Spectacular meal. My partner and I visited burgundy as it came highly recommended by a few of our friends and I am so glad they did! This was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Every single dish was mind blowingly good (the potato bread and the soup were just incredible). The service was also very lovely and they were able to accommodate my dietary restrictions which was kind of them. Would definitely recommend burgundy if you’re visiting Lyon and want an amazing gastronomic experience.

This is by far the best restaurant I have been to in a while. Pure perfection from the food, the service and ambience. On our visit to Lyon we have been to a couple of Michelin starred restaurants but none of them came close to Burgundy! Every course was a pure joy, the flavors were so intense and perfectly aligned. I can’t rave enough about it.

They have a very good and affordable menu for lunch for just 35 Euros. Difficult to find this kind of menu for this price. The service was attentive and kind. Just a request: please fix the A/C for the rest of the summer !!! Enjoying this wonderful food while sweating is not the best. In any case I give a 5.

Incredible experience. We had a set menu. The season food was: trout, monkfish, oyster, frogs and rabbit. Delicious and modern presentation. Desserts are very good. The service is impeccable and nice. Very short and top wine list. Thank you. Enjoy.

This was such a great blind experience! They were thoughtful and took a good care of us. The food was very good, and the many small portions allowed us to enjoy every plate, without feeling heavy. They accommodated our food allergies! Well done ! 👍

Absolutely the best place/dishes we ate in Lyon, and possibly the best value classy dining I've had. Went during the weekday for a Lunch set menu, and it set a very high benchmark by which we judged all our other meals in Lyon. It also felt like we were being treated with a tasting menu, for a lunch price.

It’s only a matter of time before Matthieu gets their Michelin star. As someone who frequents Michelin star restaurants around the globe, this spot is a true gem. Exceptional cuisine, humble chef (who was kind enough to come by and say hello to everyone), and superb service from the staff. One cannot ask for more.

I had a lunch here in September of 2019. After 3 years of Covid era, I flew here from South Korea just to have a dinner here. That I think pretty much says all. This place is the best.

Everything from the amuse bouche that tasted like chilled smoked Gruyère cream in a crisp pastry shell to the Banana Spiced Caramel Sauce Dessert that they served along side creamy chocolate & apple macaroons and a perfect~crispy~ buttery layered dessert Brioche were delicieux They even called a taxi to take us back to the #VikingCruises Hemdail. This was the best restaurant I've ever been to. The staff was attentive. The timing of each course was perfect. The flavors were refined and bold. Everything was delicious and we immediately made another reservation for the following day, our last day traveling in Lyon.

So much creativity with the fresh ingredients. Modern and bold use of seafood and fish, which we love. We enjoyed the wine pairing and they also custom made some meals for our two young children. We thoroughly enjoyed the food here, which lived up the reputation of Lyon as the gastronomic capital of France.
