The best chalet from Apuseni mountains !! With a nice view and one of the most tastefull breakfast in the world!!

The place’s location is amazing. Lots of forests, mountains view, the small creek and all together a beautiful scenery. You can really ease your mind there. The owner is the most amazing man I have ever met during my journeys. He basically takes care of all. Every request you have, he is there for you. Every question, he will answer. He takes care of his guests. Does everything to make them feel like home. We were even given an amazing pudding dessert made by his wife and a very late supper from delicious local products the night when were very hungry and too shy to ask for that. So that is the place where you can forget about the world around and everything else and just calm yourself and enjoy the home like stay! Really something unique for these times.

One of the quietest accomodations I've been in. It's located near the resort, so it's not a busy area. A 5 min drive from Vârtop. Delicious breakfast 🥞 nice people, very comfy bed. I will definitely come again 🤗

We loved it there! All we wanted is peace and quiet and this place was the perfect fit😍 The host was incredibly nice and they promote a green approach to all things - dishes, recycling, even careful when using paper for the check in documents. It was refreshing to see their attitude towards nature❤️ The room was super clean, plenty of space for the clothes and whatnot - we had the room no. 1 and the walls were covered in wood - had that cozy feel to it. The first night there was a storm and the rain was really loud - some would find it relaxing for sure 😍 but we just closed the window and the peace and quiet was back. They only provide breakfast if it is requested, but worry not, there are plenty of places where you can go and eat - one of them is Mama Uța - it is indeed 14 min drive away but it is worth it - a wide range of meals you can choose from, super good price and plenty of food 😍 If you spend some nights at Cabana Cota 1000, don't leave without doing the track from 'Pietrele Galbenei' - it's not the easiest but it's beautiful and worth the effort.

We enjoyed the time spent at the chalet, the location is beautiful and makes you feel as close as it gets to nature. The owners helped us discover the beautiful surroundings, recommending trails appropiate for our toddlers. The breakfast is great and a fridge is available at the location.

There are places in Romania that you can't forget after visiting them. One of these marvelous places, called Cabana Cota 1000, is located in the beautiful West Carpathians, and ran by a wonderful couple. I can only say that the genuine Romanian hospitality, discrete and professional management, attention to detail, and last but not least, the desire to make their guests feel comfortable, are only few of the qualities of this great couple, whom I'm deeply thankful for making my vacation a blast. If you want to find tranquility and peace, visit this place. You won't regret it.

The location of the chalet, the stream that passes beneath it, the clear sky full of stars seen from the balcony of the room and the owners hospitality are a few details we will always remember from our first vist in Apuseni.

Very nice b&b, best value for money. Owner is very hospiable and knows the area well, can assist you finding good hiking in the area. His wife is a great cook, recommend strongly to eat inhouse. Rooms have little balcony facing the wonderful green valley. Perfectly clean.
