The foregais is so so, I won’t try again. But the oysters and the seafood platter are delicious. The fried plaice is also quite nice. Overall it’s a bit expensive, but it’s a nice experience to try in Lyon.

Nice seafood, always nice presented, good wines to go with it. Due to the fact that all the stores at night around it closes it's not the nicest place to sit. Good staff and even nice cheese to end ...

We had a platter of seafood for €50 and the dozen of oysters came in a fine selection from briney to sweet. Service was slow (they were busy) but attentive. The platter came with complimentary toast & .25l white wine. Oysters were plump and fresh. We were seated near the counter where the oysters were shucked and plated, it really added to our dining experience.

This was the third time we came to the restaurant and it's going to be the last one. Terrible service, unpleasant attitude by almost all members of the staff. Not only did we wait over an hour for our food to come, despite the restaurant being half empty, but we also had to ask multiple times to get our drinks order served. With the amazing restaurant offer in Lyon, it's not worth spending time in a restaurant where the service doesn't meet the minimum of politeness and helpfulness.

2nd visit, still ended in huge delight. We enjoyed the fresh & diverse choice of oysters and good wine, good to try the seafood platter for 1st visit and they also provide tailer a la carte on your preference.

We were seated at 2pm after being rejected by Chez Léon after queuing at their place for 40 mins. Ecailler Cellérier managed to take our order way before we got seated. The manager took our order and just before 2pm after the table for 4 got freed we were seated. The platters arrived quite quickly. We were starving. It was a huge platter for 3 that I ordered and we were 4, with all kind of seafood. Oysters, jumbo prawn, lobster, crab, whelks and more prawns. We had a side ordered of frog and escargot! Super delicious and not to be missed, we also tried their grilled jumbo prawns! Gratin dauphinois was yummy and the ratatouille was delicious. I can go on and on. We did not even manage to get a pic as were feasting on this lovely seafood. We even get a free glass of champagne for free to end our meals.. just a nice manager trying to help us forget the bad memory before we got into his restaurant and with a café gourmand waiting for our bills. We had lunch here, and it was a pleasant experience. The manager made time to explain a bit about different kinds of oysters. It was nice.

The oyster and urchin was fresh and delicious. However I ordered fresh prawns to cook with risotto. I even informed the service person that I don't like the boiled prawn they had. They are still serving boiled ones. Usually I don't review when I get disappointed with food quality. But they are dishonest so I must tell.

We wanted to try the seafood platter and was informed that we would need to wait for 1 hour. We were there waiting and came back to the restaurant after an hour, and we were informed that they didn’t know when the restaurant would be open and might need to wait another hour. Also, the waitress’ attitude was very rude and not welcoming at all.

This is restaurant is a complete tourist trap. If you're a tourist they will serve you the smallest oysters they have and you will watch plates with big oysters passing by to local's tables. The jumbo prawns and lobsters are frozen and rubbery, not fresh. There are many better places to eat oysters in Lyon, you just need to use your common sense and stop giving money to these scammers.
