Really cute place, I’ve been in the neighborhood for 10 years and have never been so was happy to finally check it out. We were going just for drinks (the regional reds are really well priced at 5-7€ a glass) as I’ve always associated Le Mondrian with a bar vibe but we stayed for dinner and it was really good 👍 The menu is reduced so you have less choice but the chef is talented so you’re happy with less choice. The menu price (21€) seriously can’t be beat, so qualité/prix is awesome, especially in the neighborhood which is super trendy. I ordered the soupe and the vegetarian plate (fried polenta) and my partner had some kind of beef dish that he really enjoyed. The dessert was super creative, a violet sweet potato base with some kind of vegetarian crème, the presentation was spot on 👌 We will happily return!

Not terrific. Beautiful outdoor eating eat but the food wasn’t great. Went with my family and all of us had dishes that were uneven temperature throughout.

Very friendly restaurant/bar/lounge. The place is very cool looking with its whale sculpture and live music (dj), the food was excellent and the staff friendly and expedient. Loved it!

Very nice terrace. Mostly locals. Good Bulots with alioli. Cremant nice and fruity.

Nice place! We were served by a very friendly and pretty waitress. Burger sans pain and homemade fries were tasty!

The food was delicious, the staff friendly and the atmosphere was incredible. You have a nice view over the city. They don't have a huge menu, but the food was great, typical french food with a lot of flavors.

FUYEZ ! Small white bearded waiter was rude, half the menu unavailable on valentine's day... Dried up salad with the starter, cold main meal and when told they heat it up in the microwave and served our own plates back. Seriously disgusting, and I'm French so I know how it's supposed to be. We thought it could not get worse so decided to get desert, waited 20 minutes with empty plates on the table before we decided to just leave. They didn't seem to care. I do not recommend. It's really loud too... And like no apology from anyone at all!! Et je ne parle même pas de la bouteille en verre cassée qu'on est sensés utiliser pour se servir en eau...

Popular spot on a Saturday evening. Had an aperitif & nibble here & enjoyed the ambience. Great for people watching!

Very expensive for what you get (steak). Wines are disappointing (by the glass). Waitresses are sweet but have too many tables. Terrace was very nice. I read some other reviews and the manager/owner's replies and if he or she spent as much time improving the problems I might return. But not as is

The bread's good. Weather was nice, we enjoyeda nice view on Fourvière while sitting outside. Otherwise the food wanted to be good but ended to be without proper taste, the price was top tier and we decided to leave before dessert

Great place to chill and drink. The staff is very welcoming and you can eat small plates or full dinner.
