This restaurant is a HIDDEN GEM in the tourist district off off La Playa Malagueta. The food was perfection! Wow! We were 2 with no food allergies & 1 celiac. 85% of the menu was fine for the celiac & the owner was 100% confident of ingredients and what contained gluten -- it made all of us feel confident as well. Food was fresh and well-cooked. Owner was knowledgeable and engaging. Prices were reasonable like a neighborhood restaurant should be even though it is in the 5-star tourist hotel district, next to the Gran Hotel Miramar Malaga.

Had a great meal with local Spanish dishes. Owner was very helpful and explained what was in each. Great value and a highlight of our visit to Malaga.

Lovely charming authentic place - I wish my Spanish was as good as the person who served us. Had the sopa of the day, pork meatballs and my partner had a pork tenderloin in puff pastry. Great value, good food and friendly service.

We found this charming little cafe by accident, having visited the nearby gluten-free bakery. The interior is very simple, with vintage bullfighting posters and family photos. The lady who welcomed us in was friendly and very patient with our lack of Spanish! She talked us through the hand written menu, explaining which items she, and her sister, could make gluten free for us and recommended a gluten free bottled beer. Some of our group had a fantastic, homemade sangria. The food was delicious. She recommended a variety of fish dishes and a bowl of salad. The fishes were amazingly tasty. She also brought warm gluten free bread to the table, which was a lovely surprise. They are very strict on non cross contamination and have a separate preparation area. My daughter had pork, Serrano ham and Machego cheese in breadcrumbs, which she thoroughly enjoyed. Everything is made with local ingredients. The prices are very reasonable. The restaurant has won awards and, in my opinion, deserved them. The only drawback may be that the toilet is upstairs. You can find the restaurant on a side street, not far from the beach.

Exquisite traditional food from Málaga and heartwarming service in this family owned restaurant. The place to go for a typical local comfort food lunch.

Easily the best dish I had in Spain so far!! The dish berza malagueña is recommended by the host and is MUST try! I’m carving for me, but too bad already full from Callos. If I can order again, I’d do a full size berza and then a tapa size callo. Love this place! You can yeah the owner take pride if her food. When I told her the food is soo good she said yep. 😁😆

Simple, well-cooked home cooked Spanish food! One of the very few traditional family restaurants left in Malaga. The owner is very friendly and talkative. Go and check it out, support the locals!

👍👍 El Corte Inglès was a Tailor shop opened in 1890 (The English Court). The present Company bought the Tailor in 1935 and made it into what it is today with stores throughout Spain. What it is, is a very upmarket store, very much like House of Fraser, and very much loved by the Spanish. If you haven’t...

👍👍 I’m a tourist and this is easily one of the best restaurant I’ve ever seen. It has the culture, the atmosphere, the music, THE FOOD. Gosh, bless them for the food they’re making! 👍👍 Very nice atmosphere, authentic, and good quality tapas. You might have to wait 15 minutes to get a table. I would also rely on the staff recommendations. We live in Malaga, and go there often
