Was wandering around the streets of Lyon and word on the street it has beautiful dirty chai and it sure was! Thanks for the beautiful service and cafe. It has no wifi but provides lots of books for you to “steal”. A good reminder to slow down and be present.

I tried their iced American coffee and unfortunately it tasted very diluted unlike other iced coffees Ive tried in Lyon. The size is like American sizes 12 oz. My friend had an espresso which was good.

Very nice, quiet, cozy cafè. The best matcha in Lyon in my opinion. I’ve had both iced and warm with oatmilk - both excellent. Here you can actually taste the matcha and it’s not just milk with a tiny bit of matcha. My friend has also highly recommend the coffee here. The owner is super friendly. There is also a bathroom and a self-service-can of nice drinking water. You can sit outside or inside. Go here and experience for yourself, you’ll not be disappointed :).

I have tried a lot of places in Lyon for specialty coffee espresso. This was the best, period. Excellent coffee, great staff, I took beans for back home also. The owner is a very friendly, sociable guy. Highly recommend.

Our new favorite place in Lyon! We were so fortunate to be staying just down the street from this gem of a cafe. From the warm decor, to the original artwork, perfect coffee and charm & charisma of the owner/manager, Haider Wady, we felt at home from the moment we stepped in the door. With thousands of options in the area - we made it a priority to return daily to KACHKA for our caffeine fixes and delightful conversations with Haider. This is now our go-to cafe and we will certainly be back. Definitely worth a visit!

My wife and I found our first visit to Kachka to be so utterly delightful that we went back the very next day. The operator of the business is incredibly kind, and makes an exceptional flat white. He is also the creator of the gorgeous art that adorns the walls of the café. The signature hot beverage is a proprietary mix of date, almond, and coffee that was unlike anything we had ever tried. Kachka will be one of our first stops when we are in Lyon again.

A very nice, and welcoming place where you can have a warm, well roasted cup of coffee while enjoying the masterpieces, defying the laws of physics, on the walls! And if you don’t drink coffee, you must try their awesome Blue Latte. Will definitely come back, whenever I am in Lyon.

Haider is the wonderful owner and host at Kachka. He recommended the Blue Latte, which was a delight when served cold, with ginger, cocoa sugar and pea flower. His artwork, which adorns the cafe, is amazing. A beautiful conception of movement, balance and the female form. It embodies themes of flying and tetheredness, aspirations and the reality of life. Put me in mind of the female dilemma, although his work transcends gender. These themes apply to so many of us for a variety of reasons. He was kind enough to provide us with a tour and talk about his work. It was a nice surprise and gift on a Sunday. Thank you!
