my other pie

    Horribly ran restaurant they continuously mess up your orders even after repeating it to you if you ask for fresh items they just drop them back into the grease and present them as fresh. Dining area and tables are always and I mean always filthy.

    Two days in a row I’ve asked for a quarter pounder with no pickles; two days in a row they messed up my order.! I’m not allergic to pickles but the spices and preservatives in the pickle makes me sick to my stomach. What part of no pickles do they knew not understand?Today when I got my burger the carton had to scan stickers on it one number 1237 no silver onions the one placed on top of it is number 1337 no pickles. My burger was cold the cheese was orange and hard. I’m at work I do not have the time to go back-and-forth to get my auto corrected.I have called multiple times and no one has answered the phone. I am truly disappointed with the service And lack of concern for customers!

    For the most part the newly rebuilt from the ground up location, is doing it's best. The decision to leave out the drink stations for customers self service is a bit confusing. It puts more work on the already busy employees. And in the wake of covid just behind us, the handling of others food or drinks is a "touchy" subject to say the least. They're not allowed to take your cup to refill it, they have to make a new one altogether and instruct you to throw away the one you have. But what about product cost? I went this morning and for the first time saw cars wrapped around the building and a lobby full of impatient customers waiting for their food. And strangely enough 3 rather large orders in a row the young girl called out the mobile order number for, no one was present to claim. Overwhelmed as she was she maintained her composure though, and others from the back pitched in to help. Overall I'm glad the location is up and running, the free McDonald's WI-FI still isn't working fyi.

    They were having problems with their app so I couldn’t order online. So I went inside. Big mistake. 15 minutes to get 2 breakfast sandwiches and a hash brown. Got home, they gave me the wrong sandwich. Very frustrated

    Very bad service! There was a sign posted for free refills ..nope didn't happen...lady was more interested in talking to an EMPLOYEE about How to clean a table while taking My order...rang out a wet rag onto the floor right in front of me...then took my order...NO GLOVES NO NOTHING! and still got my order Wrong!

    This is the newly-rebuilt location. They have not figured out how to serve food. This was my third visit since the location re-opened. On 2 occasions, I ordered at the kiosk, took a table number, and seated. After 10 minutes, I had to go up front and wait another 5 minutes to get my food. By that time, the food was cold. The other visit was drive-thru and everything went well.

    Fries were hot but the sandwiches were old and kind of dry. We got there at a weird time but I still expect fresh food. The place is always very clean and the staff moves fast, however and all in all it's a pretty good McDonald's after their renovation.

    Ok so I haven’t been here in like 8 months because the food was prepared horribly. I wanted some breakfast so I got some today at 5:35am and surprisingly it was prepared perfectly and the right temperature. The lady that took my money was pleasant and the lady that handled my food was nice as well. That goes to show that the quality of food will be just as good as the quality of person that prepares it. But something tells me that if I went there 12 hours from now the case may not be the same. Good luck mcds fire the garbage keep the good ones,, no mater what!
