Best Restaurant in Madrid I went to. Went here for lunch and dinner another day. Service was wonderful both times. So many different, wonderful menu choices. Indoor and sidewalk seating on a quiet, lovely street. You can't go wrong eating here.

Best vegan tortilla I’ve eaten in madrid. Also very much enjoyed the nachos with guacamole and soy mince dip. If you want a change from the traditional tapas and enjoy healthy food, check this place out.

My sister and I had a great meal and experience here last night. We had the Lágrimas de Heura and Mestiza tostas for starters, both really good and big portions. For main course we shared a pizza, half side Carbonara and half side Beata, which was also delicious. For dessert we had the chocolate peanut cake from Freedom Cakes, it was SO good and tasted exactly how a cake should; very fluffy and rich. The sangria was also great and came with a little appetizer. The woman who served us was very attentive and nice and spoke English perfectly. Our bill came out to 40€, which was fairly reasonable for the amount of food we got. We will definitely come back next time we’re in Madrid!

Great vegan food and really nice waitress who helped my wife pick her burger (Santuario Vegan) . You can have two different halves of pizza which is nice (we chose Vegetal and Beata). Really nice atmosphere as well. Definitely recommend.

Our lunch for two on Saturday was great! We ordered Croquetas, tortilla, Chauen tosta and Cesar salad. Everything delicious and big portions. Ah, and the limonade was excellent too!! Service and atmosphere also fantastic.

Overrated (I would say 3.5-3.7 is a realistic approximation), overpriced, vegan options are OK but quality below average of general other vegan places (EU and worldwide). Burger was too dry (beans patty deep fried), too much bun bread too little (basically absent) sauces/salsas, luckily ordered additional guacamole (good quality, too small portion though for a single burger). Vegetal pizza was below average - too soggy towards the center of the pizza, though many vegetables piled on the pizza Staff/waiters had a bit of attitude (not on the positive side), almost finding ways to send us and other customers away - though places visibly available, they either said no places available or required reservation. On the hygiene side much work to do. As a place welcoming dogs, this is nice but not cleaning/disinfecting hands after petting a dog and changing the dogs "snacks metallic bowl" (which btw goes back on the main bar near clean cutlery and drinks and plates) - is definitely an appetite and enthusiasm killer...

Our favorite vegan restaurant in Madrid! The cheese /charcuterie plate was so good. I’ve never had a vegan Camembert taste so similar to the dairy version. Great service and delicious food!!

Great spot for vegan tapas, burgers, bocadillos and many more vegan dishes. The staff is super friendly and they also allow dogs in (free pet food and water). They are located few minutes away from the Plaza Mayor, easy to get there by foot. Highly recommend and it will definitely be on my Madrid spots list.

An authentic Spanish restaurant with a full vegan menu. I loved the atmosphere and friendly staff. I had a "shrimps" for starter, hamburger for main course and local hand made moose for desert. It all tasted very good and I would love to eat here again.

What a pleasant discovery! We were just passing by, and didn’t see Santa y Pura only served vegan food. The mixed platter and burrito we chose tasted delicious, and the wines were very good and served at a perfect temperature. Highly recommended!

Very lovely vegan food and people. Because we can not eat onion and garlic, they try their best to prepare the food we can eat. We very enjoyed the food here.

Loved this place - so nice as vegetarians to go into a bar and order anything off the menu and not have to worry about whether it contained meat or not. We loved our dinner, the staff were so so lovely and the food was amazing plus it was all great value. A gem in Madrid!!

Great tortilla de patatas, and one of the best vegan cakes I had in a while, I will definitely come back next time I'm in Madrid! The staff was nice, too!

The vegan vegetal pizza i had was super yummy and fresh. At that moment i was eating there i was in bit of a hurry to catch the next train. They were very kind and also did everything they could to make me catch my train. So besides the great food the personal was very lovely too. 100% recommendation for amazing food and a pleasant environment!

Visited twice within two week Spanish vacation... The first time, heavily recommended by MAD MAD Vegan, another cool vegan restaurant-bar in Madrid, and hugely impressed, beginning with the thin-sliced calabacin "bruschetta" that came with our beer, to the entrees... Cool little place, great and engaging wait staff, and (overall) people that obviously care. Special mention to Jaime, who provided my wife with an ice pack for her swelling ankle, which she had twisted earlier and sprained. Thank you, very much! Hope to visit again next time...

Tasty nachos. Burrito very nice but needed more veg, less rice. Pizza soggy and we didn’t eat it. 4 main meals came out at various times, 20 minutes apart was the longest.

Great vegan restaurant in a nice area of Madrid. The food was so good! Nice selection of dishes and deserts also. The staff were spot on! Very helpful in recommendations and very quick service. Indoor and outdoor dining in this vibrant area. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!

Extremely tasty vegan food! It is more on the expensive side (but there are more expensive vegan places), however the tapas are good! English menu available online and in store for tourists!

Really lovely people. A delicious pickled cucumber bruschetta tapas while you order and I then had the huera tears and avocado salad. Delicious.

Overall fine experience, but leaves a bit to be desired. The calamari tapas were definitely under seasoned, but the aioli that came with them helped with that a lot. The potatoes that came with the chicken burger were cut pretty haphazardly, which lead to not all of them being cooked through. The tomatoes on the burger were cut almost like thick wedges so they fell out of the sandwich. On a positive note: the chicken burger itself was very tasty, especially the bbq sauce on it! Also, they started the meal with free bread topped with a delicious zucchini marinated in vinegar, olive oil, garlic, and salt. Very fresh tasting! My favorite part of the meal!

This is a really lovely bar, with great food. The vegan calamari is amazing, the texture and taste are spot on. The food was brilliant, with very large portions. The bar was busy when we went. The service was initially brilliant, but it was a bit difficult to get staff's attention for more drinks. The sangria wasn't the best, it was pretty sweet with undissolved sugar at the bottom and a lot of cinnamon on top. Other than that I'd recommend this place.

Everything was amazing!! Some vegan restaurants serve “good food for being vegan” but this food is just good with no other stipulation. We Plan on coming back tomorrow to try the rest of the menu! Great price Great portions Great service! Also I’m not even vegan and this has been one of my favorite restaurants so far in Madrid

The four of us visited the restaurant yesterday. Food was all very delicious, fresh and the service friendly and helpful. Warm recommendations from us. Will definitely visit again if in Madrid. We didn't get to try the desserts since we were so full of all yummy tapas. Crocetts were wonderful. Thank you for an excellent vegan experience in the land of jamon.

AMAZING sangria. Huera nuggets were good. Gazpacho was alright, as were the batata bravas and empanada. It made for a cute neighbourhood hang.

Santa y Pura is one of the best vegan restaurants I have ever visited. The food was absolutely amazing - all the flavours and textures just in the perfectly right place as they could be expected or imagined. - We had patatas bravas - got perfectly fresh and hot cooked potatoes with tasty paprika sauce. - We had an Entrante Especial (for 2 persons), featuring also fresh and perfectly prepared types of dishes - We also had burritos which could have been rich and tasteful enough on their own not even mentioning it's fantastic sauces. (We had to take away one of the burritos after all) The staff is lovely, the place has perfect ethical vegan vibes. A must visit if you are in Madrid!

A lovely cafe with tons of smiles, a plant-forward interior design, and nifty, upcycled decorations. An order of tea and Mahou came with potato crisps and a flavorful zucchini tapa. We started with a mixed appetizer plate comprised of pasta bravas (good) fried cauliflower (outstanding!), tasty baba ganoush (served as a baked eggplant half), some greens, and average focaccia. Initially we had plans to get the vegan charcuterie plate as well, but after the first shared appetizer, we left satisfied and happy. I heard more laughter from the kitchen than in a syndicated sitcom. I might have toove to Madrid and start a new career.

Located in the heart of the city, and very close to Atocha, Santa y Pura has a great menu with burgers, pizzas, and several less standard dishes including babaganoush, empanada argentina, papas bravas, and a range of salad which is also included in a combo dish. The chocolate cake I've eaten was superb. Reserve in advance, when I was there (Sunday lunchtime) it was crowded!

Waitress spoke English and was very attentive. Upon entering she led me to a table and gave me the wifi password for the restaurant's wifi and asked if everything was to my liking at the end. I ordered spanish omelette and spanish charquterie. Both were extremely tasty. The plant based chorizo was divine. Normally vegan cheese doesn't taste good without warming it at least in my country but the 3 kind of cheese that came with the chorizo was extemely tasty. I was also given a candy while paying for my order. I was very happy with this place.

Great service - the proprietor speaks some English. Hearty portions, good prices, and good flavors on everything! Better than many non-vegan places (I’m not vegan). Charming space. Lightning fast Wi-Fi if you have any chores to do while you’re dining! Tiny downside would be a small-ish menu outside of the burger and pizza options. Great spot!

A lovely vegan restaurant. It's great to have so many options. We particularly liked the vegan calamari. Very reasonably priced, had food and two drinks each for two people and came in at under €40

Vegan mushroom croquette was rich and delicious. Hard to finish as just one person! Staff was very helpful / friendly and had a cute vibe with outdoor patio + free wifi. Definitely recommend, especially after an afternoon at Reina Sofia!

This place is great! Food is delicious, portions are big, prices aren't high, the staff is very nice and the location is good too. The tortilla was amazing, the serranito sandwich was very tasty and the burrito delicious too. Totally recommended it
