Beautifully presented in Place Antonin-Poncet and opposite the famous Place Bellecour. Ce clocher est un vestige de la chapelle de l'hôpital historique de la Charité, construit au XVIIIeme siècle, et détruit au XXeme siecle dans les années 30, quand l'hôpital Édouard Herriot à été construit à Grange-banche. Une porte permet de penetrer dans la base du monument, et un plaque expliquant l'historique est accessible. Il s'agit désormais d'un veritable emblème de la ville de Lyon, indissociable de la place Bellecour.
