It’s my first time in Lyon and the best flamkuchen I ever had! I would come back to the city just for this!

Great Alsacien food and beer. The staff were very helpful with late arrivals and accommodating two small children. The place is open and light and there are tables outside. Thoroughly recommended

Yummy tarte flambés in all kind of ways. I went for the smoked salmon one and was not disappointed. Very friendly staff and reasonable prices

Looks like a tourist trap… but the food and service are great! Hands down the most delicate pizza / flatbread I’ve had. We loved everything we tried. Can’t wait to go back!

This was our favorite restaurant we ate at during our stay in Lyon! From start to finish everything was fabulous, and Nicolas truly made this one of the best experiences we’ve had. He was kind, had the BEST recommendations, and made us feel so welcome. We love him and the restaurant so much!! ❤️❤️

Fresh, aromatic, and tasty is what I would describe the Flammekueche that we ordered. There are good vegetarian and vegan options. Wide variety to choose from the drinks menu. The ambiance is good. Staff is very supportive, attentive, and courteous. I would highly recommend the place.

Everything was barely average, the food was below expectations, we had three different flamekuech and no one particularly enjoyed their's. Would not recommend.

We had a lovely dinner at l'Alsacien. We had a salad and a flammkuchen followed by a dessert of very nice pear-flavoured ice-cream with liquor. Summary: good drinks, good food, and a very helpful and friendly staff that double checks ingredients in case you have less common dietary restrictions.

Food was tasty, a bit pricy, 12.9 eur for flamamenkuche but ok it is the center of Lyon. Location is great, service people are friendly, they do speak English. It is not the fastest service but it was ok, we were there like 1.5h so ok. But coffee and drinks were not the best. A friend's coffee tasted like milk went bad. Anyway, wouldnt give it a 5. Seems like a place to drink bear and eat. I think they can easilly improve drinks

Ok. But the vegetarian options dont have flavor at all. I had to ask for additional ingredients to improve my selection.

This is a great place on a Friday and Saturday night. Get your friends together order the flamenkuchen one by one so they come out fresh -- the restaurant suggests this, too. And the service is great. When we walked in the waiter offered service in French, German or English. Alsacien food is unique and incredibly delicious. Have Meteor Pils with your food -- a perfect beer!

The savory flammekeuchen were delicious, the sweet with pralines was too sweet for my taste but similar to brioche and other praline desserts, so I'd say it's by design. The food came out surprisingly quickly. Nice selection of beer and very friendly and attentive staff.

We had a lovely meal here. The staff were lovely and made us feel really welcome. We really enjoyed the food and the drink recommendations. Lovely atmosphere. Would highly recommend.
