highly recommend! we were taking photographs outside the mansion when the guide came out and talked to us and shared that this was newly opened and that they were running a promotion along with the Pinang Peranakan Museum, rm 25 for both museums and so we went for both. our guide was extremely friendly and knowledgeable on the topics and was very happy to answer any questions we had, he also told us photo spots and kept offering to help us take photographs, even offering pose suggestions to get good shots, overall I'd say it's worth visiting! :)

Really lovely little mansion. Complimentary tour of the place was really great. Our Tour Guide Jack was very passionate and full of information, he was also very kind and considerate always offering to take photos of us and allowed us to carefully hold and touch some of the antiques. Highly recommend you visit this mansion and join a tour. You can also buy a combined ticket for this mansion and Pinang Peranakan Mansion. The latter is more Chinese architecture, whereas this is more local Malay architecture, with some European influence.

Interesting new private museum which just open in November 2022. The same owner as Pinang Peranakan Mansion, so 1 ticket you can visit both of the mansion. Worth taking a look now before their official launch before it become too crowded

I seldom write reviews but when I do, it is definitely that great! My tour guide (Alvin) and the museum manager is top notch. It has just newly opened due to post covid. Take the opportunity, to go there while it’s less crowded and admission fee is cheap.

One of the very rare that you see museums The Pinang Peranakan Mansion in George Town, Penang, Malaysia, that too so well kept. The art and decor will make your experience great. If you want to do something different in George Town, this is a must visit if it suits your taste. Thanks to the private tour conducted by Mr. Jack and his professional team.

The place itself is magnificent! Such a wonderful visit and it become more memorable because of Alvin. He was the staff on duty during our visit and we have a share of good laughs as he is so friendly and lively! He also helped to take wonderful photos. We can’t thank him enough for the wonderful experience! The place is truly lovely and there is also a vintage car park outside that will complete your photo collections. ❤️

A very beautifully decorated mansion with many displays of european influences into the local culture. Surely one of the places to visit as you explore the town. We were hosted by a very friendly guide (Mr. Koh) who took great pictures for us around the mansion.

Alvin was our friendly tour guide who spoke good English, Mandarin and the delightful Penang Hokkien that morning and he shared extensively and in detail on the various history, artefacts, decorative items and pieces that came into this mansion. An awesome tour round this amazing and beautiful mansion.

Very pretty mansion, not much historical value but incredibly well decorated. You can go to this museum for free if you've bought tickets to the pinang peranakan museum. Alvin, my guide, waz super nice and charismatic. He even arranges some of the flowers you see in the mansion himself!
