Swinging
by
right
after
I
arrived
Lyon,
I
was
able
to
get
a
piece
of
pain
au
chocolat
fresh
out
of
oven,
warm,
flaky
layers,
airy
and
buttery.
The
chocolate
was
still
running/melting
inside.
It
was
very
satisfying!
But
what
really
impressed
me
is
a
variation
of
Mont
Blanc.
It
was
a
tart
with
crusted
biscuits
bottom,
grapefruit
jelly
inside
and
lightly
sweetened
chestnut
mousse
on
top.
It
was
full
of
chestnut
aroma
and
some
subtle
citrus
fragrance.
There
was
also
some
very
crunchy
things
mixed
with
the
grapefruit
jelly,
which
I
couldn’t
really
tell.
But
I
quite
enjoy
the
different
textures
and
especially
the
chestnut
purée
(probably
the
best
I
had
ever
had
so
far).
By
the
way,
I
went
back
on
the
2nd
day
just
for
the
chestnut
flan,
but
was
told
that
it
was
only
available
on
Saturday.
That’s
why
I
ended
up
with
the
Mont
Blanc
and
it
didn’t
let
me
down.
Wish
I
could
come
back
one
day
for
the
chestnut
flan!
