Cheap drinks / food - friendly bartender - trivia night was fun!

Pizza joint in disguise! It's a friendly little bar with a handfull of pool tables, a pair of Golden Tee machines and a shuffleboard table. The beer is ice cold and the pizza is outstanding! This is not bar pizza. Actually some of the best pizza I've had in Louisville.

Weeks ago I visited this place for the first time live music and good food it was a great environment. They were a little short-handed that's the only reason that I didn't really like it at the time. Because they had one bartender and she was running around busy the whole time because she didn't have any help. But overall it's a great place for live music and really good foods.

Really like this place. Drinks are quite reasonably poured for the price. They do have pretty decent bar food. The bartenders are friendly and they have quite a few regularly scheduled events in the evenings.

Beers were cold and the vibe was good. Not to expensive either. Fun bar to drink at. I look forward to returning.

Wonderful place to go. The people make feel at home and really nice. Bartender's are very courteous and respectful. To all their customers. The owners are great people plus they also serve excellent food. It's a great place to go and enjoy yourself. They have bands on Friday and Saturday nights also. It just a great place to go and get away for awhile and enjoy yourself and the people around you.

Feels like a more welcoming place than I was expecting, and that is a very good thing!! Just a local bar where people are nice to each other. I've been there a few times now on weekdays, from 5pm to 10pm. People smile at ALL the people! The pizza is just freaking good! Limited draft choices but that's just me being picky. They've got a couple pool tables. Trivia on Tuesday night was a fun crowd but still had room for more people.

I had a great time and loved the live music. Keep up the great work.

Thirsty Hound is definitely a local watering hole that caters to regulars. There is nothing wrong with that, but it didn't feel like a place where a random customer, such as myself was wanted. The waitress stood and chit chatted with a group of three nearly the entire time that I was there. I went in there to have late lunch, early dinner and wasn't wanting to drink alcohol. No problem, except I definitely didn't fall in order of paying customer and felt ignored at times. My drink was empty more often than not. The food was good for what it is, bar food. I can't hold grudges on what you see is what you get. Price was fair for what it was as well. This place is probably a lot of fun during the peak hours. I am not hating on Thirsty Hound, just not impressed with the service as a potential new local patron.

I play free poker up here, it's a good place for that and it has plenty of tvs for sports if you wanted to watch. Seems like a good place.

Great food, great fun and Honky Tonk Rewind is the best band in Louisville. Period.

Really enjoyed the atmosphere and the band was awesome..wasn't so crowded that you couldn't get around..the people was all ages I plan on being back..my group was out for the evening so we didn't eat food..we had beer and drinks

The place was empty at 6-7p.m. but it was Monday evening.There you can play music through your phone app but they allowed some rediculs vulger( like really nasty) music to be played,3 songs in a row of really explicit music(though kinda funny, not appropriate for even there).

They have great burgers. Pricing is very reasonable on food and drinks. A bit slow on service. No problem parking. They have a lot. Live music.

Excellent place...I almost don't want to tell you about it so it doesn't get swamped in people! It's a shame the live music doesn't start until 9.00, but I understand...it's just a little too late for this overworked body!

Service was the best no wait for drinks, good times with friends. As far as food goes not sure maybe next time I go back.

The band was awesome 🤩 as for the service at the bar, good luck. Thank you to the man that got the bartender s attention after standing there at the bat for 15 mins. Wish the bartender was more aware and diligent to the new customers that are walking in the door. The business looked clean and the pizza was good 😊 thank you

Neighborhood bar/ Grill. Really felt welcome, food was good. Sports on multiple TVs. I'd go back 😊

The bartender is always very polite and attentive. The food is great and portions are generous. I eat here all the time.

The food has always been large portions and great. The employees have always been very friendly. Sadly my husband and I won't be going here any more. We would go here for dinner after he'd get home most nights. Loved this place. Since their cook they had got injured months ago your lucky to get food any more. We've started going other places. It's sad but it is what it is.

Clean, good food and drinks, very reasonably priced! Super fun on Sunday jam nights.

Wow...We have been looking for a place to relax and enjoy ourselves and we stumbled upon this place. We had a great time and everyone was super friendly. We will definitely be back again!

Great local place. Takes a while to get food, but the pizza was pretty good and the drinks were poured strong. All in all a good casual place for a drink.

Nice chill atmosphere and plenty of drinks. They have live music on weekends and it's a good time.

Stopped here on the way home. The food was so delicious for a small place and they were so accommodating and put the bills game on! Definitely try the Buffalo chicken pizza and the taco rolls!!
