Bring lots of time with you... This museum is so interesting, that you need a day or two. But also you can just pick a exhibition, and spend an afternoon learning about humankind, nature and about everything and anything. You can drop off laguage at the front desk and pick it up after your visit. There is a little museum shop, clean bathrooms and lots of space outside to meet or rest for a while. Kids or adults, frensh or foreign will find interesting things. Everything is in frensh and English. Check for special shows and opening hours.

The place is beautiful but when I was there it was very empty with no one around, felt a bit insecure

Great spot for photos and to see the rivers as you walk to get here. A bit of a trek but worthwhile.

(Translated by Google) For me it's more an esplanade than gardens: there is only grass, one or two trees but that's it. No plants, flowers etc. Attention for children: it is not safe: the little ones can fall off the platform (on the lower platform) easily because the colors are confused so it is better to keep them close. It is clean and well maintained...

(Translated by Google) Very good for seeing the two rivers meet (Rhône and Saöne), otherwise the garden lacks a bit of green space...
