If you have an appointment at MUMC then this is a great location. However the restaurant food is absolutely awful, the bartender can't seem to figure out how to make drinks that are not on the menu, and staff unwilling to help return something I accidentally left in my room (my glasses!!!). Not recommended.

Excellent, really enjoyed our weekend stay here! The breakfast is great, lots of options for everyone, and I really appreciated that it's till 11-12. The 5pm lazy sunday checkout was also fantastic, you don't come across late check out like that often. The room was spacious and comfortable. Everything was clean and tidy. The kettle and tea/coffee in the room was appreciated.

We stayed at this hotel when our daughter was in the nearby hospital for treatment. The reduced room rate as a sponsorship to the fully booked Ronald McDonald house is heart-warming. Although at first the hotel was fully booked on one day the staff did their best to secure a room for us. The breakfast is one of the best I've ever seen in a hotel. I want to thank the staff for their splendid work.

I received a room with an unbearable smell of smoke (around 17:30). I went to the counter to ask for another room and I received 2 options: I should wait 30 min so the housekeeper would open the door and windows and spray some deodorant/perfume and see if that improves the smell or I should seek for another hotel (sic), unfortunately, this was not a joke. Allegedly, the hotel was full but after waiting a while, and some discussion, magically there was a room available so I received another room. Even worst, I arrived at the hotel at 13:20 and if I wanted the room I should pay 25 EUR (for being 1:30 hours earlierā€¦) I did not take that option and I went to visit the city. Finally, I did the check-in at 17:30, so you had more than 4 hours to properly clean the room. The whole situation and the options that I received were inadmisible

A very special hotel located approximately at the MECC business center . It is an ideal location for businessmen looking for less noise comfort , as it is outside the center of the city of Maastricht . Chicly decorated with modern furniture , the bar , the restaurants , and the meeting rooms are undisputedly clean , the rooms are spacious and clean . The staff are respectful .

A nice hotel with a great bar. Pity it closed early. The receptionist was a bit rude especially when we were trying to find our room as there are two parts to the hotel. She just looked at us as if we were stupid and pointed to the other lifts. On arrival to our room it was a big disappointment I bet this was the old side of the hotel as it was very dated and the corridors very loud. The other side seemed much nicer with soundproofed corridors. This could be a really nice hotel if they sort the Norman Bates wing out. Breakfast was good except the sausages , like the ones you get in a tin of beans , how hard is it to get decent sausage!

Hotel was comfortable and clean, away from the humdrum of a busy town centre. Lovely breakfasts, gym well equipped and the sauna was large and roomy.

It was a really old hotel. Before my review I checked other comments answers were always thank and appreciate for the commentsā€¦ but thatā€™s not the point. One elevator was not working. Air-conditioning was not working. Moisture smelling was coming from the carpets. Old style plugs and missing drawers, bulbsā€¦ No socket for charging at the bedsideā€¦ Hotel is definitely need renovation That is the truth I am sory This hotel does not suit the Nh brand at all šŸ˜”

This hotel would get 5* if parking was free. Trying to get someone by email is impossible, I need an invoice printed out from my previous stay. I still have yet to receive a correct invoice, may i have an email address where i can write?

The hotel is very beautiful and luxurious from the outside and the hallway area. It has a sauna and a gym. Rooms on the other hand are just normal Bathroom is not good. It's small and dosen't look very clean. The floor of the room is also not that clean. Still it was a good value Hotel and cam be recommended.

The worst experience I had ever .. Unprofessional deal with my complain Even with reception supervisor I told them (I lost my towels ) could the house keeper got it with other towels because it resembles to it as it has white color.. They said ( not our fault , why not inform us thatā€™s your towel has white color Or why you did not put the sign not to clean the room !!!!!) Unbelievable what the logic we have here.. May be they donā€™t know how they provide hotel service such ..safety!! I reported thatā€™s to the company as well They should not use this hotel again ā€¦

I recently stayed at the NH Hotel and had a fantastic experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. My room was clean and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast buffet, which had a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. The staff in the dining room were also very attentive and went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. BUS stop is next to hotel, you can get bus no 1,5,10 which will take you most of the places in and around. Overall, my stay at the NH Hotel was fantastic and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in the area.

The rooms are big and comfortable. The location is next to congress center MECC. The price is good compare to other hotels in the area. It is very convinient for business trip and vacation. The transport to the center is by a train on every 30 min. with ticket price 1.3 euro.

A little bit tired, bot good hotel for short-term stay. Rich and delicious breakfasts. Very busy in all days of week. Basic rooms do not include air conditioning. Liddl is in 10-minute-walk. City center is in 40-minute-walk. Hotel os situated close to hospital and university.

The rooms are slightly outdated, you can see that on small details like not have a single plug close to the bed because they were designed well before phones and etc. However, the hotel is well kept, rooms and very clean and spacious. The staff was nice and helpful. The spa area was a big plus for the hotel. The only con is the location, if you're not attending something at the MECC it might be not super convinient. There's nothing much around the area.

Excellent, very attentive staff. Nice room. Dinner buffet as part of Andre Rieu concert very adequate with a good choice. Note. The restaurant staff will take your plate away very quickly if you leave the table unattended. Excellent bus service into the city.

Very friendly and kind staff. We didnt like the first room we were allocated. When asked they immediately arranged for another one. The breakfast spread was great!

I arrived after 11pm and the check in was OK . On requesting an extended check out, I was informed that this is not possible as there are no rooms. At the same time, rooms were visible as available on the NH website and other hotel booking apps. I was given a breakfast voucher to be used at any NH hotel in the future. when i showed thsi voucher at the next NH hotel, they did not accept this and said they have never seen anything like this

The room was very old and not very clean; the chairs were discoloured by use, the toilet sit had stains clearly by someone who used it before, it was dusty and at some point the power went down (something wrong with the fuse box), while the only plugs in-use were the phone charger and a floor light. Not close to the centrum but easily accessible by public transport.

Last December 2021 while on vacation my husband had a heart attack and was in the hospital at UMC across the street. I spent over 4 weeks there at the hotel. Everyone was so kind while I was there. I was there on my own from the United States during the lockdown in the Netherlands and through Christmas. Angela was very kind on many occasions. I canā€™t tell you how thoughtful she and the staff were during my stay there. They were very helpful and I canā€™t say enough positive things to say about my stay at this hotel. I am grateful for their help during this difficult time. Thank you. I only apologize I had not sent this sooner. We are very blessed my husband survived and we have returned home. Thank you again for your thoughtfulness while I was there. Karen Kendall

Receptionist didn't want to speak Dutch. No amenities in the bathroom, everything on demand by qr code like during covid times. Minibar empty. Kitchen closed due no cook. Hospitality was below average. So this was more a 2-3 stars hotel than 4 stars.

All super, although a bit remote from the city center there is an excellent connection with the city busses that come in max 5 minute interval. Nice and quiet and all you need is at hand at the hotel. Top!

Got accessible prices for this hotel, 2 days stay. Rooms and service were very good (best shower ever), but located 30 mins walk from town center, so had to take bus or train or walk to get there every morning and evening. Buses and trains are very close to the hotel door.

We stayed in the hotel for Easter weekend. When we arrived there was a refreshing drink and some Easter chocolates to enjoy while in line for the check inn, which wasn't very long. We enjoyed staying in the clean, bright and spacious room - not the newest decoration, but just nice. The breakfast buffet was very good, there was a varied choice of hot and cold breakfast. Being in Maastricht there was even 'vlaai', the local speciality and Easter stollen as well. Staff was very friendly and we'd love to visit again.

Very nice service. I loved the hospitality of their staff. Only that they didnā€™t offer fried eggs/ommulette at breakfast when I stayed over but i am sure it would be nice if they had it.

I really tried to give this hotel a chance but one night the bar ist closed for drinks, second night no food for lunch and dinner and not even a place to sit to get some takeout food. If you would like to have a massage . . . Try July apparently they are fully booked until then. Rooms are not cleaned - advertised services not available and the list goes on.

Very disappointed with the service. The hotel that sent me an email just the day before I checked in to let me know that their restaurant won't be open for lunch or dinner. As the hotel is far from the city centre, this was very inconvenient since I wasn't driving. Eventually, I had to book elsewhere. I prepaid online and, despite the lack of restaurant facilities and the last minute change to my booking, they refused to refund me. As an NH member, I was disappointed that they could change the facilities (dining) but inflexible with refunding the member the full amount. This gives me an extremely bad impression with this hotel.

The hotel is a bit dated and could do with some renovation. The staff are friendly and professional and the breakfast is excellent. The rooms do not have air conditioning, so they can get hot during the day.

The hotel is located very conveniently to the MECC. Other than that, there is nothing around you, and you have to take the train to the next station for everything else. Rooms are spacious and clean. The furniture are a bit old but it is okay. The breakfast is excellent.

Located out of town but close to railway station. I would call this hotel functional clean and basic. It served its purpose for us to attend the Andre Rieu concert. Buffet breakfast overcrowded and very basic, no prepared fresh fruit for example. Room needed dusting, shower leaked on to the floor. The bar lounge was never open during our 3 day stay. Outlook is onto carparks and buildings.

Large hotel adjacent to the convention centre. Emphasis is on volume rather than service. Rooms are outdated and are in need of refurbishment. Breakfast buffet is alright, however lacks action stations for egg dishes, waffles, pancakes etc. Quality of food in main restaurant is average, expect slow service when hotel is full. Overall, an adequate hotel when attending a conference next door, however not suited for a weekend getaway or a family holiday.

Room smelled of old smoke and dust. Water was either burning hot in the shower or freezing cold. Uncomfortable bed. 99% certain the expensive charger/adapter I am missing was stolen by the cleaning staff. Great breakfast and friendly staff at reception otherwise, but this is the only reason I am providing more than a one star.

We entered the hotel... after a long day of travel. Zella came up to us as we entered the lobby, and warmly offered us delicious waffles And marble cake... other than being delicious/ she was so warm and made us feel so so welcome.

My partner and I have visited NH hotel maastricht during the horse riding events. The hotel looks excellent and the rooms are very comfortable. In The restaurant we had carpaccio and Caesar salad which were very tasty, house wine Verdejo is great too! Main dish chicken with a nice green pepper sauce. Then in the morning the breakfast buffet had everything I wished for. Great place!

From the moment we checked into the hotel, Zella took absolute great care of us with wonderful waffles and nice conversation. After our show, Wesley provided great cocktails and conversations at the bar. This is our second time to Maastricht and we felt very welcome. Dankjewel šŸ‡³šŸ‡±šŸ™šŸ½ā€¼ļø

Amazing staff! So helpful and kind! I had an issue with my bag and they helped me solve it. The bedroom was just incredible! Very clean and impeccable. Only bad point is that we had asked for a double and a twin was offered, but it was a comfortable bed. Breakfast is really good, they offer all kinds of meal for many different cultures

Could be better. The rooms were decorated in a very old fashioned way. Wall mounted hairdryer fell off the wall every time itā€™s touched and was broken after 1st use. Put a ā€˜please cleanā€™ sign on the door but nothing was cleaned. 3 out of the 4 key cards wonā€™t work no matter what. 1 out of the 2 still wonā€™t work even after changing. Overall a lot of broken parts for a 4 star hotel.
