Food was nice, lots of local people so it means they serve good dishes on a regular basis. The staff was welcoming and the young waiter even took the time to throw little jokes. They have an interesting wine menu but they don’t seem to know it very well. Anyhow, we had a Western Cape red (ask for a little ice bucket so that the wine is a little cooler)

To be short, i didn't have the greatest of an experience there. My points are below: 1. They tend to forget about the dine in customers inside the restaurant. People on the terrace and take away were having food before us. 2. My mate and I waited 1 hour for our food. The food was not worth the wait. The fried chicken was 3/4 bone and the meat was overcooked and bland. 3 poor shrimps on rice. I was lucky there was no roasted duck else i think the meal would be really dry. Gotta give points to the meal(beef sizzling) my mate took as for him it was good. Overall good outside deco. Dont eat dine inside. Take away.

We noticed this restaurant when walking past the end of the road at night. We asked to look at a menu, the food looked fine but no drinks prices. When I asked for a drinks menu I was told there was none. We asked how much the beer and wine was, it was reasonable so took a table outside. The place was very busy, with takeaways as well as diners and it took some time before our order was taken. Because of this we ordered starters and mains, making it clear the one dish was a shared starter. The shared Marlin salad was good but we were only about half way through it when the main courses arrived. Szechuan fish was OK as was the crispy chicken veg and rice. Rice was charged extra with the fish. We decided to try again the next night, but this time we did not order the main course until we had finished the starter. We had delicious dumplings to start. For mains we shared three dishes:a squid dish, garlic greens and fried noodles with pork, prawn and egg. All very enjoyable although once again it was difficult to get attention for drinks. When the bill came we noticed that the wine was charged at 175 rupees instead of the 150 we had paid, after enquiring first, the previous night. I went to the counter and explained, the bill was immediately amended with no apology or explanation. I can only assume that they charge what they like or think they can get away with. Would recommend for the food but not the service and take care to check the drinks prices.

I had seafood noodles. The price is reasonable and the portion is generous. This restaurant is a good option, especially on Sunday that many of the restaurants are closed.

If you want to experience yummy chinese food in the surroundings of mahebourg, I highly recommend going to Saveurs de Shin. The service was quick given that the place was not crowded. The food was yum. I highly recommend the magic bowl and the mussels. Free parking space available as well. Give it a go! ☺️

The food is good and tasty, portions are big. Unfortunatelly we (and everyone else around us) waited too long for the food (both starters and main dish). Because of that the food was cold when it came to the table. Would recommend only if you have a lot of free time and if you are not very hungry.

Amazing food and relaxing setting. My family & I had lunch here and we left so full and satisfied. I had some of the best dumplings I’ve ever tried, and we ordered a number of noodle, meat, and seafood dishes—all of which were delicious. My only regret is that I didn’t come back again. Thank you!

*Hidden Gem! Nice place!* I really didn’t have any expectations with this place, was our first day in the Island and we didn’t know anything. We went for the proximity of the hotel and it was very nice! Only caveat was to wait for the dishes, but honestly the food was so good, I personally recommend the butter chicken. And in the end, it wasn’t very expensive. Good relation btw price/service/food Recommended!

You can't go wrong there. Straight to the point, fair quality and prices. Staff always friendly. Overall they deserve 5 stars for the constant level despite a very big and very Mauritian menu.

Loved the food! Must try spring rolls, noodles, barbecue chicken. My favourite was the mixed fruit juice - so fresh and so delicious! We didn’t have a reservation, but they gave us a table as we are tourists.

The culinary experience is alright. The plates are well presented, and for me personally the waiter we had was very attentive. I had ordered a reindeer steak and I had to send it back a couple times as the chef had made it extra rare and it was super tough. This I did not care for. However the others had more common Mauritian dishes which came out fine.

This was my favorite asian restaurant . Ate there today after 4years. The food quantity has considerably decreased in 4 years and the price has doubled. The taste is not the same anymore.There is much better elsewhere especially waitresses who speak with a warm and friendly tone rather than a cold and autoritative tone. Reservation is compulsory as well, so if you want to spend money and enjoy an evening with good food, apart from the Chinese soup which stayed true to it's taste, I recommend to try other places.

Friendly staff. Good food. Large portions and very tasty. We had the Bol Renverse, vegetarian fried rice with egg, and the large prawns in Szechuan sauce.

It's been more than 3years I am in Mauritius n staying in blue bay but never got a chance to visit there but finally, I went Der bcz of my fiancee n tried chicken egg fried rice, crispy chicken,sweet n sour chicken. I would recommend this place a must visit place if you are coming to Mauritius or u r already in Mauritius . *Price - normal *Ambience - good *Food - delicious

I was there for lunch in May 2019 with 3 guests. We had some appetizers Fried Wonton, Crispy Calamari and Stuffed Chili. We then had Pekin Duck and we ended with a special Cantonese fried rice (named there Cotomidor rice) accompanied with sizzling beef. We had colas with our meal. The bill amounted to MUR 2,145 around USD 65. Its a very good deal for 4 persons. Service was quick and the staff very polite. Worth a visit.

Rude welcoming! The owner (old lady), asked for vaccination card, while showing her on the Alhosn app (for UAE residents) , she rudely asked for it and insisted for a vaccination card , customer service skills sucks/inexistent. We left even after traveling a long distance for the food. I don't recommend.

Very nice food but a very long wait spoiled the experience. Every dish we ordered was fresh and well seasoned. Portions were generous and waitress who served us was very polite. But the restaurant takes a lot of takeaway orders and those who dine in are a bit neglected.

You say Chinese food in the east, Saveurs de Shin is one of the best place I can think of. However the consistency of dishes had lowered, compared to when I visited the place a few years back... Wide menu options, well prepared and cosy atmosphere.

Very disappointed as we were supposed to enjoy our meal but didn't even have finished the starters the main course came, when we said that we were not ready for main course the staff said that the kitchen is closing and left the food on the table... We ended up taking it to home as take away as it was getting cold and the two staff were giving attitude to my husband too and the owner was watching instead of stoping them she just got angry at my husband too as he voice out that this was not a good way to serve us as we are supposed to enjoy that moment and food.... We left and we didn't even eat that food home as we were very upset and its a very poor service.... I dont recommend you people to go there...
