If you’re going to pay that much for a Michelin meal, I wouldn’t recommend picking this restaurant. It was an interesting experience that was more focused on theatrics (hence the beautiful photos on social media) but the quality and taste of the food did not meet our expectations as compared to other Michelin restaurants we have tried in Lyon. In particular, most of the dishes were a bit too sour and the use of citrus and vinegar was rather unrestrained and unbalanced. Serving time in-between courses was way too long that made us feel pretty restless and bored. Also, we were 10 minutes early for our reservation and was clearly caught in the rain standing just right in front of the unsheltered entrance of the restaurant but the staff insisted they only opened on time (said they needed to conduct a staff briefing) and wouldn’t let us in. Maybe the customer experience was ruined from the beginning which contributed to everything being a bit underwhelming. To be fair, the service staff during the meal were all very courteous. Overall, the phrase “form over substance” would sum up our experience.

It was my first time in a Michelin star restaurant. What can I say, fantastic experience! Great quality of food and great flavors combination. Everything is studied in detail and the small details make the difference! Friendly and professional staff. I recommend this fantastic experience to everyone! À bientôt!!!

Exceptional experience. We came for lunch as a group of four and had the seven course menu for 89 euro pp. The restaurant also does a 35 euro lunch menu. Reservations will need to be made early for dinner or the weekend - we were luckily able to get a table that weekend for the Tuesday lunch. We didn't read the menu beforehand and just sat back and enjoyed the experience. The meal started with an amuse-bouche of the four elements and ended with some sweets with coffee. I can't fault the courses - I enjoyed them all. My favourite was the 'egg' dessert. I'll think about this one for many years to come. The cost was about 450 euro for people with champagne, wine and coffee. Thoroughly recommended for a special dining experience in Lyon.

We had lunch with five courses and wines to match. The food was delicious and the wines worked well with each course. The only course I found a little disappointing was the desert. There seemed to be more attention paid to surprising us with the indredients (potato and cider) than to the flavour of the food.

Not just a fantastic dinner, but a unique experience we will remember for a long long time. We enjoyed every steps and travelled far during our evening at Jérémy Galvan.

Underwhelming experience with foie gras served in almost every dish. Also the server/manager was irritated when I didn't finish every bite of a few of the dishes. Lastly, wine service wasn't offered as listed on the menu due to staffing.

It was a bit over the top with the theatrics and the flavor was simply not there. I don’t want to disrespect the concept created by the chef but I’d personally rather have a delicious meal with a few unique flavors than a long series of bites that kept disappointing. We kept thinking “maybe the next dish will be the mind blowing one that earned the restaurant a Michelin star.” The duck breast was perhaps the only course my husband and I both enjoyed and to be fair we went for lunch so maybe the dinner is a different situation. After 20+ dishes we still left hungry and very unsatisfied. We actually went somewhere else right afterwards to have lunch. Service was great but impersonal — very scripted and to the point. We tend to enjoy servers who interact a bit more with their guests. Be prepared to be there for 3 hours and feeling antsy due to the ongoing display of flavorless creations. For Lyon being the food capital of France, we would’ve chosen something else. I must note, I have been to other Michelin star restaurants and I think this one has been my least favorite.

Came here expecting this to be pretentious theatrical nonsense (a la The Menu movie) but was truly impressed by the food. Every one of the 25-30 dishes (we lost count ) was delightful. There was no real surprising weird combinations, just great pairing and elevation of fine familiar ingredients. The servers were also friendly, engaging and had fun with us. Only thing I would criticise is the amount of dishes was probably far too much, we were stuffed and ready for bed by already the 10-12th dish!! But still highly recommended Michelin star experience.

This was an amazing experience, and I cannot think of a single negative thing to say. First, so many artistic chefs, and their food, are portrayed as nonsensical, just putting something on a plate because it sounds interesting or avant-garde. I did not feel that way at all here. Each course (and the meal as a whole) made complete sense. The item choices and flavors paired perfectly with the rationale for the course, and even with the timing in the meal. Second, I anticipated that out of ten courses that were made up of many parts, there would be something that I wouldn’t like. I was wrong. Every bit of it was delicious. For my drinks, I had the wine/vegetable creation option, and both paired well and were delicious. Third, everyone who worked there was incredibly nice and made the experience even better. I was there alone, but it didn’t feel like it. Some other things to note: - The whole experience took about 3.5h. Again, worth it. It was a complete experience and also 10 courses, and I didn’t feel rushed or that I was there forever. I was also full when I left. - There are (I think) two rooms (maybe more, but I only saw two). The first room is brighter, but the second room downstairs is a bit darker and a blue color. I was in the blue room, which felt more like a tranquil cave than a regular restaurant, like the other room. Get the downstairs blue room if you want a more calming experience. - I speak English and very little French, and while I’m not sure if everyone there speaks English, at least a few do, and the people who helped me told me about all of my courses in English. Also, I was never left feeling confused about what to do with what or how to eat something. All of my questions were answered. It wasn’t assumed that I should know how to eat something I had never seen presented before. I genuinely loved this. I was excited to watch other people get the courses I had already gotten because I knew what experience they were going to have. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to be taken through a gastronomic experience.

The best dining experience so far! There’s an insect in the glass and a worm in one of the dishes.

I'm still trying to wrap my mind around the experience and not in a good way. Over the top presentation and frankly subpar food. I can't even remember what anything taste like. It was all about the presentation and them trying to convince what the food should taste like. I also realized afterwards they double charged me.

1 Michelin star experience - tasting menu is quite extraordinary and an experience like no other. Enjoy travelling back in time to the chef's childhood and through nature itself. Most memorable experience is the walk in the woods with headphones, mushrooms galore, and earth around you. Unusual, not your everyday fine dining experience, definitely worth a visit for something straight out of the forest and mother nature's bounty.

What an experience! It was playful & intriguing. Service was excellent, really appreciate the English explanations. Love the use of local products too. Highly recommend if you’re in Lyon.

Best meal i have ever had. It was the most intriguing and delicious meal we have ever had. The food was so tasty and challenged what we thought about food and it was so so so good.

This restaurant was mind blowing until the final ‘meat course’. Then an array of disappointing aspects left us underwhelmed considering the price. The wine glasses were covered in fluff, the toilet was a mess, all tables were given bread bar us and the taste of the dishes really dropped off at the end. Finally we were charged extra for water which is ridiculous when spending 500 euro. The service of our hostess in guiding through the menu was however excellent
