Great food and very polite employees! Also a very clean and cozy atmosphere.

The French onion soup, the stew, the croquettes and the chicken sandwich were all amazing. The food portions are very well sized and the service was quick. The servers could speak in a few different languages - English, Dutch and French. Would certainly recommend this place for a lunch, and maybe a quick supercharge for Teslas.

Nice place when you have to charge your EV at Tesla, chargers are open for all brands just need the Tesla App...close to Maastricht 10min from city...during summer there's a nice outside playground during winter nice inside playground

De dwaze herder is a very handy place to stop to have lunch, there is a large Tesla supercharger located next to the restaurant. The staff was very friendly, the food was good in particular the Pizza’s, Toasties and Kippenragout. I found the prices very fair and the indoor seating arrangements are very good.

the place is open until 22.00, so we have arrived at 20.30 and were told that the kitchen is closed.

Very nice place for families. Has an indoor park and big garden with animals. Kids friendly menu and helpful staff.

Awesome highway restaurant with huge amount of space, food choices and a separate place for toddlers to play around.

Good food, nice staff, nicely decorated

The kids loved it! It's right off the highway and family friendly. But the food...it was lacking. The nachos were terrible, with the "guacamole" and "tomato salsa" placed on some sort of flavored tortilla chips.

I was to a kids bday and I loved the place , so many and diverse activities for the little ones. The tea sandwiches and the sweets were delicious, only the seafood was to salty for my taste. The service at the table was pleasant, a bit slowly because it was crowded.

Good weekend spot for a young family.

The current staff believed it was more important to get home on time, kitchen closed before closing time. Was even too much effort to provide us snacks or anything. Unfortunate display of poor customer service and unwillingness to help. If your kitchen is supposed to be open until 20:30 then you need to respect is as customers plan their day around it.

The food was very good! The attention from the Employees and the and the Owner was really Nice. We were 14 women and I got a lot of compliments about that Eve😉 for my Friends that were not familiar with this place. I very much Recommend this Restaurant/Bistrô. Absolutely if you have kids🥰 I just found a lot of money for a can of tap water😒😒😒 3.60€ at dinner... Thanks a lot for the Amazing time

Good place for kids, also for kiddy parties

Really enjoyed lunch. Soup was a bit pedestrian. Nothing special but I had the chicken salad which was divine and then followed this with the caramel surprise. It was delicious.

It is hard to make a lot of this playground cum resturaunt. While the food leaves a lot to be desired, it is a perfect place for a pit stop to sit in the open fields with or without your kids

Loved it, menu has delicious selections, indoor and outdoor playgrounds are so good. Also they have some animals at out door area such as kangaroos, lama, ponies, owl etc. Highly recommend.

Got a dine in coffee but a great place for young children. No entry charge and there is a playground plus lots of animals. They had a varied lunch menu and the place was very busy.
