The first time in years i haven't left a tip at a restaurant. Service was dreadful. Waiter literally had no interest in looking after us. From the time we walked in to the moment we left i felt like we were a burden on him. Food was ok at best. Starter of oxtail croquettes was good, our mains of steak were ok, not great. My wife got a glass of wine at the start of the evening and wasn't asked again if she wanted another. We ate the main course and no one came near us until i got up to ask for the bill. No dessert menu offered. Really disappointed with the restaurant after it was recommended to us. So many better places in Malaga, my advice to anyone is steer clear of this restaurant.

One the best places to eat meat in Malaga. Sorry, THE BEST place to... Delicious and tasty steaks, salads, desserts and wines. Great location, big and comfortable tables. 5 stars service

We visited the restaurant twice. The first time was OK. That's why I'm giving two stars and not one. During the first visit I ordered a steak. It was good, maybe a bit overpriced but good. We decided do go there again and the second time was terrible. I ordered lamb chops and my girlfriend chicken. We waited 45min for the food to arrive. The portions were ridiculously small. The chicken was tasteless and served with a few vegetables. The lamb chops were small with almost no meat on them. I'd rather eat my arm... Long story short, if you feel like having a steak then give it a try just keep it mind that's it on the expensive side. Stay away from everything else on the menu.

Dear Asador-Team, honestly spoken the food and the service you provided was not worth a penny. We searched for the best Steakhouse in Malaga. Only eating nice tapas and seafood was not satisfying us. After we found Asador, we were mouthwatering and said let's go. After reservation we went there late evening. The dry aged freezer outside was telling us, that the steaks must be good. But then the bad experience started. The interior of the location is not very comfortable, old and completely used. Without any issues on hygienic basis. It was a clean restaurant. After having ordered the steaks, in my case Rib Eye, we were very excited. The other tables have ordered as well, the meat was shown upfront to them, and they ordered. In our case, no meet show, and the steaks came after an estimated time of 10 minutes, which was quite surprising for a steak which should weigh 400gr. Having grilled a lot of steaks in my own, just the rest time of the grilled steak in aluminum foil is 6-8 minutes. Looking at the other tables, the received nice looking granite style plates with side dishes and sharp knifes. In our case, we received only standard and normal ceramic plates. Second difference. The meat was really embarrassing. Never seen something like that. It was grey, not really sharp grilled, no nice and fency stripes on it, the smell was not nice and the taste as well. After having left more than the half of my steak on the plate the service came and ask how it was. We said, we didn't like, it was not good. No reaction, no excuses, nothing. To avoid further discussions and having afterwards a more stressful time, we just ordered the bill and left the bad experience like it was. Hopefully we had just the Monday morning food, but looking at the reviews, some made the same experience.

My mom and I had an excellent experience 🥰 it was very nice the paella with cow, we would like to try the 60 days beef next time, we saw other ppl ordered it and it looks amazing, the beef is very tasty, and the olive oil they use is nice, their red vin also recommended, the bread served in warm. The service is really good.

Im an American and have been eating steak all across Spain and Europe. I believe this place has been the best one I have tried yet. The steak was perfectly cooked and a good price for the quality and the location. I will definitely eat here again. The owner definitely know how to serve and age a steak!

I was two weeks in Málaga and this was the only restaurant where I eat twice. The food was so delicious, the meat was so soft and tender. I never had so good meat before! I can highly recommend a visit!

3 star only for the staff, unfortunately a meal was not good. I am asking one for well done, and the big one for the medium. But you can see the pics what I get the big one I guess max medium rare or rare? The small one after sent back for re-grill, still the medium well...

Average. Nothing to write home about. The food and service was standard and I’d say the price was decent. We got 3 drinks, a water, the tomato salad, the Revuelto de boletus and the 45 day aged Galician beef plus a (so-so chocolate mousse cake). 64€ for 2 people Not bad 🤷🏻‍♀️

Service is fast and nice. Ribera del Duero is always a good choice for a red wine, Selection of meats is ok. Morcilla is very good. Presa Iberica was really good as well. Just one end was a bit chewy. Solomillo Premium is honestly ok but not amazing. There are other places that offer the same meat but with a better taste. Ours was a bit flat. Overall a good place.

I wish I had trusted the bad reviews. Everything is true. The cook is probably a vegan judging by the way he cooks meat and the waiter couldn’t care less. I’ve never had chewier steaks and I’ve been to many steakhouses. We were not the only people who left chewed pieces on the plate.

  • 1/5 Johannes D. 11 months ago on Google
I'll write this briefly: The meat was supposed to be tender. But we couldn't chew it. You won't get your customers back by serving each plate with roughly 10 pieces of fries.... That was our experience for paying 150€ for 3 people. I hope there will be some improvement in this steakhouse.

Perfect service until the Russians arrived and asked for a table of 8. Service then concentrated on them and our table was moved to accommodate them. Why these people are tolerated is down to their spending power. Wonder where that came from? They are just ill-mannered peasants.

Best place to eat matured meat in Malaga. Service was stellar, meat was amazing and wine was great. What else does I need to say?

Steak and jacket potatoes were cold, good quality but cold. Complained and they argued how well done is supposed to be cold. Did not offer to amend. There s acover charge of 2€ per person

Today we celebrated a very important day to us. We had Dried Meat Selection, Beef Tartar and a Blonde Galician Sirlon Steak. A very special thanks to Peter who made our evening unforgettable! He helped us with everything and his Wine Choice was excellent! Thank you very much. We will be back. Tomasz and Mauro Montano

We ordered the lamp chops and there was no meat on them. A bunch of fat and bone. Since we were sharing, we took three off and we all quickly realized they were awful. We told the server who walked away furiously. He delivered a new half order of lamp chops, but by then we were done eating. Once the bill came, we said we would pay for half of the lamp chop dish because we “ate” only half. The server told us no and after some back/forth, she said she would call the police if he didnt pay the full $24 dish! Absolutely outrageous. Funny how this restaurant is supposed to specialize in meat and their lamp chops were the worst I’ve ever had.

Great service, quiet location and food was amazing. Only gave it 3 stars because we asked for medium well and received medium rare.

👍👍 El Corte Inglès was a Tailor shop opened in 1890 (The English Court). The present Company bought the Tailor in 1935 and made it into what it is today with stores throughout Spain. What it is, is a very upmarket store, very much like House of Fraser, and very much loved by the Spanish. If you haven’t...
