Dreadful service, excellent location, good food I found this restaurant 6 months before my trip, before it had many reviews on Google. I was so excited to combine lunch with a rooftop visit to the Basilica next door. It was supposed to be a beautiful memory of a truly special day in Lyon. I made a reservation as soon as it was possible and requested a table near the window. Our lunch was booked for October 5. We arrived 20 minutes early and approached the first reception desk. The person DID NOT welcome us, just directed us to continue down the corridor. We encountered several employees, moving between kitchen and tables or talking among themselves. NO SMILES, NO WELCOME. I noticed an area in the centre of the dining room where servers converged to check the reservation list. It was very close to tables occupied by diners. I tried to approach and get the attention of a tall, slim woman with brown short hair. She was very cold towards me. Again, no smile, no welcome. We waited for more than 5 minutes, during which a young couple appeared and were “processed” immediately. Finally, we were “assigned” to a table in a corner. No view at all. I asked if there was a table with a view. “NO.” I asked if we could sit outside on the patio. “NOT OPEN.” We took our seats at the corner table. We sat there, ignored, for a good 10 minutes. No menu, no reception, nothing. We were ghosts. At first, we chatted and tried to enjoy being able to sit down. As servers walked by to other tables and continued to ignore us, I grew impatient. Finally I stopped a server to ask for menus. The rest of our experience was equally frustrating. We received bread and butter but no knives to serve the butter. Our food was served at a snail’s pace. A couple arrived much later and received their food at the same time as us. The food was beautiful and delicious but the service was cold and inefficient. The only employee who ever smiled or displayed any sign of humanity was a young woman named Camille. I specifically asked for her name so that I could commend her for her good service. I’ve eaten at Michelin-started restaurants all over the world. I cannot remember any with such terrible service. On this trip, we also dined at La Mère Brazier, Jeremy Galvan, Daniel et Denise. At La Mère Brazier, every single employee greeted and welcomed the guests. There was warmth and humanity in their eyes. They understood what it means to be in the restaurant business.

Restaurant is located downstairs and you can explore breathtaking Lyon city view. I choose the Gold Bubble Menu, and it’s 75 euros. I don’t like lamp and it’s flexible to change to duck from the menu, and thee server recommended very good chioce both white and red wine pairing with starter and main course perfectly. Starter and meat are tasty and I really enjoyed. Dessert I choose the pear poached in spiced red wine with pear sorbet, not too sweet and I love it. Service can be rated as a great level, and every plate came at right timing not too rush but they don’t keep the customers waiting too long time. Not to mention the view is amazing. I really recommend this restaurant.

A delightful restaurant beside Notre Dame church. We had a light refreshments at the terrace with unblocked view of Lyon city. Good service and delicious food/dessert. One of a chill place in Lyon. If you want to enjoy their lunch or dinner menu, reservation in advance is strongly suggested.

This amazing view combined with five star gourmet food makes this a must see restaurant overlooking historic old town Lyon. For 45 euro we had a zucchini ceviche and a steamed cod with cannelini gnocchi, plus a gorgeous and tasty fruit dessert.

Fantastic spot to go and cool off if you can find a spot in the shade outside. Brilliant view and really relaxing. Wine on the more expensive side but worth it for the view. Didn’t come for food but drink only.

Perfect little coffee shop over looking Lyon. Staff is great and the drinks are even better. Bulle is a nice reprieve after a hike up to the cathedral.

Visited with a large group of colleagues from several countries, in town for an event. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to everybody, going the extra step to help everybody. The menu is full of great choices to the point where it becomes hard to choose, though you'd be pressed to make a bad choice as everybody in our group was very happy with their food/choices. The wine selection is also wide and offers great choices. The class displayed by this restaurant justifies its the costs category it sits on. Will be happy to return when back in Lyon.

Visiting this amazing restaurant with local friends that highly recommended it. I must say that it’s true to have a Michelin star chief. The food was presented like art & the taste was exceptional. The staff were so friendly & happy to help us around. Not to mention the view was extravagant of whole of Lyon We are definitely coming back!

We got hot chocolate at the restaurant, and it didn't taste good. I asked the service if there was alcohol, and he said no. When I told him it tasted different, he said it's normal. Feeling frustrated, I thought arguing was pointless. Later, I found out the milk was spoiled( sour test) , causing the weird taste. I made sure to mention I know how hot chocolate is made, this is not my first time having a hot chocolate in France.

The view one can enjoy while sitting outside is breathtaking. For the view alone I would give 5 stars. The staff is really nice and they have menus in english which i thought was very welcoming.

We have been there twice in the noon time with family and friends. There are only two set menu to choose, but both of them are delicious and copious. What we love most is the desserts which are creative and impressive.

We arrived without a reservation for lunch and despite not speaking much French we were kindly seated and treated to fantastic service from Andy(?). The food and atmosphere was beautiful, the wine recommendations were great and all of the staff were helpful and polite. Very professional and a great experience!

Brilliant food in a great setting with stunning panoramic views over Lyon. Menu is well judged and expertly executed. Professional but warm service. We had wonderful fish dishes - raviole de langoustine, risotto de coquilles San jacques. The dessert is a superb surprise of a mock lemon. All incredible value. A must visit.
