Restaurant by the river in the centre of Mâcon. Reservation is required, as this is a popular venue. This restaurant is known for quality beef and traditional French cuisine. An impressive wine list for a restaurant of this allure, with some unknown beauties (as was this Gevrey-Duresses 1er cru!) The alcoholic ice cream offering is quite over the top, and you're guaranteed a buzz after. Good service, excellent food.

This was the worst restaurant experience we've had in a very long time. The menu is over priced and the food is well below average. Red wine served ice cold, beef 'burger' was pieces of rubbery cuts moulded together, poke mix (XL) was a tiny portion, made 'fancy' with a bit of foam and warm lettuce, steak was low quality cut, dry and chewy. Service was terrible, slow and unfriendly. All in all, awful.

Nice meat cuts for the right price. Wine (white) quality is ok but can be improved by some more balanced wines, but that could just be taste.

I really like the food here and I've had a good experience in the past but today I choked on my food and couldn't breathe, I thought I'd die and the waiter/waitress didn't do anything, fortunately my friends and girlfriend was there and helped me get it out. My friend said the steak was not well cut and there was a lot of stringy fat and the waiter just said "I don't know I'm sorry" and we still had to pay full price for everything. I don't think I want to go here anymore.

Very disappointed. My entrecote was fairly good. My wife's faux filet, however, was a disaster! Extremely hard and partially didn't even manage to cut. Could eat less than half. When we were asked how it was, we voiced our discontent. We were just told we should have said this earlier. And that was it. No excuse, nothing.

We went there this afternoon at 13:45 while most restaurants would probably refuse to serve us as they are supposed to close at 14:00. We are very happy being served. The food were well cooked and delicious. Staffs were very nice to us.

Perfect for lunch and dinner ! Very very nice if the menu is ok for you. Good good Salad !!!
