Cafe pretending to be a restaurant. The floor is sticky. Tables are dirty. Even the menu with stains. The staff is not friendly at all. I asked for a table and waitress offered us a table with puddle underneath it. I asked her to give us another table cause there is a puddle and she said that it’s not going to rain anymore 😂 No one did anything about it and thought it’s ok to seat the guests at the table with a puddle underneath.

Nice, higher level restaurant, which is placed directly on the Malagueta Beach and offers nice view on the beach. It’s necessary to do reservation of the table during the summer season, because restaurant used to be full in the evenings. The menu consists of sea-food and local specialities. The prices are higher, however it is relevant to the level and location of this restaurant. I ordered only prawn salad, it was tasty, but bit more expensive than I would have expected. Service was great and atmosphere was lively and relaxing. Recommend to visit to those, who would like to have a dinner on nice beachside place and don’t have a problem to pay more for good food.

Had a lovely lunch at this restaurant during the weekend and it couldn't have been more perfect. The food was perfect. Quite traditional southern Spanish dishes with a modern twist and great produce. Portions are big and full of flavour. We had the salad, croquetas and buñuelos de bacalao as starters. Then the fried mini squid and some more yummy fish. For dessert, get the deconstructed cake. It's enormous and so good. It's not cheap, but given the quality of service, produce, dishes and location it makes absolute sense. Perfect for a special occasion.

Don’t recommend! We ordered rice with octopus and the rice was burnt. I felt the smell when they brought the rice and I mentioned to the waiter that this is burnt, but she insisted that this is how it is done traditionally. Well, after trying it, this really tasted very smoky, and I also found a piece of hair in the dish. So we’ve send it back and they admitted this was a mistake. I also disliked the attitude of one of our waiters, who treated us quite unfriendly and with superiority. So, if you go to Malagueta beach, better try to eat at a Chiringuito, a much better experience.

While looking forward to exceptional food for the high price, sadly the paella was burned, very dry and tasteless. Four out of six people in our group felt sick after eating. Also the waitress ignored any comment for the food and walked away without acknowledging it. Can’t recommend to visit if you are in Malaga.

Love this restaurant. Visit every time I come to Malaga! Staff were so attentive. The oxtail is cooked beautifully and the tartare is made to specification of spice. The restaurant realised that my mum had been served her main with our starters and sent over a chocolate cake complimentary so that she wasn't sitting with nothing whilst we were eating main course. They then managed to make a 'calypso coffee' from scratch. Was such a nice experience.

The location is perfect. The food is below average and overpriced. I had the Iberian specialty; it was dry, not hot, overcooked, less then 200 gr of meat. €28,-- The location is nice though. Service could be better for that price.

It was fine from the beginning with nice dining hall design and good looking and tasty food. Some not nice things started when waiter couple times did mistakes in orders, but chery on the pie was that we found metallic thread from cleaning sponge in a dish of cooked ox tail. And it happened only at the end when the dish was eaten 😔. They didn't include just that dish into bill, but the mood and impression was spoiled.

This place is GREAT! I struggle as a solo traveler to find respect in Spain. This place was accommodating and the service was impeccable. They appreciate your business vs others around then. Enjoyed shrimp, mussels and squid. Plus the wine and bailey’s was amazing. Definitely coming back.

This was a great place to have a more complete dinner and it was by far our most exquisite in Màlaga, so far. We arrived at 8pm and were the only patrons until almost 9pm, which concerned us at first, but it meant we had the full attention of the staff. And the staff were all wonderful. I think we just eat too early, comparatively. We started off with a sausage tartar that was really well seasoned. For dinner, she had monkfish and I had tuna. Both plates were very well balanced, hers with a crab sauce and mine with a spicy vinegary sauce. For desert we had another balanced plate of something like chocolate lava cake with a shortbread tower around it. It was quite good. They have a good selection of local and Spanish wines. We enjoyed the one we selected, but our waiter recommended some others. We will have to try them on our next visit!

I have rarely experienced so little service and from the waiter as here ever. He was rude to me and my brother so never going back to that place. Even other customers got the same treatment! Better find a service minded place instead of this one.

I had sole fish not clean properly, so i could see the intestines on my plate, boiled potatoes which i could not eat due to being all black inside. Not a pleasant experience.

Terrible experience. Not even butter or olive oil served with bread. Paella rice was hard and not cooked so returned. The main course took over 40 minutes to serve and came all separately so could not eat together as a Family. The toasted noodles were not cooked and ahrd so also returned. The staff did not give any updates or care. Avoid if possible.

Bad quality and service for such high prices. The view is nice as it is directly on the beach. However, taking into account high prices, we were expecting something very special. Bread was served at the start without asking if we want it, and we had to pay for the bread at the end. Not even butter or olive oil served with bread, like for the guests at other tables. We asked for olives and butter separately and had to wait for couple of minutes for each to be served. Waiting time for the main course was over 30 min. Waiters forgot to bring some orders and we had to remind them couple of times. Overall, it is very overrated and not recommended.

I checked out the menu in 4 different fish restaurants. This one looked the cheapest. €10 budget/day And it was so delicious. Russian potato salad with tuna and fresh bread. I would like to eat here again. Paella next to a window. Amazing view to the beach.

In general, it is good. The food is amazing, yet I don't feel it can justify the price. Both the clams and millefeuille are on point, but I quite expensive imo. The turbot dish is the killer of the night. I'm trying to find the full name (either English or Spanish is fine for me) of the dish, but the menu I found online is not updated yet. If the restaurant reads this review, please leave a comment of the full name of the dish. Thank you again for your service!

Waiting is not for everyone and the older gentleman waiter was proof of that. He was rude and neglectful. He also misdirected us when we asked about the food. I would avoid this place if you would like not to get annoyed by such behaviour.

Lovely place and very friendly stuff. The soup was out of this world. I haven't try something like it before and the desert was very delicious

Food was overall delicious. Staff were very friendly as well. What strikes me as strange, or even weird, is how the prawn tails tasted in the Spanish rice dish we ordered. I only knew that prawn tails could taste between juicy and rubbery until I had the prawn tails in the paella. It was a mushy taste that didn’t remind me of prawns at all. The whole time I was eating it, I was questioning my taste buds. I don’t know what they’ve done with them, but I didn’t like them at all.

👍👍 El Corte Inglès was a Tailor shop opened in 1890 (The English Court). The present Company bought the Tailor in 1935 and made it into what it is today with stores throughout Spain. What it is, is a very upmarket store, very much like House of Fraser, and very much loved by the Spanish. If you haven’t...
