The hotel room is typically standard like the other Novotel. It is clean, cozy, and just perfect to stay in for a business trip or holiday. The service is excellent from the front counter and I would have to give credit to Alicia who prepared an outstanding surprise for my girlfriend during her stay in this hotel. Fast response, helpful and creative type of person. This unexpected service has made me be wanting to stay in this hotel again for my next visit. Thank you for providing your excellent service and hope to be there again soon.

Unhappy with the smelly towels. Leaky pipe from the basin. And the worst thing is: non responsive staff to attend to the room problems!!! You guys really seriously need to retrain your people. Stayed 3 unhappy nights. Breakfast was good. Coffee also not bad.

Everything was good. Booked deluxe room for business trip. Quick check in process, fresh and modern room, there are Laptop table beside sofa. 👌 5 minutes after going to room, there was a man from housekeeping knocking, and handed over some snacks as complimentary. Sajadah provided 👌 Shower was amazing with hot water. High speed internet, and easy to connect. Breakfast was also good, standard 4 star, but they are not missing to provide espresso machine ⭐ Will stay here again if visiting Makassar

May be more complete convenience store on lobby will be better if we need anything. Need to improve on staff service quality, on breakfast restaurant and FO. Looks like not so keen and quick to serve many customers on the same times. Spirit of service needed to improve much

The minuses are : -No on line hotel directory, the website is too simple for hotels like Novotel ; -No portable remote control for Air Conditioner; -No smart room entertainment; -The gym not available at evening until night. The rest are Nice and Okay.

Bad experience with my room Liked · Good pool. Disliked · Dirty sheets, stained with hair. Toilet with traces of urine. Housekeeping team intervened but the smell of urine remained after cleaning. No hot water: just lukewarm. Wifi not fast. Waiting at the front desk and staff who didn't seem to realise the above points. Visited in July 2023.

Hotel has a good location in the central of Makasar City. Room are large and clean. Good comfy bed. Unfortunately lighting in the room wasnt bright, Some area to imrpove such as towel need to be change to a new one and need extra lighting especially near working table and sofa area. Housekeeping on turn down or cleaning time not thorough and detail. Shower gel finish not being replenish, toilet paper missing and glass/mug not clean after being used.

This hotel is a big wow!!! Maybe my best novotel experience ever 😍. The receptions are friendly, there is free flow water (but please check your jug before use. Ours was a bit dirty...) i am Victor a tourist from Europe i was in makassar for business and i chose novotel for my stay while in makassar a lot of good memories in novel. the service was very friendly, our request was quickly responded to by hotel staff, the room was very comfortable I was very impressed because before I came here my expectations were very low, it turns out that after I came here I was surprised by the service and hospitality which was very stunning especially the receptionist was very friendly.

the worst hotel i've ever stayed at! service was horrible, when i first entered the room, i was greeted with a horrible smell from the bathroom, turns out it was the drain, so they moved me to a different room, but i have to carry everything myself and they didnt offer to help (i already unpacked at this point) the second room has a horrible drainage system, so water would flood the bathroom if you take a longer shower. service was terrible, they tried to charged me for heating a food for my baby, twice at different days, have to refill my own water, they wont give me extra towel for my baby, they wont give me extra keycard bcs i left mine the room... housekeeping sometimes doesnt answer this is the worst hotel i've ever stayed at! turns out my friends who lived in makassar are also aware of this infamous hotel... you're way better off spending your money elsewhere

And hope this review will become a positive improvement for the Hotels Management. Maybe, my only concern, Accor Hotels specially Novotel, Sofitel, Pullman always have a great breakfast choice. But I dont see that yet in Novotel Makassar. Looking for beef beacon for breakfast is a problem in this hotel. I asked, but only offered smoked beef. For those whos not interested with Asian Breakfast, will might have concern on breakfast sides. Executive Lounge, also have schedule problem. Lumut dimana mana, tapi sepertinya tidak care untuk di bersihkan. Standar Accor yang tinggi itu sepertinya sudah hilang. Berencana nginap 3 malam sampai Senin, tapi sebaiknya cari hotel lain saja. Untung baru booking semalam doang.

Reception tried to charge the room rate twice. Restaurant had most options not on stock and served all locals before us. Took more then an hour for food and the drinks didn’t arrive at all.

Comfortable moderate hotel in Makassar City. Great service, tasty food but unfortunately there is broken pedal trash bin in the bathroom, otherwise it will be full stars.

We used one of the ballrooms for a MUN event, it was pretty decent. The place is spacy with good enough seminar equipments. There is also a little prayer room at the back, which is nice.

I booked on the phone the day before I check in for 2 Queens bed in one rooms for 4 people as we are one family, I and husband confirmed again and again before check in and paid for the room. As soon as we entry the room the only bed we got were 2 single bed which what so ever it does not fit us at all, the guy at the counter is soo dumb cant you see 4 people? How can 4 people fit with 2 single bed? And in the email confirmation we got it is said the room fit for 4 people. How could you cheat sooo much? They said because mistaken they heard twin bed not quenn? Is this a joke? On top of that for their mistake they want me to pay for extra bed for the room that they suggested wow? I hope you refund my $ or I am gonne come again in 3 days. Shame on you Novotel Makassar

Nice hotel, location in the middle of the city. The room is spacious. Breakfast is good. Only the reception staff are a bit "cold", not warm.

Made a reservation through accor website one month earlier with Novotel Space Adventure rate but none of the benefits honored. I even have to wait for 15 minutes for them to find my reservation. Room key handed to me with no explanation whatsoever. Room is modern, made a call to operator asking about the room type, it's a deluxe room them said but nothing screams deluxe. It's obviously a superior. Trash can's pedal in the bathroom is broken, you can injured yourself if you're not careful. Nothing special with the breakfast. The only pro this hotel has is its prime location. Seems everyone in this hotel, from front agents to restaurant staff is really hate their job. Four Points by Sheraton Makassar is a much better hotel by a long shot!

One of the best hotels located right at centre of Makassar. Only 500m away from Losari Beach. Great for those who are staying with family or those who are looking for culinary experience. 30 minutes away from Airport if using highway.

Has a very good hospitality, good room service and fast response, comfy bed, nice view too in the middle of the city, very good location, we can go anywhere with range, close to pelamonia hospital too, and close too Mall ratu indah, good food btw.

Stayed here for 3 days, had event at their ballroom. Everything was perfect Room was clean and neat, food was delicious and offered plenty of options. Staffs were all attentive and friendly. Worth every penny. Very recommended Hotel. Thank you Accor
