    Every time I cave and try this place again, I'm quickly reminded why we agreed to never come back. The salad bar, as an add-on to an entree, is still a whopping $4.99. That's 40% more than Cattleman's salad bar add-on! When I suggested to one of the servers that she let the kitchen staff know the salad bar needed restocking, she said, "Sure—what do you need?" "Lettuce, for starters...." Leaving after our meal, the server passing us up multiple times without even noticing that we were trying to get her attention, we asked for to-go boxes for part of my wife's entree and my baked potato (which wasn't warm enough to melt the butter on it by the end of the meal). We were given one small box. When I asked for another (from a different server—ours never noticed us again until she nearly ran over me standing at the counter to get someone's attention), she politely said, do you need a larger box, or just a second box?" "Larger," I said. She brought the same box we already had. In their defense, the store had a sign out, "Now hiring cooks, days or nights." Small wonder.

    It was the worst experience I have had at a restaurant in years. The board of health should do society a favor and condemn the restaurant. The seafood buffet had not been restocked in over a hour. If you want mashed potatoes, or dried out mac n' cheese this is the place for you. However on the seafood buffet a hour and a half before they close, you will not find shrimp, catfish, or any other seafood item. Btw I was forced on this site to give at least one star.

    Took my son to Frish's today for breakfast. Usually the food is good and the service better, but not today. If it was busy, then I could understand the bad service, but there weren't many people. My eggs were over cooked, bacon was too crispy (came in pieces instead of strips) and didn't get my toast until I had finished my food. Waiter never came back for drink refills. Had to ask another waitress for refill.

    Great service. The manager stop and check to see how we were doing. He let my daughter exchange her meal for something she preferred when she picked something she disliked. The manager ask my son if he wanted dessert. He said he wanted a blizzard from another restaurant and the manager made him a special dessert for free.

    The service was terrible we never got a refill. Mom didn't get all her food. The waiter never came back except to give us the check. When we went to pay for our food the lady at the cash register was very impolite to a elderly woman who was trying to pay for here food. This is the worst experience i've ever had or seen. The food was Also cold.the waiter was staying at one table and he only had 4 table in all.he didn't care about the other tables at all. We will never be back I've always left a tip but the server didn't deserve one. If you want a tip take care of your costumers. Tuesday December 23rd around 2 to 2:30pm

    The food and service were terrible. We walked in about 6:15 there were maybe 4or 5 tables that were occupied and plenty of staff working. There were 3 dirty tables in our section and it took 5 to 10 minutes for someone to even come take our drink order. The hot seafood bar was gross and you could tell the mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese and other items had been out there for a long time. I order a fish sandwich, onion rings and slaw. The onion rings and fish were burnt. Never once did the waitress say anything even when she seen I left my food. I never once seen a manager any where and when I paid at the counter the cashier asked how it was I responded terrible and her attitude was like oh well. Will not go back here again.

    It seemed like we were more of a nuisance than a customer. I heard the waitress say oh it's my turn when we walked in the door and she seemed distracted as did most of the servers. The food was good though the table needed to be cleaned not a big deal a party probably just at the left. My small group did not feel rushed to leave which was good and the waitress so distracted or seeming so did a wonderful job at taking our orders and making sure that we were taken care of but the finer detail of seeming like we were a nuisance is why a three. Also this was on Super Bowl and the place was empty.

    I wish I could say better things. I've got a soft spot for Frisch's. It was one of my first jobs! But it seems like every time we go there for a quick lunch they're understaffed and we wait a long time for the food and refills sometimes never come... Dirty tables everywhere and the wait staff sticking their fingers into the tops of glasses when they clear the table and then going to seat guests and take orders with other people's drink germs all over their hands. Yuck. Sorry, Frisch's. Staff the lunch rush appropriately and teach your servers how to keep their hands clean and we'll be back!

    There was something from the grill on my daughter's pancake and the lettuce in my salad was wilted and browning. Other than that, the experience was fine. My daughter's kids pancake meal was more than enough to fill her up. My son got a big boy sandwich (a coupon from school). He's a small kid but he ate it all as well as some of my daughter's food. The waitress was polite and attentive enough, the restaurant looked clean, and the food came quickly.

    Walked in today around 3:45PM with my family, only three tables seated, but it took more than a while to seat us. Staff watched us walk in, manager was in the office near the front door cutting up with another staff member... We had enough staff notice us, but no one was interested in seating us. The staff member cutting up with manager eventually yells back to the back area that theres someone up front... one of the waitresses that noticed us several times before comes rushing out, no greeting, seemingly irritated, asks how many and what seating we preferred. She seemed REALLY inconvenienced, as if we just ruined her afternoon. We ordered our food and drinks with fair ease. The salad bar needed attention and I did inform staff, but it seemed to be brushed off. Salad was old and wet, bar itself needed a major wipe down. Once we received our order, no regular check ups were attempted. No one showed back up to offer refills either. Food was great and kids enjoyed the overall meal too! Unfortunately the food alone is the only reason this location received two stars. We never received our check so we headed to the front cashiers station where the manager and staff member were still on a roll with their personal conversation. Once again, we waited... the female staff member speaking with the manager looked over at us several times and we continued to wait. Nothing. Finally she speaks up asking if we have a check, nope, we dont. She looks around and asks the manager directly if our waitress already left for the day. Managers response? "Probably, who knows". Once I knew that the manager was aware of her staffs actions, there was no way I was complaining in house. So I came here. I think there may be a need for more training at this location.
