A charming stay! We had the most wonderful stay at Room Mate Alba! Located right in the center of Madrid and the staff went above and beyond to make our visit exceptional. Their warm and welcoming attitude truly made me feel at home. The rooms are not only comfortable but also incredibly cute and charming. The stylish decor and attention to detail added a unique touch to my stay. The breakfast spread was nothing short of delightful. From freshly baked pastries to a variety of delicious savory options. Thank you, Room Mate Alba, for a fantastic experience. We can't wait to return to Madrid and enjoy your outstanding hospitality once again!

We loved this hotel! Location 10/10. Can't think of a better location for tourists in Madrid. Staff 10/10. They were super friendly and helpful! Bed 10/10. Our room had a king sized bed with quality pillows, sheets etc. Great shower. Great water pressure and temperature range. Great breakfast. Breads, fruits, cereals, churros, Nutella, etc etc. I did not have the breakfast included, but paid extra once for it. Also, they serve breakfast until noon, which is great! Clean room with air conditioner (I visited it during summer).

What a wonderful stay! The staff was so kind and very helpful when we were in need. Special shout out to Marcos and Pedro as they were the most pleasant to us at the desk! This hotel is right in the middle of everything (shops, bars, restaurants etc) most things are all in walking distance. It’s very easy to request an Uber for further transportation if needed. No noise complaints at all. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone! Again, so very thankful for such a wonderful staff.

Amazing hotel! Stayed here for 5 nights while in Madrid and thoroughly enjoyed every second of it. It's a wonderful building, the rooms are fantastic and the staff are all very friendly! Really good soundproofing in the rooms - even with the location it was silent in the rooms. Great location too, it's a tremendous base for exploring Madrid and then having somewhere comfortable to relax when you need it. 5/5, would definitely stay here again!

A very nice hotel, excellent location. We had a great time and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The rooms were tidy, nicely decorated, and beds were big and comfortable. Very spacious bathrooms. Breakfast, wonderful and above average. Staff - very friendly and always there to help. Though we missed one small thing "facial tissues". We would love to go back .

Everything, absolutely everything about it was exaclty what i needed and wanted. The hotel is extremley clean and has a cool decoration. The beds are super comfortable and it's very quiet and nice. The staff was extremely helpful and nice. And Breakfast was soo good and very complete. I want to come back as soon as possible

Excellent hotel in service, room , breakfast and all. At milan'hotel, I Had small room but the space of hotel is very comfortable. Every day is changed hot foods , cakes , cooked and so appreciated shep and manager Feeling madrid and close to any where for travel in Madrid by walk. During my stay about 6 nights.

Had a nice stay there late last month. Central location and easy to walk to Plaza Mayor and other sights and also to trains at Atocha station. Front desk reception staff were great and very helpful. Room housekeeping can be a bit patchy in not replacing room supplies daily. Lots of local tapas type places to dine at locally but one night we got back from sightseeing late in the evening and after freshening up decided to just eat in the hotel bar. Bad choice. Very slow service (only one man serving) and he explained the tapas menu had all sold out (9pm) and all he could offer was a ham platter (which took ages to prepare) - and couldn’t even put together a cheese plate. We won’t bother to eat there again if we return.

Great location, really friendly service, quiet, clean and funky bedroom, and good food and wine - what more could you ask for? Having stayed in many hotels in Madrid this is definitely my favourite. I’m looking forward to coming back! Thanks for a great stay

Quickly booked this hotel after we had a nightmare Airbnb nearby and it completely saved our trip. Jose at the front desk is lovely and incredibly accommodating. He showed us our room before we checked in to ensure that we were happy with it and was a welcoming face every time we came into the hotel. The room was spacious, well decorated and clean with a nice balcony. AC worked very well during the extreme summer heat. Location is great -- lots of charming spots for food, coffee and shopping nearby. There were a few outdoor shopping markets on the street when we stayed. Overall, incredible experience and would 100% recommend a stay here.

I was hoping to find a smaller hotel with charm, comfortable rooms, and in a highly walkable location. Room Mate Alba is it! Amazing hotel and location! Comfy beds, clean and big bathrooms, and plugs in the bathroom with the voltage needed for my hair straightener! Docking a star as it would be nice if the hallways were brighter during the night - it was awfully dark and felt a little weird with the red/blue mood lighting. I would feel a little unsafe if I was just traveling as a solo female as I’d definitely prefer to see everything in the hallway for safety awareness.

Fantastic hotel. Set in a quiet backstreet and somewhat anonymous on the outside Room Mate Alba is lovely once you cross the threshold. Friendly staff, sharp decor….and it smells gorgeous (I’m at an age now where I appreciate a place that smells good). The rooms too are just right - good spacious bathrooms, powerful showers, big beds. Decent breakfast completes the offering. Highly recommended.

My husband and I stayed for one night as the starting off point for our three week first time trip to Spain. Room Mate Alba was the perfect start to our trip. Since we were there as part of our anniversary trip, the hotel staff upgraded us to the adorable attic room. The hotel is clean, charming, well decorated, and the bed was very comfortable. The tile decoration in the bathroom was beautiful, and as a woman with long hair who didn't bring a hair dryer...the hair dryer they had in the bathroom was perfect! The hotel was centrally located to walk wherever we needed. We did not have the breakfast, so I can't comment on that. All in all, a wonderful stay and we would absolutely stay there again if/when we go back to Madrid!

Clean and quiet hotel. It was also great that all the staff were very friendly. Everyone was always smiling and happy to help. Breakfast was such a treat! There were so many items to choose from and everything was delicious. Some items were changed daily. Location was great as well. We could walk everywhere, otherwise the train station was very close by. I found the room to be slightly dark even with all the lights on, but it was still a great stay overall.

Loved our stay at Room Mate Alba. The location can’t be beat (so many awesome bars, restos and beautiful Santa Ana square around the corner) and the rooms are very well maintained and appointed. Breakfast was OK, everything you could need. Probably would book the rate without it if we could (our room type didn’t offer that option) in the future to enjoy all the unique local cafes and bakeries which we did instead. The team were incredibly helpful, kind and welcoming. Honestly nothing to fault except the decor was a bit odd. The hotel is brand new but the drapes and some of the lobby and restaurant furniture look very outdated — though maybe this is done on purpose? They don’t really match the rooms… But again, no big deal, this hotel is still a gem!

Best hotel ever: very nice location in the center of Madrid. Very clean and beautifully furnished. Very comfortable bed. Very good service and breakfast. We will choose it again when we will come back to Madrid.

What a wonderful stay we had at Room Máté Alba Madrid! We stayed here for five nights - a group of 18 (!) family members in different ages and all said that it is a great hotel in a great location! Staff was extremely nice and helpful, rooms are clean, well maintained and in the right size for a city vacation. As mentioned above location is great, in the center near to main attractions, where you can feel the locals and have a lot of bars, restaurants and shopping around you -just perfect! Breakfast is really good with wide selection of dishes. And in the afternoon you can get a complimentary cava by the glass in the lobby area 😍 Highly recommend!

Loved this hotel! Staff is super friendly, rooms are big (I had a suite), and the location is the best! I stayed in multiple places throughout the city and Calle de Huertas is the best neighborhood. Plus, as a bonus, the have the best bartender in Madrid; Mario. Highly recommend!

We had a marvelous time staying at Room Mate Alba Hotel! Barbara, one of the front desk representatives, was phenomenal in every way; she was extremely kind and went above and beyond to make our visit more comfortable and easy. Mario, one of the bartenders, also deserves recognition for his hospitality, craftsmanship, and dedication to his guests. We would highly recommend the hotel for its beautiful facilities, unique style, prime location, and exceptional staff.

Fantastic stay, the hotel is really nice, rooms have a lovely decor and the most amazingly comfortable bed. Breakfast was very very good and you couldn't find a better location in Madrid, perfectly located in the centre of the city. I searched loads of hotels when booking our trip away but take my advice, save yourself time and just book this hotel, you will not be disappointed. Ps Madrid is a fantastic city to visit.

Great hotel in a great location for sights and access to metros. The room was exceptionally clean, the pillows and bed super comfortable, and the shower/bathroom was spacious and modern. The room had a very modern feel yet remained very cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast daily and bar area in the evening. A special thank you to Barbara at the front desk and Mario in the bar area for being especially friendly and welcoming!

Very clean hotel in the centre of Madrid. There is a fresh persisting amber musk fragrance on the floors. Friendly staff: we were welcomed by Carlos late, at about 00:30 and he explained everything and showed us what we could visit. The staff speaks a good English and is ready to help. Breakfast is generous and always with fresh products. The lady from the breakfast area is really special (talks multiple languages) and takes care about the clients needs. The hotel is a good option if you would like to visit the main attractions by walking. All around there are bars, restaurants and trendy boutiques.
