😠 If you want to see some old houses that are falling apart well you found the right place. You'll have a good time walking around a very sketchy area if you're up for it. Old Louisville has been going down hill for awhile and is reflected very well. Have fun and don't get jumped. People often mention Louisville, area, beautiful, time, homes,

Historic old Louisville offers some beautiful architecture that has been well maintained since the early 1900s. Well worth strolling through the area and maybe catching some food in the local eatery’s.

The diverse architectural homes dating back to the 1860's are like no other's in the country. Old Louisville is a island of home's and parks that will take you back in time when the area was the city's main residential area. Simply beautiful and a must see.

Old Louisville is a such a pleasant surprise. It's a little rough around the edges, where the downtown area begins, but the residential core is chockfull of incredible mansions and charming Victorian residences. Louisville Historic Tours offers the best guided walks of the neighborhood. Architecture tours daily at 11AM and 1PM, and haunted history nightly at 7:30PM. The pedestrian-only areas such as Belgravia Court with its gaslights going 24 hours a day are some of the most beautiful public spaces I have seen in the country.

Spent some time driving and looking at the beautiful historic area. We read about it before going as there current isn’t a tour company that is catering to the mobility challenged. We went by the witch’s tree, the lamplighter, and the gorgeous fountain just to name a few items on our list. I would say that if you’re looking at an afternoon out, it’s very serene.

Not as good as I thought. No a lot of place to go, but the buildings are nice.

Just took the ghost of Old Louisville with David Domine of Louisville Historic Tours last evening. Had a great time! The tour was amazing! We stopped by the Witches Tree, the First Church of Christ Scientist, the fountain at St. James square, and a few other places. David is knowledge and personable while the tour is interesting and spooky! Highly recommend!

This area was so beautiful! The fall leaves and the details in the architecture of these homes were breathtaking! If you visit Louisville, you must come and visit and stroll the streets of this gorgeous neighborhood! The fountain is simply stunning!

This is an absolute must in Louisville. Stroll through this lovely neighbourhood and enjoy all the massive old buildings. It's very green and quite here as well. What blew my mind are the street lamps that are lit by actual fire.

Old Louisville is a must-see when coming to this city. Historic buildings displaying architecture, you won't see many other places. It's as if time is standing still in this neighborhood. You can park and walk along admiring the many homes in this community without paying. Plenty of places along the way to stop for a bite to eat or drink along the way.

If you have time, you absolutely must drive up and down the streets of old Louisville. Some may find it a waste of time and others will find the architecture to be intriguing and awe-inspiring.

Lovely architectural specimens and most well cared for. Beautiful drive through Old Town. Glad Louisville poured some money/interest into the area.

Historic Parts of old Louisville are kind of rough, but take a walk down Third Street, and see the homes. I took a bike ride and almost ended up at U L. They are in Excellent condition. Then there are also the ones on in Belgravia Court. They remind you what Old Louisville is all about.

👍👍 The belle of Louisville is a marvelous place. Not only is it a good place to learn a little about the Ohio river and the rest of the history of the city, but the boat is beautiful and their gift shop has plenty of things in it that are priced fairly for memories and fun.
