We just had brunch at the Brasserie, that’s why there’s no reviews about the room. The food was nice, we sat at the terrace on a sunny day 🌞 service was quiet friendly ☺️

Rude staff. Ordered appetizers over an hour ago and they never brought it. The member of staff was back talking and telling me that I could leave if I want to go somewhere else. Would definitely not recommend coming here. Highly overpriced too.

We have just returned from a return visit to the Hotel Britannique after a weekend in Maastricht for the Andre Rieu concert. The hotel is exceptionally well kept, beautifully presented, spotlessly clean, really comfortable and has fantastic food. Kyona and Tim (who run the hotel) and their staff (who are clearly highly trained in impeccable customer service) are really welcoming and friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. The atmosphere created by the whole team makes you feel so special and totally relaxed and cared for throughout your stay. I can only highly praise every one of them for, yet again, making our stay a truly wonderful experience.

Bad smell in the room, suage smell in the bathroom. Freezing room and everything the staff switched off the heater. Bad service. We have been stucked in the park for 20min because the staff didn’t give us the exit ticket. Room in the second floor with no elevator and there was no information in the website. Not a 4 stars hotels.

Nothing wrong with the place, very cozy quiet rooms. But hard to understand why room rates are over 250/ night for a room without tub, no breakfast, parking extra.... Very expensive. I guess because of the location they feel they can get away with it.

The Caesar salad has no lettuce and no veggies. Do not order !!!

We had a meal here. The bed stew was tasty but the asparagus soup was a little too heavy. The service was nothing to compliment them for.

We only had dinner here. We ordered the lasagna bolognese. It was very nice, with a lot of salad on the side with some bread. A good hot plate, definitely recommend having dinner here. Not the cheapest place, but also not the most expensive.

We had dinner here. The service is very slow, and the food is just average given the price. They won't even refill your mint tea with more hot water, and they charge extra for honey in your mint tea!!! I would not eat here ever again. Better options available at Onze Lieve Vrouw Plein just 5 mins away

The most elegant and beautiful restaurant & hotel of the Vrijthof. Food and cocktails are excellent! The espresso martini my favorite! Also the service is amazing and always very friendly and helpful. Absolutely recommending this place when visiting the Vrijthof in Maastricht.

Today I went with my boyfriend to the city center to grab a nice drink so we stopped at Britannique. What a big mistake! First, the waitress started off rude and the drinks were extremely expensive. But that's fine I don't mind paying a bit of extra money for the location though the cafe's next to the Britannique are cheaper. Anyway me and my boyfriend got are drinks and then a group of 8 people who where clearly not a family sat next to us, which is against the law now because of the corona virus. They sat extremely close to us with the man's chair touching my boyfriends chair. So we felt uncomfortable and pushed are table and chairs a little further away so that we where not near people. Then the waitress snorted at us with an agressive tone that we should not move the chairs. So we explained that my boyfriend works as a caretaker and we where trying to be carefull thats why we moved the tables. Then she yelled that we should sit somewhere els. I myself work as a waitress and I would never say something like that to a geust with that tone plus If they where troubled I would help then carry their drink ect. to another table if it was that much of a problem. After that she gave us dirty looks and was just extremly rude. But most of all Britannique was breaking the law putting their custumors at risk. Not caring about the virus or how it could harm and cause death to others. Because I have seen it happen so much this year so for them to make an unsafe place for their geusts and not follow the law is just insane to me.

Me and my girlfriend stayed over for her birthday last weekend. The people were very friendly, the food was good and we loved the wine! Overall, remarkable service and an excellent stay.

Food ok… service not so… asked for cup tea to be re-filled with boiling water as it was cold.. was told we would be charged for new cup. I see a similar review from a year ago. Only time ever refused.. ever!
