This was an amazing find! Exactly what you need from a “boutique” hotel - small, modern, clean, great service. The owners clearly put a lot of effort in the concept and the result is fun, but not too overbearing. We will absolutely come back! Few of the rooms are ground level, so if you don’t like that make sure to ask for the first floor.

Very unique hotel, every room is special. Very quiet and extremely comfortable beds! Breakfast was fantastic. A bit pricey, but OK, it's basically in the middle of Maastricht. Definitely recommend.

Cousins Hotel epitomizes modern luxury. Jean was very hospitable and made us feel well taken care of from the moment we arrived. Each room has a unique design to pay homage to the history of the building (it is a converted hat factory!), but features every amenity you could need. The breakfast was delicious, the staff was wonderful, and we can’t wait to return!

Wanted a base to explore Maastricht, so chose to stay here for three nights. It proved to be a really good choice! Service is excellent, rooms are comfortable and breakfast is good and the location makes exploring the city on foot easy. I really liked the "industrial" look, with metal stairs and plain concrete walls visible. There are also small touches such as the three vinyl LPs and the record player in the room that just add to the overall feel of the place. Next time we pass through Maastricht we will be back.

What can I say the hotel itself only open for 4 months has been lovingly created with such an eye for design and style. De 2 jonge sympathieke jonge mannen (neven van elkaar= “Cousins”) hebben dit historische pand wat jarenlang in bezit van de familie is (ooit een hoedenwinkel/fabriekje geweest) samen onder handen genomen. Met recht, een succes! We vierden mijn verjaardag afg zaterdag 13 aug in Maastricht, dit was echt een feest om bij deze jongens te hebben gelogeerd.
