a VERY casual place. Mostly children playing pool and adults sitting at the bar or slots. Only one side has air conditioning so not ideal for hot days.

Nice and cozy best local bar for me in harties, everyone is friendly and talkative, with foodzone right around the corner. Energetic and friendly staff who wil greet you the moment they see you aswell as the local regulars

It's OK. Didn't eat there but it is more for the young crowd. I think they need to check IDs

My first visit was enjoyable enough but my second visit was absolutely appalling. The staff treated us as if they were doing their patrons a "favour" by serving us. The rudeness was simply shocking. My friends and family and I will now simply never ever return there. Plain and simple.

WHEN VISTING THIS ESTABLISHMENT, KEEP YOUR WITS ABOUT YOU AND COME PREPARED WITH SOME FORM OF IMMEDIATE EXIT STRATEGY AT A DROP OF THE HAT! Duitswes kombuis is a local pub and pool bar found in Schoemansville, Hartebesspoort. Inside, it's very basic in appearance and forms a horse shoe shape, which is split by a central seated area, with a dark and gloomy pub on one flank and another bar area and pool tables on the other flank. Both areas have gambling machines stuck away wherever space permits! It appears to be a Local watering hole for those with a taste for Gambling, Brandy and Coke, Bar snacks, and drunken bar altercations and even street brawls which I unfortunately witnessed on my very first visit to the place! It is not really suitable for the family and is not for the faint hearted! Go prepared to be harrased by the drunken locals and witness the disturbing sight of adults bringing their under-aged kids and toddlers into a highly volatile adult environment! The owner should do better to try and keep children out of this kind of establishment. And should definitely employ a doorman to escort trouble makers off the property, in order to keep the peace for those wanting a nice fun night out!
