We know these kind of places make good plentiful food but we wasn’t expecting this huge plate of food! 😆 not a bad thing at all cause we show nuff took the box with us and finished on the road! Our beautiful waitress was sweet and checked on us Multiple times. Bathroom was very clean! Sometimes that matters to people and I am one of them. Chicken was seasoned & juicy the whole way through. The spicy dipping sauce that goes with it is just the icing on the cake. Grits were made how my daddy & husband makes em.. took me back! The strawberry butter was absolutely different to us lord we stared at each other in disbelief 😂 😂 we’ll be back!

First Visit. My wait was only about 20 mins. Which is good for a busy Saturday morning. The staff is very friendly and the good service. Sam D was my waiter Not rude and very attentive. I swear it took all of 9 mins to get my food from Order!! I had the croissant french toast which was slap your momma good 😊. This place is HIGHLY recommended.

My family loves this place. We come here often. The breakfast is great, Their chicken and waffle portion is amazing and is enough for 2 easily. We also love their basic American food options. I don’t want to forget to mention their Mimosas are delicious and well priced.

Had a great lunch here the chicken and waffles was amazing with the strawberry butter perfect ! there are several good things on the menu to try. I would recommend this place to others. I wish I would’ve known I could’ve got chicken tenders instead of fried chicken though I’ll have to get that next time. It was a great meal. Great service in my server put me on to a good mixture, syrup in hot sauce with the chicken. You’ll have to try it out if you get the chicken.

The cinnamon roll pancake is delicious. I love the candied pecans! The syrup is warmed up and fantastic. I wasn’t able to eat it all with the sugar, but I look forward to eating it again later. The service was nice. The biscuits and gravy with hah browns was also very good! I ate some to off set the sugar. I would come back.

Me and my boyfriend love eating here! Great food for affordable prices. He’s tried the breakfast burger and today he got the spicy honey chicken sandwich and I got the chicken sandwich with a side of their creole mustard and it was delicious! Food came out in a timely manner and was done fresh. Our server was Carissa and her service was outstanding. Very attentive and very friendly! Definitely recommend this place and I’ll definitely be visiting again.

This is a hidden gem! Everythint was delicious! Will be back to eat our way through the menu. Very reasonably priced. Brandon was a great server 👌

What a wonderful place this is! The atmosphere is friendly, the coffee was good, and the food was phenomenal. I had the chicken and waffles (so did my sister) which was a huge portion of fried chicken and one of the best Belgium waffles I've had in a long time! My youngest got the pancakes which he ate right up. My husband got the biscuits and gravy with eggs and hash browns. Normally he is very picky about his gravy so when he was scraping the bowl for more I knew it was a home run! We all enjoyed our time here very much and have decided to make it our new meeting place when we meet in the middle to see my sister. I definitely suggest checking it out if you're ever in the area. Next time I'm getting a mimosa and trying their eggs benedict!

Hands down best place to go to enjoy a really good comfortable atmosphere along with the best food an great employees. Jennifer the manager made sure everything was in top notch order. Our server Aaron was the best server I've seen in quite sometime. He maintained our beverages really good an was really nice an courteous the whole time

Our service and food was amazing! Our server was Shannan. She was very knowledgeable of the menu and showed us good southern hospitality! our dining experience could not have been any better thanks so much Shannan. Amazing food and friendly staff! Brittney was an amazing waitress! I got the chicken and waffles and it was soooo much food! It will definitely feed at least two people. It was really cold inside, but other than that it was a great experience! We will be back!

Great presentation for the shrimp and grits!!! Lots of chicken for the waffles, although one piece was way over cooked. Good atmosphere and the service was excellent!!

Metro Diner!!! YUM YUM!!! I’ll have to return to try the carnitas bowl, (you were out) but the protein platter was a good second choice! I, of course, has to modify it. Service here is also good!!! 2nd visit. Service was just as great as the first visit. Our server Kelsea was just awesome. Oh and the guy that helped with my baby nephew was a great show of southern charm!! This time I was able to try the carnitas bowl. It was good, but just didn’t have any(enough) seasoning for me. Oh and of course I modified it. I’m not a fan of hollandaise sauce, or sour cream, so I requested to have those removed and replaced with jalapeños and salsa.

Great place to eat like always love the chicken and waffles and the cinnamon roll Pancakes is off the chain.!!! 🔥🔥🔥service is great and fast. The food came out hot

Our hostess was such a sweet lady. She was attentive and friendly. Kept coming back to see if we needed anything. The food tasted great, was hot, right amount of carbonation in drinks. Price were a little high, but we love new places.

Kaley is the best worker to be here in a century. She didnt even make my food but i could tell it tasted better bc she served with love 😢😢 1000/100 service and should be a stand up comedian! If i could i would rate 10 stars.

My husband and I eat there frequently on Sundays after church. We enjoy the food. The awesome service! Every waiter waitress we've had have been excellent. This morning we went and we had Jolene, She was outstanding. Awesome customer service friendly. Always goes above and beyond when we come. Food was amazing as always. New pumpkin waffles are to die for. And my waiter Kristina was an amazing server! I couldn’t have asked for a better dinning experience.

GOOD: 1. Jolene, Jolene, Jolene. She was our server on a recent visit and everything about her attitude and excellent service was the icing on the cake (or in my case, the cheese on my omelet!). 2. Comparable to other 'diner' chains, the food is basic, but tasty--exactly as it should be. 3. Wide menu feature all-day breakfast, lunch, and dinner entrees. BAD: Nothing bad to report on my visit.

Metro Diner was great. I had the fried chicken and waffle. Both were delicious. The Belgian waffle was big and came with strawberry butter thst was really good. The chicken tenders (you get the option of tenders or half a chicken) were huge. I couldn't eat all of them. Great price and food.

Food and service were top notch. Restaurant itself needs an update as it appears a little worn. Restrooms are only one stall so if it's crowded you will wait. If it's cold outside and you sit near the door bring a jacket!

This place is amazing! Very much an old school diner vibe, and the menu was phenomenal! Great food, and the strawberry butter was amazing on the Belgian waffle. Our server, Andrea, was incredibly attentive and made sure my coffee never saw the bottom of its mug. All in all, a perfect place to start my day :-)

Good food, good service, fair price. I have been here twice and impressed so far. The roast beef dinner is excellent. The fish is great too. But if it's your first time to MD, get the roast beef. I'd give 4.5 stars, but it's slightly on the high side when it comes to price. I think they close too early too. They should consider extending hours to 10 p.m., at least for Friday and Saturday.

Came here based on the google reviews. We expected generic diner food but were pleasantly surprised to have some of the best honey spicy chicken sandwiches. The food was fast, affordable, and hot. The fries were terrific. We will definitely be coming back here again and I'd recommend it to anyone!

Awesome food and service sam d was the best !! Wasnt my first but my brothers and she still treated as we both were new even let the manager know was first time. I really enjoy getting breakfast here. It is always my go and everything I’ve ordered here so far I have been pleased with. But I had ordered takeout today and they forgot my strawberry butter. I got charged extra for ordering it and it wasn’t even there. That was the entire reason I even ordered a waffle in the first place so I was pretty upset about it. It was a waste of money and a waffle.

This place is pretty busy, staff are nice and food are good. The fried chicken and waffle, shrimp po’ boy were beyond my expectations at a reasonable price! I agreed with my husband to be back again.

We ate here on black Friday, at first it seemed so busy we almost left, we decided to stick around and the wait was extremely short considering the place was packed! We had the chicken and waffles and salad all very good! Our waitress was Jollen Who was great! It's a little pricey but worth it.

I'm from Illinois but visiting a friend in Louisville. We've been here 2 days in a row and are going back again today. The service and food has been nothing but top notch. We get seated immediately even when they're busy and our order is taken promptly by friendly servers. If I remember her name correctly we have had Samantha both times and she is very pleasant. The food comes out quick, hot and absolutely delicious. Don't pass this place up, there's not many restaurants like this left nowadays.

Visited the area and grabbed brunch here. The best chicken I’ve had with chicken n’ waffles in a while. Mimosas were a good size and overall everything was reasonably priced. Service was quick and excellent. Great staff!
