I can’t believe the bad reviews I’ve read about this hospital! The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because of our 10 hour wait in the ER. But since Covid that seems to be the norm at any hospital. Our flight from Baltimore to Dallas was diverted because of my medical emergency and I ended up in Louisville for 2.5 days. The staff could not have been any kinder or more considerate. They went out of their was to accommodate us and take care of me. They even took great care of my worried husband! I have the highest praise for the nurses and aides on 4 east! Plus the food was very good! When it was time to be discharged, it was done in a very quick and timely manner so that we could catch a 12:30 flight to Dallas. They even arranged a taxi to the airport and gave us a voucher so we didn’t have to pay! Now I don’t know if this royal treatment is the norm but I have a feeling that it is. I can tell you for sure that this kind of service and care would not happen in a Baltimore hospital!

For over a month and a half, I've been having breathing problems. I've been to immediate care centers, talked with doctors online, and finally since I couldn't handle the pain anymore, I finally decided to go here. Waited over 4 hours in the waiting room, than waited an additional 7 hours for them to do cat scans and some more blood work. For the amount of time I was there I had asked over and over if I could have something for my headache. I couldn't bare the pain anymore and the doctor kept telling me yeah. She never once placed the order for me to get something for the pain. I was in tears and nobody seem to care! I had asked them to not turn on the lights so bright due to my eyes being sensitive and was making my headaches worse but unfortunately, that didn't get to happen. Most of the nurses and other staff members were amazing but the doctor Dr. Shannon Becht; herself was horrible! When I would ask a question, she would cut me off and when I tried to ask her questions about my diagnosis, she told me she isn't a lung doctor. I felt like she was very rude and unprofessional. I know if I was in a life or death situation, I definitely wouldn't be going here.

The worst experience of my life in the three years I have been in this great country. I went with my mother-in-law with her blood pressure at 200 with 100. They checked her, took her blood and sent us to the waiting room at 9 pm and my mother-in-law had 240 with 136 palpitations and no medication, not even the doctor or doctor does not show up, I have never had such a bad experience in a hospital here.

tldr: you’re better off dying than trying to get any help from this terrible hospital I spent an entire night there drifting in and out of consciousness while the nurses told me they knew exactly what was wrong with me and all that they could do for me was give me an IV and let me rest. They also spent the whole night telling me they were waiting for a doctor that would be there at any moment. However, when I asked if i could leave the next morning having still seen no doctor they told me I couldn’t. I left anyways and a year later they sent a debt collected after me and are making me pay them $200 for services they never gave to me. If you are seriously injured and this is the closest hospital you have better odds on your own.

I brought my wife to the ER after being at a doctors appointment on campus . The dr. was concerned about high heart rate . We arrived at 2:00 pm and received triage within 15 minutes. Blood work, EKG and X-rays . Then approximately 7 hours later we got call back for another EKG . It is now 11:00 pm and we are still in waiting room with no results . My wife has been very sick and we have been to this hospital multiple times in the last few months . We have followed up with all recommendations with the doctors they suggested . We still have no answers . Now we feel like we have been flagged ( as one of those) . Believe me we are not here for any other reason than to get my wife well .If it wasn’t for her Oncologist being with this group we would definitely not be at another Norton’s facility . Still looking for help ! Jeff Paul

My fiancé came into emergency room with severe left arm pain associated with chest pain and a large what we think to be hernia. He’s in great pain and the staff was very impersonal and extremely rude. We waited 4 hours before I complained to house supervisor. Went through tremendous difficulties trying to get proper care and to be listened to. The triage staff are very into their own selves and not the hospital where patients are treated with compassion and understanding that they’re here because of pain and fear. I will not ever come back! I’ve been to many hospitals due to my rare disease called Pompe and I have NEVER been to one as bad as Audubon Hospital in Louisville, Ky. Also, cigarette butt on floor and a dirty mask. We were not the only people concerned about a loved one complaining about the time waited and being belittled and made to feel unimportant! Absolutely the worst hospital ever!

I fainted on Christmas and had such an awful experience at this hospital. It was Christmas so being there for 5 hours isn't that huge of a deal, I'm sure they were short staffed. Some of the staff was so condescending, one of them kept mentioning how he was called in and unhappy about it. That same person was watching a movie on his tablet as he was going through my registration process. I was asked immediately to give a urine sample and leave it in this bin on the front counter, which was lost and never sent to be tested. I had to give another urine sample later. The nurse Aubrey was very rough with me and ripped my IV out. He also threw a vial of my blood in the trash can and got another vial later, I have no clue why that vial was tossed. And mistakes happen but after checking my EKG the doctor told me that I had damage to my heart and that I would have to stay overnight only to come back a few minutes later and tell me that everything was actually fine. Before leaving they told me to follow up with a PCP, when I told them I didn't have a PCP they did not give me a referral. I will be taking the drive out to St. Matthews from now on if I ever have an emergency.

Worst customer service ever. People talk down to you and don't care about your health problems. Thought getting treated this way was a one off but today was the icing on the cake. Woman at the desk quite literally sent me into a full on panic attack. I'll never return here again. I've instructed my wife if I have a heart attack or stroke to take me to any other Healthcare facility in Louisville. A Dentist office would suffice over Audubon. If you couldn't tell I do not recommend.

I brought my grandmother to the ER and am so grateful for the care she received. Her Nurse (Brittany W.) was so attentive and very kind. The ER Dr. (I wish I could remember her name, I'm very tired and scatterbrained) was also very kind, attentive and informative. We overheard some people complaining about wait times - they were extremely busy but I can assure you I saw every staff member actively working as quickly as possible; some things are beyond their control and this includes wait times when they have an overwhelming patient load being brought in by ambulances and walking in. Despite how busy they were, my grandmother still received thoughtful and thorough care, and I'm so appreciative as she is very ill. It really helped ease my worry and stress seeing her being well cared for.

The worst hospital in Louisville Kentucky. Me and my wife was in the emergency room for over two hours. And was not getting any help from anyone, my wife was having pain in her stomach and had tummers and in the process of waiting a gentleman got enraged and started yelling at me and I yelled back. The security officer was very rude and racist. Even tho my wife was in excruciating pain they walked us out because I raised my voice. And because I was not leaving fast enough they called the police. I am very disappointed in the way things were handled and will never be returning to this hospital. We left Audubon hospital and went to Baptist East and was in a room in a matter of twenty to thirty minutes. Please beware of this hospital. They do not care for there patients.

If I could give negative stars I would. Disgusting place. Unprofessional , rude and a complete joke. Treated my husband like an animal. Violated his HIPAA rights. I have never witnessed anything like it. From the moment we walked into the ER until he was discharged. Disgraceful.

Please take all bad reviews for this hospital SERIOUSLY, they meant it. Please don't leave any of your elderly relatives at this hospital alone. I have the worst experience ever with elderly mother hospitalization, medical services were good, but ambulance transportation and room services were fatal. It took them 3 days to transport my mother back home after discharge with a lot of irrational excuses. That is unacceptable in any ground. They were informed several times she only eat pure and every day she was ordered regular meals, meaning she was only fed with pudin and liquids when I was there. This hospital might be only good for people who can defend themselves!!!!!

So I ran to the ER on 9/6/22 due to chest pressure and other symptoms. I was freaking out because I knew how I was feeling was not normal. I got there got my BP taken it was in triple digit top and bottom. My chest pain/pressure was just getting worse. They sent me to get a EKG blood work and told me to go back out to the waiting room. Go registered 1 hr later than finally went back for my chest x-ray. Well I would think that meant not to long I would be back to see the doctor. Time went on and I had to keep telling them my chest pain is worsening and I started having difficulty swallowing. They asked if I ever had acid reflux? I am like I know the difference between my problem now and acid reflux and this wasn't no acid reflux. Time went people coming and out that was there after me. I was still in pain not as bad but it still was there. So I will say I say about 9 hrs in the waiting area with chest pain and high BP and nothing. I finally just left and came home and suffered. I am still in pain and I got chest x-ray back and It came back saying something was increasing so now I'm really freaked out. Worst hospital ever. Just expect to wait even if you feel like your dying.

Now I've been informed it is my EKG and they just didn't inform.me cause they busy. Please don't go there ., I've been told by Norton that my EKG in Emergency room were normal. Then why 2 cardiologist interpret abnormal with left atrium enlarged, recent anterior infarct and electrical problems? Someone else's test results in MyChart. Meanwhile still worried because no response. The Emergency Room is irresponsible and lacks educated staff. If you care about your health go somewhere anywhere else. I found out 6 months after visit I had heart attack, electrical issues and enlarged heart. Wasn't posted till 5 months later and Doctor said everything was fine when I left. Wonder what they think is important? They also missed in May, but I did not have heart attack yet.. They are negligent and have effected my life forever. Don't let them do that to you. When I said something they just shrugged shoulders and said whoops we aren't perfect and walked away.

Worse hospital ever , the emergency staff department is very nasty in the front, the security is more helpful then them. Never spent so much time sitting and waiting while a patient throwing up everywhere in the lobby. Everyone seem mad and upset until we got back in the room and seen the RN name Izzy she was very nice and open minded to help us and treated us like she cared. She also check on my son the whole entire time until he felt comfortable and stop vomiting I usually go to Dutchman suburban hospital I guess this is what I get .

Absolutely the worst experience ever. My spouse was brought in by ambulance with what they deemed a “critical” health issue and we are still in the waiting room 12 hours later. Zero communication about anything. They will literally tell you that they can’t tell you anything. Not even an estimated wait time after you have been waiting for 12 hours. Other hospitals in Louisville provide estimated wait times. Why is it that you can’t provided estimated wait times after being triaged? Zero efficiency here. The past couple of times we have been here we have waited a minimum of 8 hours to be seen.

This place is unpleasant, and I eagerly anticipate relocating my husband from here. I would have rated it 0 stars. They employ non-certified technicians to connect patients to machines when it should be the nurses' responsibility. The staff is impolite, and they often treat you as if you're ignorant. A simple "good morning" would be a nice gesture. Their employees need better training. I believe taking him to DaVita would be a wiser choice.

My mother was having HEART complications and needed medical treatment to see if she was leading up to a heart attack. Her blood pressure was in the 200’s and everything. Even though this was an urgent matter and Audubon hospital claims to be the heart specialist in the area, what we experienced was far from that. We sat in the ER waiting room for 10 hrs with no end in sight before my mother decided to leave. Many others had been there longer and had gotten up to leave as well after ripping out their IVs. There wasn’t even that many people in the waiting room. There were maybe 25 people tops and it was the same ones all night waiting. The ER room was absolutely filthy. There were vomit bags on the floor full of puke left lying around from people earlier in the day, food and drinks everywhere on tables and on the floors, gnats flying around and more. Also bc my mother is a diabetic this long wait without eating due to testing she should have been getting, this made her very weak and messed up all of the things she must monitor with her normal medication. Their lack of providing health care put her in an even more serious predicament on top of what she was already experiencing with what we believed to be her possibly having a heart attack on the way there. I would not recommend anyone going to this hospital for any treatment bc you’ll never receive it. No matter how serious the issue is.

I went to your ER due to nonstop vomiting for two days and could not swallow. I was seen, had vitals taken, blood work and an IV cath was put in. I was told the Dr would see me shortly. I sat in that ER waiting room for over 7 hours vomiting into a bag w/o being seen. I finally went up to the desk, had the IV taken out and left. I will never go back!

I have to say that this place is a disgrace. Mom had a appointment 12/29 at 10:30 to have a stent removed today 12/30 she still lays in the ER they have ran every possible test on her and nothing has came back bad. Cause they guessing heart problems but can't find nothing. They have not fed her all-day you ask they always have an excuse all about making money here and heck with their patients. I understand people have good deals with this place but I've seen first hand how rude and disrespectful they are .

Came to the ER around 8:15 on 12-1-23 with my daughter as her father was brought in via ambulance after requiring CPR. Went to ask the triage nurse if he knew if he had arrived to the ER he rudely said I don’t know and I’m helping others and you will have to wait. So I left the triage area and went outside to the ambulance ER entrance and talked to a nurse at that desk and she kindly took the time to assist me and told me that he had been brought in and was getting a CT scan. She told me to go to the security desk to get a pass so we could go back and wait in his room. When I went to the security desk and told her what the nurse said she was rude and nasty and told me she would not give us a pass until he was assigned a room. I told her that the nurse gave us the room he was in but she told us to go sit down and wait. The nurse came about 2-3 minutes later looking for us to let us back and made the security guard give us our passes. The customer service when you walk into the ER is horrible and non existent. People come to the ER because they need medical assistance, having family members in trauma situations or maybe dealing with a death. A little compassion and kindness can go a long way. I would not recommend this hospital and it hurts my heart that customers have to deal with this type of offensive behavior in their time of need.

Worse hospital ever I use to like them my son light had been blinking for 15 minutes nobody has come Madeline nasty rude nurse this is ridiculous. My son’s actual nurse still hasn’t come and she’s lazy. Never again will I come back here. If y’all don’t want to do y’all job why did you apply to be a nurse?? What makes it even worse other nurses walking by his door wide open not one person has ask “can I help you” Wish I could have it no stars. This is the ER department room 10 I’m typing and yet the light is still blinking no one has come in here!

Thought my husbands blood pressure was reading too high at 180/118. Took to ER... waited 9 hours and still was not seen. Had to leave.. didnt want to but felt was never going to get seen. Then look down ER hallway to see people in beds lined up the hallway walls. Even if he would have been seen, they would have never had a room available. They wanna build a new parkin lot?? Really? Yall should be building more rooms to help people and not leave anyone in a waiting room for 9 hours. No one should have to wait that long, no matter what! 9 hours is just ridiculous! Just very sad on thier part. They could have at least told us 4 hours in.. but they just let you sit and wait. Just shows how much they really care!

I absolutely Love this hospital! They have been so Awesome with my father, who became ill 3 years ago. He went to get rehabilitated after having heart valve replacement, at a nursing home called park terrace. Long story Short, the nursing home ignored his cries for help, and he ended up with sepsis, where his health declined tremendously soon after that. Anyway my dad has been in and out of Audubon hospital ever since for the passed 3 years, and each and every time, they are amazing with him. They are clearly compassionate with all of their patients, and want absolutely nothing but the best of care they can give you. This hospital Will always be my recommendation to anyone who might have a loved one needing to go to a hospital, for what ever reason.

This is my second time visiting this Hospital for imaging services related to my thyroid. I was completely floored by the professionalism and caring the staff from the 1st person I contacted at the Main Registration to Ultra Sound Imaging staff. My appointment was for 11:00, I was seen at 10:55 and finished at 11:03. The results were read and posted by 11:41 on Norton My Charts for my review, I have be a Patient of the VA for 8 years and never have I had results posted so quickly. My personal experience with Norton Hospital has been nothing but impressive.

I came in with labored and extremely painful breathing. Blood pressure at 196/138. The only person in the lobby with any signs of extreme pain and it is occurring with EVERY single breath. It is now 5 AM and I have been here for 3 hours and haven't seen a doctor. This was my first visit and it 100% for sure will be my last. The nurses are friendly but that doesn't matter when you feel like you are dying.

Terrible to leave a partial paralyzed patient sent from dr for probable c diff in a public waiting room using public bathrooms to clean up accidents for 6 hours! Getting to a room was no better. No communication unless we initiated it. Took three hours and several reminders to get a bedside commode so we could get a stool sample. Apologies for the c diff outbreak you all are sure to have based on my experience. It would be a great place to build a hospital though.

Do NOT go here! Currently sitting in the ER waiting room for 10+ hours with an urgent need all over, people in need of fluids and sitting here with blood clots and just getting the run around. Been through 2 shift changes and no one seems to know what's going on. I'm beyond frustrated and very hungry and thirsty but half the vending machines dont even work and to make things even better about 95% of the staff are extremely rude

ER was great! The 3rd fl was the worse medical care I've ever seen. My friend spent a week there getting worse. He had 2 gashes on his leg he didn't have before. His leg & foot became giant & red! As far as I know they only gave him cream to rub on it. After a week of them sucking his fluids out trying to deflate his leg, it never happened. With his eyes sunken in, most likely dehydrated, they just sent him home. No info or antibiotics for his leg, no info how to do his life vest he had on & no info on anything, so today, less than 48 hours later, he's back in another ER. Never again will I ever send anyone I love to that hospital. The ER is wonderful. I can't say that about the rest. It used to be a great hospital when my mom was always there, but not anymore.

Been sitting in the E.R waiting room for 6 hours with a iv stuck in my arm without any treatment. I'm literally watching people with oxygen tanks, broken bones, etc without treatment or medication. Ive puked over 4 times sitting here and wasn't even offered a paper towel. I asked for a cold towel and never received it he just walked off. I would think with being in a bigger state with multiple of hospitals they would move faster. People who came behind me are being seen before me. I don't recommend this hospital to anyone. You will die waiting. You'd freeze to death, starve to death, or die from your complications.

The reviews of the unbelievably long waits, apathy, and uncoordinated 'care' have also happened to us multiple times and had put us off ever returning there again. However, I ended up by ambulance in their ER with a cardiac issue this past week. At first, the doctor was being snarky and making assumptions. I point blank asked her if I was just marked for extermination or what, because maybe I should end it all and save us both a lot of time. At that point she stopped being rude and everything changed very swiftly. I was admitted and then transferred to the 5th floor, where I also received excellent care; shout out to Katie and Antoinette and everyone else on the unit, the best nurses ever, APRN Melanie and Dr. Daniel Rothschild, the awesome cardiologist team with such patience, and Dr. Davis who finally seemed to believe I was struggling to breathe and helped put everything together in the end. I have a new group of doctors, a plan and I'm finally able to get out of the U of L 'system.' It took me over two years to get anyone to understand what was happening. Thank you, looking forward to FINALLY getting well at Norton Audubon. I hope my care continues to receive 5 stars - I really need quality care. We all do. I will say, as a chef and a diabetic/cardiac patient, however, that their nutrition services are a disaster. There is not proper regard for sugars, carbs, and sodium-laden items being included on trays that have no business having them. If I had my way, I'd change the world of hospital food to be be fresh and of superior quality, as well as make sense for patients' nutritional needs and restrictions, but that's me. If anyone wants a truly BAD Hospital French Toast Recipe, I'm pretty sure I can nail the one from there - especially if you have equipment like an Asphalt Steamroller and a too hot oven, hit me up. LOL

Brought my girlfriend there Friday. It's Sunday and all she has been giving to eat is 2 Turkey sandwiches, and that wasnt yntil i raised hell at around 3 pm Saturday. If I hadn't of brought outside food she would not have went over 24 hrs with no food. She's on no restriction. The nurse stuck her 7 timed before she hit the vien. What a joke! They won't bring you a blanket, ice, drinks or anything else. They sct like you are putting them out if you ask for anything. We will NEVER be back. If she fails her stress test Today I will take her out of there and bring her somewhere else. I've never seen nothing like this. I would like to talk to someone. I don't know how to direct message in here. Don't bring your love ones to this hospital! She's on the 5th floor. Worse staff ever! Worse hospital EVER! Well I called to talk to someone and the operated was not pleasant and talked down to me. I didn't get nothing but a voice mail. I can't state it enough, this Hospital SUCKS DO NOT GO HERE EVER!

Sat in the emergency room for a CT scan (from 7:00 pm - 11:30 pm on a Thursday). When asking the check/in clerk, I found out, 4.5 hours later, that the order had not been given to the CT Department. No one asked why we were waiting so long in the emergency room and it took ME to ask why we were still waiting. It was totally crowded so I just thought they were really busy. This has happened to me before to where it took me (AGAIN) to ask about my husband who was in surgery and in recovery finding out they forgot me in the waiting area to tell me to come back to see him. His surgery was in the morning and we left at dark. Audubon used to be outstanding. It is now SUB-PAR. I’ll think twice before coming here again.

They will make you wait 4-5 hours in lobby for ER on a Monday. Then put you in a room with no bed but an uncomfortable chair. You wait another 1-2 hours to see a doctor. Then you wait another 1-2 hours to take an CT scan and another 2 hours to wait for the results. You will spend your entire day here and they don’t care. I was here for over 10 hours never come here it’s a waste of time

Do not I repeat do not go here I went here as it’s the closest hospital to me and I went sat there waiting on a stretcher with the amazing paramedics for god knows how long just for a room second time same thing waited for a crazy amount of time with paramedics after a for a room the third time I went for my ankle after falling down some stairs I come in I can’t even walk I’m screaming in pain it hurts crazy so the doctors comes to see me and after the doctor seen me and he says he will get me something for the pain I sat there for almost an hour waiting for the pain medicine mind you I’m still screaming cause it hurts so bad finally nurse comes in to give the medicine no speaking didn’t tell me nothing didn’t say what he was giving me just handed me two pills and left which is horrible bed side manner doctor comes back says I have a mild to severe sprain mind you he took an x-ray. After I was discharged nothing really explained gave crutches and told I could leave mind you they are putting someone who was just there for having a seizure on crutches and trying to get them to hop all the way to the door it was so bad I’m almost crying I keep having to stop and every doctor and nurse in there is just sitting there staring at me not asking hey do you need a wheelchair to get to your car just stared at me it took my fiancé going up to one of them telling them I need a wheelchair cause I can’t do crutches across the whole hospital to get out for them to get me one, so the doctor says after 24 hours start walking tried couldn’t bare weight so I go to orthopedics who took an x-ray of course I’m sitting here thinking it’s just a severe sprain but the swelling is horrible worse than it was at the hospital too, the air cast this hospital gave me was cutting off circulation to my toes and I just needed a boot turns out they don’t know how to read an x-ray or take it one of the two because I had fractured one bone bruised another damaged my cartilage had a swelled up tendon and excessive fluid build up all that and I was told just a sprain from here orthopedic doctor was surprised they could not see it cause it was clear as day on their x-ray and the swelling was worse than at the hospital so I sat there tried to walk on a fractured foot because they don’t know how to do their jobs couldn’t walk on it but still I tried so if you need a hospital go to university of Louisville or Baptist do not go here this could have been worse and go untreated and left damage had I and my fiancé not went and got a second opinion. The bedside manner here is horrible and honestly made me feel horrible they treated me like I was some druggy because I’m screaming in pain and obviously can’t do their jobs right because obviously I’m going to be in a lot of pain its fractured a long with everything else. It’s so sad to see the nurses bed side manner because I’m currently in college to become a nurse and seeing that hurts knowing I was judged the moment I came in and basically not believed of my physical pain that I was in. It’s ridiculous how the staff treats patients. To sit here and dismiss a patient especially if they tell you something regarding their health is not okay but also not my first time with their doctors doing that.

My daughter had emergency appendicitis surgery yesterday and they were absolutely amazing! They treated her with such care and I am so glad we came there. I am so pleased with our surgeon too. He was so caring and informative. 10 out of 10!

My fella is still currently a patient, he has been here in the ICU for 4 days now. As a patient, he is being very well cared for! Everyone in ICU and third floor have been extremely helpful, kind and knowledgeable! As for being a "visitor"... my #1 issue has been with the parking. I see that one of the lot is closed so that makes the rest of the parking very limited for us. Yes, there is a parking structure, that's a very long walk for an older or handicap person. Again, yes, there is a shuttle service but, the three times I have parked there, I have not seen the shuttle service one time. As far as the parking lot underneath the ICU, employees should NOT BE ALLOWED TO PARK THERE, nor should there be valet parking spots there. Make your parking attendance make that long haul to the parking structure. #2 issue is with food choices and prices of limited choices. Come on, you can do better in the food department, and I think you know that. As far as the coffee that you have to offer, I think I would rather drink water out of the dirty Ohio River! At a later time, I will update this review about the rest of the time we are here.

First time ever going to this ER and i probably would never wanna go back i get the wait times cause the one in Dutchman’s you will wait hours which idk if their understaffed and that’s why but at the one in Dutchman’s they call people back as much a possible unlike here i saw everyone still waiting since i walked in .. also some girl upfront i ask her something and she seem annoyed by my question like i only went here because someone recommended me but i think i rather wait at Dutchman’s next time .. i would say healthcare has gotten to a point that you’re better off taking care of yourself at home or die at home .😀

I came through the emergency room due to a car accident in may 10, 2022 and from that point my experience with this hospital and staff has been phenomenal . I had surgery performed my Dr. Carl Kihm he repaired shattered ankle and foot and performed a miracle, his professional and excellent care guided me through my surgery with ease and confidence. Every one is so nice and professional and handled me with extreme care. Hands down the best hospital I’ve been to. Thank you so much

I returned a call to an unknown number because they called me and hung up. I was nice and gave my name asking if they were trying to get a hold of me, because I thought it was my car mechanic that I literally just talked to. They lady on the phone was so rude and nasty stating I haven't called anyone I'm at the front desk. I said I'm sorry where did I call? She said Ma'am I do not know who you are or what you want? I again apologized and asked where I was calling because she never said even when she answered. She said this is the Audubon front desk as she quickly hung up on me. I hope your front desk angel doesn't treat patients this way or their family who may be trying to look for them. It definitely made me think twice about returning calls to unknown numbers without looking them up first.

I was calling from another state to get information about a loved one. The nurses team were fundamental for me to get updates about the situation happening in that moment. I deeply appreciate all the help and attention I received. They were soo compassionate with me. God bless them all, even the few bad apples I had to talk to.

My nurse Andrea was so kind and her advocacy for me was amazing. I broke my leg and ankle yesterday and everyone in the ER was very kind and helped ease my anxiety. No ER is perfect and you’re gonna have to wait because hospitals are short staffed. I really appreciate the level of care I was given by every single person that worked with me from the EMT to the nurse, the physicians assistant, the xray techs, the person doing my splint, reception, everyone was just very kind and that makes a difference big time. 4 stars for sending my prescription to the wrong pharmacy.

My husband spent 5 days in the ICU here and we were so thankful for the sweet, thoughtful, and encouraging care he received from every single nurse. They made a huge difference for us in a very scary time. I have a whole new appreciation for these wonderful heros. God bless you and the service you give every day!

I had a new nurse in triage stick me with an iv so far up my arm right in middle of where my arm is suppose to bend. It gutted so bad till the point I was boohoo crying and my hand was turning purple! As soon as I asked the nurse to take it out with tears in my eyes I regain color back into my arm. When I finally got called to go back another more seasoned nurse gave me a iv and it was fine! But my other problem is the lack of concern and compassion from the staff. I hate going to the hospital especially the er because I don’t feel like they care and be treated with disregard.. especially as a black woman. I originally came in for chest pain. So yea. Norton Audubon is a no for me.

They saved my life. Prompt attention, compassionate care, rapid diagnosis. The ER, CT surgery team, neurology, ICU are all world class at what they do. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

I’ve been in and out of this hospital four times since Christmas. The last time was from 2/28/23 - 3/9/23. I was very well cared for. I had one of the best nurses possible. Her name is Trina Postell. She took very good care of me as if I was one of her family members. Thank you Trina from the bottom of my heart. ❤️

Well my family member went there to the ER with a serious isssue and sat for 4 hours with being seen. They could not sit with the issue they were having and they have serious physical issues that prevent long term sittng (failed spinal surgery. This is completely unexceptable. They are nearly 75 years old.

I had never been to the ER before, but I was experiencing extreme discomfort. I should have waited it out to see a specialist. The cost of my visit was way too high (5 months rent) and I could have used that money to go toward surgery and other bills. All I received was a diagnostic ultrasound that I could have gotten from a doctor for much less! I'm extremely pissed b/c when you check in no one can provide you with an estimation of service cost and it's not like you can cancel your visit (past a certain point).

Shout out to the surgery staff along with the 4 west staff! They have gone above and beyond for us. They provided hourly updates on the surgery day along with constant care on the floor. One of the managers of the nursing staff on 4 even introduced herself asking if the staff has been meeting all our needs to the nurse's aide who offered to sit with my mom while I went to grab lunch. Highly recommend. Thank you

currently as of now i’ve been waiting 5 hours to get out in a room, i here for possible concussion and the front staff don’t seem to care. I’ve been in and out of consciousness the past hours and they do not care, my head hurts so much, i’m slurring my words and speaking slow and i’m still not in a room. I wish I hadn’t come here please do not go to this hospital!

I'm here with my 84 year old brother in law. He was sent here via ambulance, arrival at three p.m. It is now 10:45 p.m. His PCP phoned the ER advising of his debilitating condition. Sitting here in E.R. his oxygen dropped to 86. They did bring a tank for him. It's ten forty five!!! Where is the concern. Cold day in hell before I bring my loved ones here. Please feel free to contact me, you have all my information. Shame on your boasting accolades on your walls? UPDATE. It was 2:30 a.m. before they finally took him back to an exam room. I had pleaded with someone, anyone to help. Evidently there was no "charge nurse" in charge. No one took responsibility for this chaos. There were some workers who appeared to be ashamed and saddened at the circumstances in the ER. It is a sad day for the honorary medical professionals at this hospital.

😠 I unfortunately tested positive for COVID, and two days later found myself with serious chest pains and shortness of breath. Upon arriving the receptionist at the front desk rolled her eyes at me and scoffed when I told her why I was there. She then put on a mask. (She wasn’t wearing one prior, I wa...

😠 This is the filthiest hospital I have ever seen. The floors haven’t been cleaned in weeks. The counters where medical equipment is used are so dirty they have a film over them with streaks.
