A great introduction to the gorgeous city of Lyon starts here with the very approachable and friendly staffs of the Tourism Office! Can't fault them as they give the best possible advice of how to get to major attractions and off the bitten trail spots. They can also book and organize tours and how to really make use of your time in enjoying this beautiful city. It's inside Place Bellecour with the Ferris Wheel as a landmark. Bright and welcoming atmosphere with just great service. I thoroughly recommend starting here if you're new to Lyon like me. Merci pour votre hospitalité!

My friend lost his wallet on the hop on hop off bus and they were excellent and found the wallet and took it to the office de tourism at Lyon on the Bellecour square . The wallet had an apple air tag so we could see the wallet was there. However when my friend asked them they denied having it. My friend insisted it was showing as being in the office de tourism building and although the staff appeared helpful they did not acknowledge it had been handed in. My friend noted it seemed to be in their staff toilet so he entered the toilet and found it on top of the toilet paper dispenser and was hugely relieved to recover it. Unfortunately it was minus the €90 cash- make of that what you will!

Five star service! The staff was extremely helpful and kind. Lyon city card with free entrance to many museums and unlimited use of public transportation is so efficient and freeing. Hope they have a place like this in part-dieu station as well.

Very helpful attendants answered any questions we had. Went in, checked in (asked if we bought our city cards online.) immediately taken to a desk. They made sure we knew that the card would start for transportation for that Calendar day and the activities (museum entries) would start when swiped at an activity. Hold card over metro gates, doesn’t need to be inserted anywhere. The office also had someone who could help with concerts and nightlife activities. These were located all over. They also gave us a beautiful postcard! There’s also a book of activities too.

Excellent and courteous service. Free map was excellent and advice on sightseeing very helpful. We spent 8 hours walking around this beautiful city and its sights. Appreciate the free toilets and drinking water fountains. Thank you Lyon.

Very good service. This is definitely your first stop when you visit Lyon. Don’t forget to get your Lyon city card here. Great value for money. Do make all your bookings of the guided walking tour and puppet shows here too.

Merilyn was the best. She have great advice for us to make the most of our weekend in Lyon and was hilarious. I recommend getting the city card. There's so much to do, even in November when we visited.

The company we booked our cheese and wine tour cancelled on us without letting us know. This location was more than willing to help us. Rachel jumped into action and planned our day for us with a trip around Vieux Lyon. She marked all the sights on the map for us and helped us to explore Lyon. Thank you Rachel!

No wait in line, just two minutes to collect our Lyon Cards. A few cities could learn. However, you should be given a qr code or something similar when you order ms pay in advance that you can redeem down a free public transport trip to the office, otherwise you have to pay for that. This issue is the same in every city.

Very helpful (Irish!) young man helped us. We got signed up for the City Card and the two free guided tours. Started using the cards immediately on the subway and busses. Works like a charm.

Great reception! Very kind and helpfull, they have multilanguage staff. They have fast attendance, organization, and there wasn't waiting line in the morning. Confortable place to wait if so.

Kindest, most attentive and patient tourist office I've ever been to. The Lyon Card is a must for any visitor, is easy to buy, and truly acts as a key to the city.

Staff very helpful with lots of different recommendations

Maybe was because de Lumière festival but the office was overcrowded.

They gave me a lot of help and a map to identify what to do around. Here, i bought a tour for wine tasting in Beaujolais too.

The staff was nice but provided the wrong information. We bought the 24 hours Lyon city card at the info office on Sunday May 28, 2023. The staff recommended activating the card on Sunday afternoon so we can visit the museum of Fine Arts of Lyon on Monday May 29th. We knew that Monday was Whit Monday and some attractions are closed. So we asked the staff whether the museum is open on Monday and they confirmed twice that it is open. On Monday, we discovered that the museum is closed. So we wasted money on the city card and basically overpaid for the one attraction we visited on Sunday.

The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and take the time to help you plan a great trip. Excellent resource, would recommend this to any newcomers to the city! Great work

Helpful tourism office, staff have excellent English. Useful location for South of peninsula. Only 4 stars as doesn't sell any Lyon-branded goods - a disappointment.

Clean, bright, efficient, knowledgeable and friendly - what more could you ask for? The person that helped us was very kind and gave us good advice on how to use the CityPass. He also helped find a place to leave our bags while we waited to be able to check in to our AirBnb. Definitely worth stopping in even if it's not your first time in Lyon

Very helpful, although Lyon didn’t receive a 5 ⭐️ rate because of their weird anti-dog 🐶 global policy : our dog was almost nowhere welcome. 😢
