I've always known vegan food can be good. V-Grits shows it can be great. The Nashville-style hot chicken (seitan) sandwich was crisp and spicy. The curried chickpeas are served cold and have a delightful, potato salad flavor and texture. But the real star is the loaded Mac & Pub Cheese. Incredible flavor and creaminess. As a non-vegan cheese lover, I'd put it up against any Mac & Cheese out there.

Industrial interior, rooftop patio. Delicious all-vegan menu. There is some convenience in the fact that food comes served in half of a takeout container, so you can easily ask for a lid and take leftovers to go - but it would be nice to have real dishes and eliminate all the plastic waste from folks who aren’t leaving with food.

Overall a great vegan dining experience. This was our first visit and the entire family enjoyed their food, even our picky child. The fries are absolutely amazing so don't miss out on them. The mac and cheese is delicious and has a very comfort food vibe. The artwork on the walls in beautiful and the online ordering system is very unique. The only downfall is that if you are not ordering alcohol the drink menu is very limited but they do offer free water. We will definitely return in the future.

This vegan experience is one of the best we have had so far. We tried different selections on the menu and everything was seasoned well and delicious. The lemonade was awesome, the food selections gave us a new experience each time. I would definitely give a strong recommendation for anyone to experience this restaurant. The place is nice, clean, friendly, and comfortable.

One of the best Vegan places I’ve been to… The offerings are very elaborate and could get a bit confusing.. However, we took the help of waiter for recommendations… The sandwiches were very tasteful and amazing.. Wouldn’t mind visiting here once again..

What can I say about this place... this is my all time favorite vegan restaurant. I'm happy with the new location. Today I had the BBQ platter, first time trying this and it was very good. Yes I will be back to get this again.

If you like cheese fries but want to still be conscious of what you consume, you have to try the “chicken “ fries. This vegan friendly spot is so good I had to double check my food to make sure it was actually vegan!!! I’m a meat eater so this recipe speaks volumes to the chef. ***Full disclosure** You will not mistake the chicken for chicken but you will wonder if it’s a new meat you haven’t had yet 😋

I went here a couple of years ago (at the old location) and it was amazing. This time I ordered the Nashville hot sandwich and was disappointed. The seitan tasted like flour, had way too much breading and the sandwich was hard as a rock. The service was super friendly and the location was great. I'll be back and will try something else. I hope I just caught them on a bad day near closing time.

Fantastic food! Recently became vegetarian and this place hit the spot. They really know how to authentically prepare vegan cuisine. Not only was the food amazing, but the service was great as well! Super friendly staff and just an overall great experience! Can't wait to come back and try more menu items!

One of my absolute favorite vegan restaurants by far. I drove from Columbus Ohio to V-Grits and it was the best decision I made. My favorite item on the menu is the Philly cheese steak fries. I love that they make all their meats in house. And I can't wait until they sell the meat in bulk because I will be buying it.

As a visiting vegan in Louisville, I had to try V-grits and I'm so glad I did! It was absolutely incredible! The atmosphere was fun and chic, the drinks were delicious, and the food was phenomenal. If I lived in Louisville I think I'd be here on a weekly basis! I really enjoyed the jerk platter, chips and queso, and the Thai fries!

I loved it! It was the perfect place to take my self on a date to. It had a nice cozy vibe. The food was great. The cocktail was amazing! And they were really friendly and accommodating. I recommend coming here and dining in! I will definitely be coming back when I’m in town.

Awesome joint. Incredibly spacious, roof top deck seating. Food was great. You will pick your own table and scan the QR code, it’ll have your table number and they bring your food to you, can also pay that way as well. Cute and clean spot.

The food is bad. It's dry, it's unflavorful, it's often cold. I've eaten here for the better part of a year, always hoping it'll be better next time, and it just never is. The chicken basket and the new sausage egg and cheese biscuit were the final straw, I've never had something so disappointing from a restaurant. Mac and cheese bites are about the only thing worth having.

We ordered the Reuben Egg Rolls, Harvest Wrap, and Crunchwrap. All were very good - my favorite was the Crunchwrap. The french fries were amazing. The service was very fast. I like that you can order and pay for your food from your phone.

One of the best vegan restaurants, its memory truly still makes me drool years later! Thanks for allowing vegans and meat eaters alike to enjoy a proper hot chicken sandwich.

Had the Vegan chilli, great flavors and generous portions. Came with a small slice of corn bread. They had really interesting bloody Mary’s too, with horseradish and garlic. Not for the faint hearted. Cool wall art too

Food was yummy esp cornbread! Was hoping for more food though, but everything was tasty! Though the greens n beans combo didnt mesh well to me. The mac n cheese was great. I got the BBQ plate!

Phenomenal food, staff, and prices. Stoked for when they can be in their own building and really expand their menu. Brunch looked awesome, but even a Saturday lunch of the hot chixen, gouda mac, and a pastry was stellar. Gouda mac was some of the best vegan mac i’ve ever had.

I'm so grateful to have a vegan food establishment...however, my chicken sandwich was incredibly oily- dripping with oil. Fries were soggy. The beans and chickpea salad were good. I'd really love it if they made mashed potatoes and gravy :). Overall, maybe a non fried chikn sandwich option?

Tried the BBQ platter + Nashville hot chicken sandwich. Should have taken pictures, but we were too hungry. Staff was friendly, attentive, and food came out fast. A vegan must visit in Louisville.

Oh, my stars!! The food was wonderful. So tasty, so fresh. Great portions. But the ultimate was the chocolate cherry cheesecake. It was a little bit of heaven in every bite. (One suggestion, some of the chips got tuff, so fresh with every order.)

Awesome selection of vegan dishes. They also have A great selection of desserts some of The times. On my first visit, I had the chicken sandwich with fries which was delicious and crispy. On my next visit, I have the crunchwrap with fries and return several times afterward. Most of The Times I order fries as a side dish, and unfortunately, they were pretty lukewarm, but still flavourful. There have been other food quality issues in between the tenor zoo visits that I've had that I won't get into detail of. They always have a good selection of music playing. While waiting for take-out they were playing a mix of Radiohead songs. The staff was very courteous and helpful. Definitely we'll revisit!

The food was fantastic. Probably the best Mac and Cheese we've ever had. Our beer was brought to us within a minute and the food literally took 5, but tasted very fresh.

My meal was absolutely delish!! It was spicy, so if u love spicy food. Try their Caribbean jerk. The atmosphere is very laid back and the menu is different. Very nice, I went with my son and they had a family show on. I loved that.
