Not what I expected from the crepe and reviews others have given. Soggy if you like Soggy crepes. Not crispy like others I have tried. There were hardly any customers when we arrived. Only one staff and one cook. Took a long time to be served as we could not speak French. I have eaten much better crepes in France than this place. Not up to standard at all. Extra egg cost additional €1.5. I ordered vegetarian crepe. Other vegetarian stuff only available on week days. Sat limited variety.

The gallettes were not bad at all, however the service was far too slow. We went in around 1pm, with a train leaving at 3pm, thinking we had plenty of time to eat. However, we only managed to get a gallette and had to skip the sweet crepe, which was included in the menu, because after more than one hour we were still waiting. On top of this, when we asked to have a separate receipt for each of us - no other restaurant in Lyon had a problem with that - the people working there were visibly annoyed and gave us completely wrong receipts. I'm not coming back the next time I'll be in Lyon.

The food was very good. Loved their salad, galette, crêpes. Basically every food tasted good. However I'm giving 3stars as the service wasn't good at all. The staffs are not friendly, not kind and seemed to very slow, even just to more around. Although thr food is very good, I'm certainly not returning there, unless they ask their staff to be friendly or hire better staff.

Amazing crepes! Love the food here. There’s so many different varieties of crepes and the price is reasonable as well. Got a Norwegian crepe and a dessert one with caramelised apples.

Absolutely delicious crepes at good prices €13.5 and lovely service. Recommend the Norwegian (smoked salmon) and ravioli crepes. All come with salad. Fillings are generous and fresh. Our server was very welcoming and could speak English and provided English menus. The restaurant itself has lovely decor and a clean bathroom. We booked through the fork and was able to get 30% discount. Highly recommend!

The savory crêpes (galettes) are all right, but I've definitely had better. There also was only one vegetarian option (the other vegetarian option is only available with the set menu during weekdays). We were told to order a galette with meat and ask for it without the meat, but we still had to pay the same amount. Other than that, the service was kind and the sweet crêpes were good. The restaurant is only a 10-15 minute walk away from Lyon Part-Dieu, so it's a decent place to have an authentic lunch by the station.

A must have in Lyon. As I am not a sweet tooth, I had trouble finishing such a sweet crepe. But no regrets in ordering.

La Marelie is a great place where you can tell locals go to. We ordered La Popeye, the Vegetarienne and a sweet crepe with chocolate. Although the cheese was a little rich on the savory crepes, the veggies were cooked well and the fried egg on top was a nice touch. The sweet crepe was simple but very delicious. Although our server spoke mainly French, it was nice she was patiently listening to us, as we slowly spoke their language to the best of our ability. I would be interested to try the other creperies and see how La Marelie stacks up against the others.

We loved it! The restaurant is really cute and in a typical french style. We had a savory dish and a sweet Crêpe for dessert. Both dishes were super delicious. The waitress was really nice and the food was ready in just a few minutes. We can totally recommend going there. Reasonable prices for good quality french food.
