If I could give a zero, I would. When I drove, every morning I would get a coffee and hash-brown or oatmeal. Recently, I’ve been on the bus. Before I got the bus, on two separate occasions, I went to the widow to get a coffee. The staff waved me away, saying “ we’re closed”. Google says open 24 hours drive through. Alright, I try the drive through, no one would come on the speaker to take my order. It’s sooo ironic, the next morning( at the same time as me) a white woman gets on at my stop ( outside McDonald’s) with a hot breakfast smelling good and fresh. Hmmm, why did they serve her but not me. Especially, since I’m a returning daily customer???? I even called and explained the situation. The women kept said, they would have helped me at the window. I told her how her staff said they were closed. She spoke to me like she didn’t believe me. I want to THANK this location for treating me less than, as a regular customer, showing your prejudice, and covering up your actions. I thank you because your lack of service, helped me to find Dunkin Donuts. At my 2nd bus, they are open with smiling faces and quick service. The food and coffee are fresh with the same price as McDonald’s .

Worst McDonald's ever! Rude staff, including the managers. Why does it take 14 minutes to get a combo meal? Because the employees were socializing! And then my order is wrong!!! So I'm done. Wendy's is 2 minutes away. They are usually friendly and have NEVER messed up my order. And in my opinion it's better, and the frosty machine is ALWAYS working. McDonald's corporate needs to work on this location. You did a nice remodel, but that doesn't make up for the rude, unprofessional employees who dish out incorrect orders, and could care less. What a joke!!!!

I asked for coffee and the guy said they didn’t have any left. This doesn’t make sense to me. The guy told me they ran out at 7am in the morning. Will refrain from doing business with them bc why just not make the coffee?! It appears people in this establishment don’t want to work.

Avid this location in the mornings! I was picking up a DoorDash delivery and needed to use restroom but Sean, the guy working the counter wouldn't give me the key because I didn't make a purchase and said Door Dash drivers delivering food bought from their restaurant didn't qualify. Plus he was very rude about it and wouldn't hand me the order even though it was ready and he wasn't doing anything else so the real customer had to wait and get cold food.

As I was inside getting my food the manager Alexis was in the parking lot yelling at my girlfriend that she could not park in their parking lot. After I walked out she asked if I was with her, to which I replied yes. She then tells the owner Matt on the phone that my girlfriend was being mouthy with her. Which even if she was, why was the manager yelling at a customer that they can not park in their lot? That is extremely rude and unprofessional on the managers part and to then insult her after I confirmed I was a customer is unacceptable. I just want everyone to know do not give this location your buisness because they have no professionalism whatsoever and will yell at you to not park in their parking lot when you are a customer. The best part of it all is, the parking lot had about 4 other cars in it. I have video I will be submitting to corporate as well.

Easily the worst McDonald's in Louisville. You never know how long it's going to take, or if they'll have ice cream. The crowd can be obnoxious and rough during the weekends especially. And the food might come out cold, depending on who's working. Super inconsistent and strange location.

I went for breakfast and was given a cinnamon roll at the drive thru around 10am with a "use by 8:06" sticker on it. Disgusting.

This is the WORST Mc.D I've ever been to. Ive seen them go from manager to manager b.c the store is such a joke it's falling apart. My food.is either always wrong or never hot. The employees are rude most of the time but here lately I've met some new people so it makes the vibe better. But point being when it comes to thinking about getting Mc.D I would look on the maps and see what the next closes one is and keep it moving until you get there. ALSO BEWARE--- Even if it says online that the drive thru is open it's happened to me twice I did a curbside order online went there to pick it up. And found it they was closed even tho their suppose to be 24 hrs my money came off my card I never got my food. I had to call the next morning so they could refund it. Took me both times to get my money back over a week.

I would have given 5 stars. They have been doing a much better job lately. However, I did have a couple of issues. I have been getting 3 mobile orders in the drive thru and suddenly that is not allowed. I have a bad leg and can't go in to get the food. When I went there yesterday, they gave me sweet tea instead of half cut, which I reminded them twice at the window, and forgot my apple pie. Other than these 2 issues, they have been doing much better lately.

I had a great experience at this McDonald’s. The drive-through was impressively fast, and the staff was exceptionally friendly. The food I ordered was not only delicious but also notably fresh. What pleasantly surprised me was the complimentary Wi-Fi. Last week, I needed to complete some work in your parking lot, and your Wi-Fi proved to be quick and reliable. It was a refreshing change from the often spotty Wi-Fi at other McDonald’s locations I’ve visited. Thanks for providing such a convenient and enjoyable experience!

I started ordering breakfast at the drive through, and immediately got yelled at from the other side--"WE DON'T HAVE THAT! NAW, somebody else tried to order that, WE DON'T HAVE THAT.....what is it?" Me: 🤔 "An Egg White Delite? It's egg whites on an English muffin and..." "WE DON'T HAVE THAT!" [I hadn't been to a McDonald's for about 3 years, because last time they didn't have coffee. In the morning. The funniest part is that I'd done a quick search before pulling in this time to make sure they still carried the only other item I'm interested in, and saw that they did--but whatever I glanced at was incorrect, because they definitely DON'T HAVE THAT! 😁]

Very disappointing disrespectful service. This place needs all new team members. The young lady on the speaker spoke with such disgust in her voice. I would like the owners to contact me in turning this place around. I would love to help out in bringing the customer service skills up to par.

Drive-thru experience (Bardstown Road/Highlands) was HORRIBLE! Extremely SLOW...only ONE vehicle ahead of me when I pulled in. When I FINALLY got to the window I was "pulled" for a MOCHA... totaling 30 minutes 🤬. Extremely POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. McDonalds PLEASE send your employees to Chick-Fil-A Professional Development Training. Despite staffing shortages and a global pandemic...they manage to get it RIGHT EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. What's your excuse??!!!

This is probably the worst experience at McDonald's that I've ever had. I'm pretty sure that the other 10 cars in the drive-thru line would agree with me. Also, make sure to get your credit/debit card back after you order. They may lose it within the time that it takes to get from 1 window to the other. 9/10, would not recommend.

If I could leave 0 stars I would! We needed the bathroom before we ate. We were met with a ride individual that said you will need to make a purchase first! We told him we are making a purchase but just needed to go to the restroom first. He said no you have to make a purchase first. But hey take a right out of their parking lot and less then a quarter mile down the road on the left there is a Wendy's that is super friendly and doesn't require a purchase to use the restroom. Wendy's had amazing staff who greeted us as soon as we opened the door. I will definitely choose the Wendy's everytime now.

More than one person in our house has gotten very sick from eating at this location(more than once), I wouldn't go back if I were paid to. Leadership clearly doesn't care what quality of food is served. They just want to make a quick buck off you. Not worth getting sick, I do not recommend this location AT ALL! Beware! Or your next stop might be the hospital to have your stomach pumped!

Service was great but the food wasn't baf this time. Fries and food were still hot. YWe live roughly 2 minutes from this McDonald's. The only bad thing was the Fries were too salty, especially for those of us with high blood pressure.

Went through the drive-thru for breakfast, they first handed me a bag with one item in it, and I asked where the rest of the food was and they handed me another bag that looked right but when I got home I realized every item was wrong. When I called they wouldn't do anything for me unless I came back and exchanged the food. That's just a waste of my time and a waste of food, as I doubt they were going to eat it and I hope they wouldn't try to re serve it. I will be back because I live in the neighborhood, but I'm going to be extra careful to make sure everything's right before I leave.

Having lived in Louisville my whole life, I've eaten at most of the McDonald's restaurants here several times. In my 41 years of existence, I have NEVER been treated as rudely and inhumane as I have today. After eating a mediocre lukewarm breakfast, my boyfriend and I took turns using the restroom. I went first, asking the young lady at the register if I could use the restroom. She proceeded to tell me that I had to make a purchase. I told her that I had just eaten (unjustifiable), and she buzzed me in. When I sat back down, my boyfriend went and was immediately greeted with hostility by the people behind the counter, as he had his jacket on. They made him take it off and leave it at his seat. Never in my life have I been told to remove any article of clothing by a McDonald's employee. This is disgusting and unacceptable. As we left, we forgot our drinks on the table, so this young man followed us out the door and approached us OUTSIDE THE ESTABLISHMENT and told us to throw away our cups next time. Well, as I said, Louisville is my city, my home, and I will never return to this McDonald's (Tyler Park) ever again, unless they start treating their customers better, regardless of financial status, age, race, etc. Nobody should be treated with such hostility and discrimination. And this breaks my heart.

The lady who took my order and received the payment on Friday September 8th was extremely nice personal and had a great attitude. The second lady who gave me my food was not rude. But it was pretty apparent she was not into it which I cannot blame her because it's a late shift and people suck. But when you're going to ask me when I order what sauces I would like and then go ahead and ask me again what sauces I would like with my 40 piece chicken nugget meal that I order. I received no sauce at all for 40 nuggets that's crazy there's only so much saliva to go around.

The wait was fine. But every time I come here I always get fries that are re-dropped. They’re dark and greasy and quite frankly, freaking gross. Service is fine though. Keep it up guys

Mickey D's, America's not so guilty pleasure. Look, we've all at some point ate it and also probably some far worse places, too. It's the embodiment of "extra medium". It is what it is, and the constant war cry of how evil they are and how unhealthy their food is isn't doing a thing. No, McDonald's is permanently ingrained in the American cultural landscape. And, come on, you'd be lying to yourself if at least once in your life the ultra sugary, sodium filled fried gut-busters haven't hit the spot for you. For some folks it's the shakes they can't live without. Others, it's the fries that seemingly cannot be reproduced by anyone on the planet and yet are consistently the exact same at every location across the country. I even know someone who swears that McDonald's has the best Coke because it's formulated for them and their fountains only. Everyone has that one thing be it coffee, breakfast treats, or even the fish sandwich that gives them an occasional pleasure they can't resist. How many times have you heard "I don't eat McDonald's....but their ______ is really good. I get that sometimes" from even the healthiest, active, calorie counting people in life that you know? Like picking your nose, we all at some point have to do it despite how disgusting and gross it is, we do it but just don't want to talk about it with anyone. Or maybe having to use a public bathroom. Nobody really wants to, you never wake up planning to do it, but sometimes you just kinda have to bear up get it over with. I It is what it is, and for me it's those damn biscuits. 😆

The demeanor of the employees is exceptionally positive and customer friendly; however, the quality of THEIR output suffers. One evening, I waited in a long line for a long time, only to be told the equipment required to produce the product I wanted to order had been "turned off" -- and turned off during business hours. While disappointed by the earlier experience, I decided to return two days later to purchase hot coffee at 7:40am. I was the only person in line, yet I waited at the window for the coffee at least 3 minutes and the coffee was one degree above cold - lukewarm!! Great customer "friendly," yet poor customer "service."

Nothing to complain about. Got my food fast, it was correct, and it was hot. They did have the men's bathroom locked up, though.

Currently still sitting in the parking lot waiting on just a soda and a double cheeseburger, coming up on 15 minutes now. They’re closed or not taking certain forms of payment almost all the time. This is the worst McDonald’s in town but it’s the closest to my house.

We asked for Milkshakes and paid for it, and I got to the 2nd window for food and they said that (like usual) it was broken. So I already paid and they didn't tell us before we did that it was broken. So they asked if we wanted anything else and we said sundaes. So we were trying to get the equivalent of what we paid by getting 3 sundaes but actually got sundaes that were barely filled and also lost 60 cents!!!!......SMH!

I ordered on the app and got exactly what I ordered which was great!! The only draw back to this location is the seedy hotels behind and around it, the people asking for money in the parking lot and pulling out if you want to make a left to go towards the interstate. Other than those exceptions I’ve been here multiple times and never had an issue with the food or service!!

Even during the ❄️ and being one of few places open this afternoon the lady in the drive through was quick and very polite. She even wished me a blessed day and to be safe. You can't find people like her anymore, and it means so much when people are polite and courteous. Thank you!

My boyfriend and I went to McDonald’s around 1am and its less than 5 minutes from our house so we go here often. I ordered a cheeseburger with only ketchup and onion and a fry and a vanilla milkshake. They always forget the onions on the burger and this time they did again. I asked if they could put onions on the burger and they took it back. The one I got in return had everything on it and was missing the top bun. We had already pulled out of the line so we drove back around and told them what happened. When we got to the window we were met by a man with curly brown hair that I was assuming was the manager. He proceeds to say this burger is cold and ours are made fresh and then asks for the receipt. He then says that he just made that burger so what happened to it because he was the one making the burgers. And we told him that we gave it back to get onions on it and got that one in return. He goes and gets the man at the second window and yells at him in front of us about the burger and then points at us and asks if he recognized us and he says yes. As he was trying to insinuate that we went all the way to another McDonald’s and then came to this one to get a different cheeseburger? Like what would be the point of that over a 2 dollar cheeseburger? He leaves and we get the correct burger and it was so sloppily made. I just don’t understand why we were treated so poorly and disrespected because I wanted onions on my cheeseburger and asked them to correct it. If this man is the manager and making the food, which he is making incorrectly, he needs to be fired and find a different job where he doesn’t hate his miserable life and take it out on customers. Absolutely ridiculous as I have worked in the food industry for years and have never experienced a manager being so foul over a 2 dollar cheeseburger. The fries were also cold and I didn’t even say anything about that because I just wanted to leave !!

Staff was friendly and very prompt. Food was make fresh too order and was nice and hot instead of the usual cold fires and barely warm food so my hat is off too these employees bc it only took one complaint for them too own it fix it and not only fix the issue but also improved the issue for the way better! Everyone was busy working in there assigned areas and it made the whole show run so much smoother and less stressful not only for the employees but for the guests as well. So keep up all the hard work it is most definitely recognized!! Even when it seems its not it honestly really is!! So even when u think noone is looking just keep doing the next right thing and it shall pay off for everyone in the end!

Visited this location twice during my vacation and learned from a very friendly staff member that this location is under new management and doing so much better! Both times i ate here my food was DELICIOUS and the store looked super clean. Restrooms were nice as well as the staff. Will definitely come back to this location any time i am in town and definitely recommend anyone to stop in for great service!
