3-star quality in a 5-star location.....Averages out to 4 stars :) Pretty basic facility & amenities, but if you want to convenience of a small kitchen and a little extra square footage in your room, you can't go wrong with this option. And it's walkable to many main attractions in Lyon, including Vieux Lyon just across the river. The staff was very friendly and helpful which overall made it a pleasant experience. There was a small group of homeless people and dogs sleeping just outside the front door which was not a very pleasant sight to walk by every day. I never felt unsafe, but really wished the hotel would take charge to help these people relocate to a better location.

It deserves five star rating, the only negative point is about the blanket cleanliness, it is very dirty and has a bad smell. The location of the hotel vould not be better, everything is around, many many restaurants, cafes, markets and other shoppings. the crowd remain till late night, so expect some noises when you open the windows, if not then the room has a good soundproof and you hear nothing from the street. Great coffee offered at the lobby for free. Great Wifi. Adequate facilities for cooking. Spacious rooms. Cooperative staff with smiles on their face.

The hotel is situated in the perfect location right in between a myriad of restaurants, bars, and shops. I loved the layout of the room. Originally we were supposed to stay at the Best Western a street away, but it was literally just big enough to fit just the bed and had no view. This was a big upgrade for around the same price! Kitchenette too. We chose the studio that had an extra tiny room with a sofa that was used to put our big suitcases, which was nice to keep the bags hidden away. Appreciated the double windows- at first I thought it was bizarre, then I quickly realized how useful it was when the Brits came over for the match and were howling all day and night for two straight days haha. Very soundproof. Really enjoyed being on the first floor overlooking the restaurants right underneath- I always kept the windows open- felt like I was in the midst of the bustle and chatter, so even if you were just having a quiet night in, you somehow felt part of the action. Screen mirroring didn’t work on their TV as was advertised, which would have been nice to have to make it completely comfortable.

Overall Good, small kitchen at room but there is no toothpaste & brush and no slipper at room.

Hotel staffs have been very nice with us, letting us take a shower after the marathon around 1.30pm, much after the normal checkout time. We didn't even ask anything. Really appreciated.

Well if you are looking for a 3-star hotel, this is it. I have to say the staff was really helpful and the location amazing. We were smart enough to book a studio with air condition. Anyhow. The maintanance definately needs some preparation. This isn't new hotel anymore and it does affect to cleanliness as well. We had a studio with a small kitchen. Our dish washer did run programms, but never cleaned the dishes. Also air condition kept knocking noise and disturbed our sleep. We were also pretty sure, it will break soon.

If you travel during the summer time, take note: There's NO AIR CONDITIONING in the standard rooms! You have to pay for a deluxe room to get AC. Yes, really. And there's no deluxe in your experience, except for that AC - which we were grateful for, but in our case, we got a very noisy unit that I kept waking up to. However, without it our stay would have been unbearable. The rooms have a nice kitchen area with utinsels to make some breakfast or simple lunch, a fridge and a dishwasher that unfortunately in our case didn't clean the dishes properly. The location of the hotel is perfect. Situated close to the old town, restaurants, bars and the shopping area. Also the staff was friendly. But it only gets three stars from me because it's a real sham that there's no AC in the hallways, the rooms could use some face-lift, there's no cleaning included for shorter stays and the only deluxe in the deluxe rooms is a very noisy AC which really feels like a rip off since they know they can make money out of it.

This was a last minute booking for a Canadian couple, aged 60+. There's a proverb which says "never judge a book by its cover". The same can be said of this place. Our little apartment perfectly suited our needs for a 2-night stay. The location, in the heart of the city, was great. There are a couple of grocery shops within easy reach. And many, many restaurants! The fan was a big help in the heat. Because of its location and the proximity of restaurants, street noise (including early morning street cleaning) is to be expected. But, on the whole, this place was just perfect.

Clean, spacious and cost efficient. Not luxurious but the studios are a great price and the hotel is a great base for exploring the city. There is no air conditioning and we skipped breakfast as it was a bit spendy

Fantastic place to stay. Business, pleasure - this is well placed. Can be a little noisy at weekends, but double windows sort that out nicely. The more luxury accommodation is worth the extra euros as it carries a nicer kitchen and air conditioning!

From check in until we leave the hotel, we had a very pleasant stay. The room was very spacious including a small kitchen. The staff was very kind and attentive. The hotel was just in the centre and near to all attractions ,bars and restaurants within a very short walking distance.

    · Great location at the heart of Lyon. Helpful staff at the reception, quick check-in and check-out. Clean and tidy room. · Questionable choices on ergonomics. Kept accidentally hitting the raised wardrobe next to the head of the bed. Bathroom was big but the shower facility is a disaster; despite the shower curtain, there is no lip to hold the water inside which meant it was spilling all over and there is no drain on the floor... Also, the ventilation in the bathroom did not work.

Really impressed, room was large (as big as some airbnbs!), very clean and modern. Decent little kitchen with a dishwasher. Room was quiet too despite facing on to the street- the windows cut out sound. We had our own breakfasts (€12 each person each day to eat here!). Basic rooms don't have air con but do have fans so we were fine. Absolutely great location.

Had a great experience. The location of the hotel is perfect - in the heart of the city centre surrounded by several restaurants and pubs. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff was very supportive.
