Basically we were taking the train from Paris to Marseille and missed our connection in Lyon, which meant we had a newly added 8 hour layover. Well to make the best of it we started making our way towards the churches and historic old part of Lyon. Needing some caffeine, we stopped for lunch after looking a bit off the beaten path. We were totally surprised at the gorgeous quality of food that was served to us. It definitely made the layover feel not so bad. The location was lovely and shaded and a short walk from the walking district and a 20ish minute walk back to the train station. The cheese plate, salad, burger, and pasta were so delicious! It was the only meal we ate in Lyon and left a fabulous impression on the flavors of the town. Definitely will be visiting there if we're ever back in that part of the country.

A very nice place to drop in when the rain came and the tourists (2 of us) got the urge for a good Irish coffee. The service was welcomming, pleasent and the staff spoke good english. I can recomend this place👍😊

Very cozy and enjoyable place. The menu is lacking some minestrone, salads, pastas and sweets but the food was too notch!

We were looking for a break from French food and this place hit the spot. They had an unbelievable bufala mozzarella pizza and a pretty good white pie as well. Decent beer selection and pleasant, relaxed ambience.

A very Italian experience great and pizzas. The restaurant is a nice size and handled our large group of 30 easily. However, large groups need to call ahead.

I had an excellent wine with a big and tasty salade burratina, very good value for money, the salad had very good charcuterie in it and was bigger than I expected. Friendly staff and nice seating in a calm and beautiful neighborhood.

Food was cold, even after we sent it back. One of the meatballs was not cooked and raw in the middle as well as cold. Nice decor and wine selection. Overall very disappointed.

Visited this restaurant just over a week ago with a few friends. Extremely hot weather and we were sitting outside in the sun. We wanted to move to the shade, but there were no chairs in the shade. I started moving my chair when the waitress told me not to move my chair. I moved to the shaded area without my chair. A man (maybe the owner?) came running to us. He was extremely agitated and annoyed that we were drinking our beer in the shade, which was still on the restaurant property and barely 2-3 metres from where we were sitting. We don't speak French and didn't understand the reasoning behind his annoyance. Worse treatment I ever received and completely unnecessary.

I didn’t like the hospitality of the manager. When we asked them if my sister who’s gluten intolerant could bring her plate from the restaurant nearby (who is by the way the same owner of the restaurant in which we are eating) they rigidly refused. No flexibility, the sentence “ le client est roi” doesn’t exist. It’s easter by the way. Food was good, we had 3 pizzas and a salad.
