THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! The best pulpo (octopus) I have ever had! Literally!! Absolutely fantastic!.... they serve it over potatoes and it is out of this world. Their callos are amazing as well, and their garlic shrimp is great as well. Their tuna has great flavor, and is also served with potatoes. Everything I had here was great, I came here 3 times within a week and a half it was so good.

I strongly recommend you to visit this restaurant if you are in Malaga. The ground floor is the tapas area and the first floor is the restaurant area. The first floor it's usually quiet until 21 but from 21 onwards the locals arrive so the place gets very busy. The service was absolutely fantastic - especially Angel- and the food was absolutely divine. We have ordered grilled octopus, secreto iberico, meatballs, tuna salad, tomato salad and two bottles of verdejo!! Great value for money!!

I definitely recommend this restaurant for visiting if you wanna dinner in Malaga. That day I said I am only agree to eat traditional Spanish food and I need smth extra authentic, and it was the case! Croquetas were the best of my life, seriously! Order it and try, I suggest de jamon. Calamari were properly cooked, the portion was great and the price was fair. I also like the sauce, but i believe it shouldn’t be served with croquetas, but with calamari. Maybe was just the wrong plate, which confused us. The reason, why it’s 4 stars only, is motivation to improve for the restaurant. Our second dish was a grilled pork, which i believe was a bit hard and I would like the waiter to suggest us to take the sauce with it, bc it was too late to ask and I felt it too dry at the end. The bathroom was a bit too dirty as well, I know there r many people, but you shouldn’t lose ur appetite while washing hands. Perhaps, I liked the restaurant, thanks!!

We have eaten here two times during our stay in Malaga and both times was a awesome experience! We tried the local "pulpito", prawns al pil-pil, patate rellenas, grilled "lomo de cerdo" and the cheesecake. Everything was reeeally good, we will surely come back. If you happen to pass by, take your time to taste the pulpito! It's really the best in the city!

Quality of the food high yet affordable. Experience and service top level!! In this rustic restaurant, cosyness and smiles of the workers are at high standards. If you can, sit at the bar by the grill and you'll even have a cooking show all for you!

Love this place for the authentic vibe and friendly service! Do sit at the bar and try tapas and drinks for a nice price. My favorites were tuna in tomato sauce, fava beans, shrimp salad with tomatoes.

This is a great place to eat tapas. If you eat tapas you can only sit at the bar. They also have menu. The meat here is very delicious. I've eaten here a few times. But today I only eat tapas. Price is reasonable

Amazing tapas bar in the heart of Malaga. Small and cozy. I loved the food there, and great craft local beer. And the prices are affordable. It's a few minutes walking from the Picasso apartment. You won't get lost to find it

Good tapas, nice ambience and a great octopus for just 10 EUR. Some waiters could be more friendly but I get it - it’s a come and go type of place

We went there for dinner last night, and I'm so sorry to give them 3 stars because food (the one we got) was delicious - we had pil pil shrimps, snails and meatballs. All were delicious. But... We ordered octopus with potato and some kind of meat skewers... And waited for them almost 2hour. When we arrived there was only one or two tables so there was no crowd.. I'm nit sure what happened.. After almost hour waiting we reminded waiter that we are waiting for 2 meals, his respon was "It's coming"... After additional 30mins all tables were full and they served new gests with same meal we were still waiting.. 2nd reminder to waiter, his response "It's coming." New guests arrived.. Ordered same as we are and they got the food before us.. 3rd reminder , answer :"It's coming. " Waited for 20 more minutes and left. After all that, waiter was "angry" because we are leaving after almost 2h waiting for food that they served guests who arrived after us... Not on table or two.. But all of them.

Service: Friendly and fast Food: We shared a few media raciones and the overall taste is ok but not something where you would say amazing. Our bread was old. It was super dry. There are some other places that i would prefer but i wanted to try since i was told that they have really good food.

Nice experience but seems a bit rushed, I suppose what happens is the pressure of modern reviews . Overall, a good restaurant with traditional food but pricing a little too high for the level you get. The snails were OK, but too many bitter ones, nice sauce. The squid wasn't at it's best. The beans and ham were quite good. The prawns were excellent. Probably should have had the octopus which looked excellent, unfortunately at another table, not ours. Dry house wine was very average @16€ a bottle The bill was quite high. 6 persons 1 bottle of wine, 2 beers. Water and soft drinks. €150 excl tip. Water only available in small bottles which is not acceptable. Service was rushed and a little hit and miss, several additional items never appeared on the table snd not on the final bill. So, we didn't stay on for more. You do need to book on weekend days at the minute.

Really authentic Tapas bar set of Plaza de La Merced. The Ham was delicious and freshly carved, All of our dishes were tasty, which was a problem… we couldn’t stop eating! Washed down with the house Vermouth which was excellent.

Nice tapas place in Malaga! Inside the bar, we can eat the tapas and at the terrace, it’s only whole dishes! We tired their chargrilled octopus (amazing), manchego cheese (never tried this before, it goes well with the wine, alone or with the bread), migas (fried bread crumbles!). The tapas would go well with any beverages: beer, wine and tinto verano if you want some cocktail-like drink

The food was not as good as we were expecting, the prawns were frozen or overcooked and in general the seafood was not as good as it could have been. We tried the grilled octopus (was great), Tuna and potato and the Pil Pil (prawn), in the end we had to order chorizo and skewers to make up for the seafood.

Great food and friendly service. The octopus was to die far! A good place to just have some cold beer, delicious tapas and relax.

Gem of a place, sit at the bar for the full experience. Order the porc skewers & the grilled chorizo (and everything else on the menu if you're sharing). Total win - The cheese cake is out of this dam universe, thick creamy goodness

Wonderful experience with amazing dishes, cold beer and very good prices! The pulpo en la brasa is amazing! Ask for it when you go there!

Excellent place to get dinner. Plus the vibe is cool. The food was great and the wine was better. There was a wait to get in but once we did service was great and quick.

👍👍 El Corte Inglès was a Tailor shop opened in 1890 (The English Court). The present Company bought the Tailor in 1935 and made it into what it is today with stores throughout Spain. What it is, is a very upmarket store, very much like House of Fraser, and very much loved by the Spanish. If you haven’t...
