First order from Mr Chips. Only 10 minutes wait, so pretty quick. Collected the food, so was a little bit of surprise the place, as it wasn't a Chinese takeway. Looked like a Turkish grill or something like that. Paid £11,50 for the salt and pepper chips and ribs with curry sauce. They gave me a huge portion of chips, and ribs. The food looked delicious but the taste was far from the salt and pepper flavor. Tasted like bbq ribs with some chips. Wasn't spicy at all, couldn't find a piece of chilli in the food only some dried chilly flakes. Gravy was thick, orange colour and god knows what taste. Altogether wasn't terrible, but not something what I ordered and expected. Lot of members of staff behind the counter. Ah, it has been located on their website in Bootle, but actually I would say it is in Aintree. No car park in front of the business. Just once more, THIS IS NOT A CHIPPY or a Chinese takeaway.

There food is amazing, and been coming here for about 25yrs. Onion rings, and the special chow main are my favourites. I came a few times but it was closed with covid. Now things are back to normal, I can't wait to get back there.

Absolutely love this place I always order for when we have a birthday or family occasion or just when cant be bothered cooking of a weekend... I am never disappointed.. The delivery guys are super friendly staff are fab taking orders and the food speaks for its self always amazing and not stingy on the meat either an absolute a gem of a chippy. And just to add delivery is always super quick can't fault it x

The woman with the dark hair needs to sort out her attitude, got my order wrong despite me repeating it twice, then had a cob on slamming the stuff on the counter and mumbling to herself cos she had to redo it, discusting customer service

Chips are not that nice dark and hard nuggets are just ok also overpriced they should change the chip fat and serve fresh chips waist of money also the women behind the counter was rude won't be going back and neither will my friends.

This is probably the best chippy I have ever been to in my life! I’m 31 have been eating here since before I can remember! So has my daughter. The foods not just amazing it’s that memory every Saturday my cousin coming over and having Donner night! It’s Saturday now and I’m waiting for them to open so I can order our usual 🙈 when you are that consistently good you become embedded into your communities childhood memories and when they happily do the same with their children, it speaks volumes on their quality and service. I hope my daughter is doing a similar review when she is a mum ❤️

Simply Outstanding!…Ordered 2 Fish, Chip, Curry and peas and it was all superb. Especially the fish which had a lovely crispy batter covering the most beautifully cooked flakey fish. The meal was ordered @ 8pm Saturday 2nd Sept and arrived to our door by 8:15 and we got an apology for our wait!! …..Just 15minutes.(superb)….This is not our first outstanding meal from Mr Chips, we have also recently had equally outstanding Chinese meals that You just cannot finish due to the size of them. 👍

Zero food handling hygiene Will never come here again just watched a girl who clearly has a cold wiping her nose on her hand then handling a burger and a bun no gloves no tongs, disgusting. Left without ordering.

Been going here for years and we know that the cost of things are high these days, but £8.50 for a regular pizza which was actually an 8” pizza. Not good value for money.

Food is great but every time we go we get overcharged they make up prices differant every time always over pay £3 -£4 always check its a pity because its a good chippy

I ordered a small donna meat and chip instead I got a large one with the salad not fresh the meat wasn't even cooked plus they didn't listen to what I told them my partner asked to pay separately for an an order but the charged me £23.40 what a joke that's one place I will not be returning to

Lovely food great choice fairly priced. Clean with frendly helpful staff they do the best salt and pepper chicken wings and ribs. The fish is always big go on treat yourself.

Drove down from st Helens with 2 of my mates, hands down the most amazing fish n chips I have ever eaten, curry was pure brilliance, the fish was super light and fresh the batter wasn't too thick, I got salt n pepper chips with mine and they are fabulous, I would of happily drive here once a week for a good whole meal for the guys 😍 highly recommend

Didn't bring my order properly got made out to be a liar salt an pepper chips wasn't salt an pepper brought me them again still wasn't salt an pepper same for the chicken an missed one of them out on my order an gave me plain chips I didn't ask for.woman was rude on phone called me an my wife a liar cause one of the chicken wasn't in the bag to be told it was it gets checked by two members of staff...I would like to say to that woman if you do check it twice then I would get them eyes checked cause you wouldn't have got are order wrong in the first place if you did.also the food is nasty an over cooked

I absolutely love mr chips the quality of the chippy food was outstanding u can really Feel the bold feeling in your mouth the flavours shook my mind it was Devine and tasty . I would definitely be ordering here again Thankyou mr chips for my beautiful meal. A star quality service food is always hot fresh from the bag
