Astonishing historic fortifications just outside of city center and a bit off the beaten path. Paths run along the top and bottom of these impressive fortifications, with the beautiful backdrop of Maastricht ever-present.

Really underrated historical place very close to the center where you can find peace in a busy city as Maastricht. You walk along the paths and find yourself immersed in the historical Maastricht. Very quiet and peaceful if you need to have some time for yourself

One of my favourite spots in the city. The Frontenpark is one large, rugged park along the west of the centre of the city, and it's divided between the hilly Hoge Fronten and the newly renovated and water-rich Lage Fronten. The two parts are connected through a dry moat for foot traffic.

Absolutely beautiful park, includes an off-leash dog area.

Nice area in the city for a stroll. It's overgrown on purpose but maintained just enough where you're not walking through tall weeds and grass.

Drei Sterne, da er nur für PKWS zum parken ist. Zu Maastrich selbst sag ich, viele sehr viele kleine Kneipen, Bars, Restaurants usw. sehr nette Menschen dort.

Very nice park, one that you can bring your dog(s) and also occasionally see sheep. Very nice on a sunny day but can be quite muddy when it rains.

Nice place for walk❤️ Be careful though because there are places you can fell off and there is no protective barrier or fence!

Very beautiful historical place in the middle of the city.

Lovely place for the dogs to run, sniff and be themselves. Ample places to climb and explore. I love jogging here!

Great for private walks. Very quiet and secluded. It's also really close to the city center.
