Great food and excellent service, everyone was very kind and helpful! Highly recommended to anyone visiting Lyon, I would gladly go back! Very easy to reserve a table too, as you can book online.

We didn’t have a reservation but the staff were very welcoming, spoke excellent English and the food was delicious. They have a good selection of wines and nice beer.

For the first time in my life I found a hair in my soup Apart from that the food was just ok, and the location is small. Not really recommended for big groups.

Make sure to book dejeuner. Reluctant to accept walk-ins. You do not want to miss out on their delicate food. Excellent and very pleasant team. They do not want to pack it full, unlike the numerous eateries offering less refined cooking.

Friendly, efficient service. Delicious meals, I had lunch and dinner there with my husband. Comfortable environment with a great local vibe and scene. An easy win for a night out.

We went to dinner here and my gf and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I had the lamb and my gf had the sole. We paired our meals with wine and our server was very helpful helping us choose a proper pairing. Overall, it was a very delicious meal and the service was superb. We highly recommend this establishment!

Very nice restaurant and atmosphere, friendly service. The food is really nice, it’s just really a pity and a gap in the menu that there is not one single vegetarian dish (not in the starters, neither in the main dishes). Today this is a no-go.

After extensive research we ended up at restaurant Albert for dinner on Saturday night. The food was overall great with the highlights being the tuna tataki, monk fish and steak. We did find the lamb lacking flavour though hence the 4 star.

Shared an excellent meal with a lovely bottle of Pommard. Cozy vibe on the terrace and home cooked feeling food. Our waiter had a dry sense if humour that added to the experience.

Delicious food, great service, lovely ambience, and a VERY reasonable price. I had the formule du midi - salade lyonnais, veal, and a delicious apricot almond cake for dessert. My husband had a steak with green peppercorn sauce - perfectly cooked. And the total was 44 euros!!!! Go there and have a great lunch - you won’t regret it!

Highly recommended! We had the great pleasure of just coming over this restaurant after being rejected nearby. Being the unruly number of five guests at the late hours, we are not the most wanted of guests. But they had a table for four, the lovely elderly waiter conjured up a last chair and we began a great food journey of 3 meals: exciting starters, delicious tender main courses and great desserts at the end. My friends got recommended a great wine and the service ended with a digestive treat. The atmosphere of this place is great. I kept admiring the walls and our waiter were absolutely superb. This is my best experience in a restaurant for many years and I will be back.

Our local AirBNB host recommended this restaurant for our short stay in Lyon. The waiter was new, but he was so friendly and helpful. I speak very little French, and he met me more than halfway and helped to translate the menu for us. The food was top notch- traditional French cuisine, not too heavy but very satisfying and delicious. I had the cod, which came with a lemon butter sauce and some fresh roasted veggies and my husband had the filet mignon which he told me was his favorite meal in France so far. The wines were delicious, dessert was delicious, and the decor/vibe of the restaurant was so cute and cozy.

What a great little restaurant. Staff is wonderful. English is not a big issue. Food was REALLY good. Better than a few of the high end Paris restaurants we ate at. Neighborhood is really nice and just off the main tourist area. Makes for a great atmosphere with the locals. If the old city is a bit too much tourism for you and you enjoy food. Try it. Price was very reasonable too

Restaurant Albert - perfect service as always, the cuisine is impeccable and always a delightful experience. We had our meal on the terrace in this tranquil square where classic French bistrot cuisine is combined with impeccable service at a price that makes it even more worth it. This was our first choice to go when the restaurants re-opened, almost like returning home... I was so pleased with our meal. Highly recommended.
