Horror.the worst experience of my life. non stop noise. mess everywhere. dirty floors. the bathroom is dirty, the shower is broken, the balcony door does not close. they don't have shower towels. and it is the first hotel where you are not given the key to the room even 5 minutes before check-in, you have to wait exactly until 3 pm to receive the key. I do not recommend to anyone. it doesn't even deserve a star.

Absolutely discussed with the staff, service, cleanliness and food. They cleaned our room once in 5 nights, only changed our towels once without being prompted. We had to keep going down to request them and we're left waiting for over 2 hours each time. They left us in stained sheets and refused to change them. The mini fridge had already been ravaged and the bathroom was absolutely discusting. The staff are incredibly rude and unhelpfull and the all inclusive was a joke. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. The pictures are not an accurate representation if this hotel. Photos to add later

We had an enjoyable 3 day stay at this recently renovated 3 star hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Food good. Excellent value for money. Would come back.

For a budget hotel this place is amazing - all inclusive option works wonders with unlimited drinks and food. If you fancy a night out there’s amazing restaurants and cocktail bars 10-15 walk (waddle with chafing). All the staff where incredibly helpful. Not much in the way of activities but the hotel itself was quiet and is a must if you want quick access to the beach, trains or busses. Transfer drop off/pick up is a wee 10 minute walk max to the hotel - for a quieter/better experience I’d probably recommend booking a pool view room

The hotel itself is very basic but exactly what I expected for 3 star in Spain. The location is decent enough with shops, bars & restaurants nearby and close to the beach. The pool area is very small for the size of the hotel with not enough beds for everyone. This wouldn’t be an issue with it being so close to the beach except that there are no sunbeds available on the beach. Not even for a fee. They’re really missing a trick here. The snack bar on the beach is also not what we were told it was. For all inclusive guests we were only able to get beer, water and soft drinks despite the AI menu showing a whole host of other items. We were told on arrival that we could get snacks at the beach bar and also in the main bar area at times that the restaurant was closed. This turned out to be untrue for the beach bar and all we saw in the main bar was left over pastries from breakfast and left over bread, meats & cheese from lunch and dinner that were left uncovered on the bar and looked very unappetising. I saw a few complaints before we came from guests about being dumped off in the middle of nowhere. This isn’t really the fault of the hotel but more to do with the transfer company sending a coach that’s too big to navigate the small streets. I’ve added a photo of the best walking route to take when you get dropped off. I also saw a few complaints about only being able to have 1 drink at a time and I don’t really see this as an issue because you only drink 1 at a time wherever you go. The food options are very samey and after a few days we were bored and ended up going out to eat. Our last day was jaded by the attitude of the reception staff. We asked the day before if we could have late checkout and we’re told to come back later to ask. When we went back later we were told to return the next morning. When we came back the following morning we were told that they were fully booked so couldn’t accommodate a late check out. This was untrue because they had rooms available on booking.com which I was more than prepared to pay for especially as I was feeling unwell and could’ve done without hanging around the hotel pool for 6 hours but they just didn’t want to help. This was possibly the worst part of the whole holiday. Knowing they could help but just didn’t want to.

I really don't understand such bad reviews. This is a cheap hotel that is worth every euro you pay. Where to begin? The location is the best in Malgrat. The hotel is located 20 meters from the main train station and a ten-minute walk from the bus station and line 603, which connects you directly to the airport in Barcelona. Also, Sagales line 603 takes you to all nearby places, you won't waste money on Taxis. The most important thing is of course the food, and in the All Inclusive offer of the hotel you will get more than you need. Every day a variety of dishes suitable for everyone, vegetarians and everyone else. The kitchen staff is the best you will ever experience. Mr. Jamil and his team will fulfill all your needs. Always cheerful, smiling and accommodating. Big greetings to all of them. I'm moving on to the Bar. First let me say what I didn't like. In the Al Inclusive offer you have 4 cocktails, Pina Colada, San Francisco, Sex on the Beach and Tequila Sunrise, but it doesn't look like a real cocktail or taste like a cocktail at all. It's a mix of alcohol and some syrup poured into a glass mostly with too little ice. PEOPLE, YOU SERVE COCKTAILS AND BEER IN SOME SMALL PLASTIC CUPS, I CAN'T FORGIVE YOU FOR THAT AND THAT'S WHY THE RATING IS LOWER. I understand that it's hard to manage to make so many cocktails, but then take them out of the All inclusive offer. A small plastic beer glass is a comedy. Why do we have blue Al Inclusive wristbands then? Now for the positives. People cry about tokens, I see absolutely no problem. Very practical, you give a token, you get a drink, you bring a glass and you get a new drink. When you're done, you return the glass and get the token back. People, grow up, don't cry over stupid things. All the bar staff are above all professional, very quick and ready to help. For a good mood there are Zori and Junior! Along with Jamil and the kitchen staff, they made this holiday unforgettable. Thank you for that and best regards. Espresso coffee is paid for, but it's worth it, they make a great Cortado! In any case, they do a great job even though they are constantly under stress because of the big crowd, and we tourists can be very hardworking too :). These people who write about loud noise are such a babies... There is no loud noise, what's more, it should be louder, we are on vacation. And those who write that it is dirty, I would report them to the police for defamation. That's a huge lie. Women clean every God's day and if you want, they will clean your room every day. You can get towels and toilet paper whenever you want. Thank them for their good work. To sum it up, this hotel deserves a much better review than the current one.

I have a few complaints to make in regard to our experience at this hotel. The first is that we were given two beds - (3 people), a double and a fold out bed (single), the fold out bed was broken and we complained to the reception - this was never fixed which meant one of us slept on a broken bed which was really really uncomfortable for 6 nights as nobody would fix it. They told us they would but nobody ever came. Secondly, when we arrived we were asked to pay €6 euros for tokens for drinks as a deposit which we would receive when leaving. When we checked out, the man working on the reception said that it had not been written onto the computer system we had paid - even though we had the tokens - I asked him how that would make sense as we paid and we had the tokens which we gave to him but he said it has not been entered onto the system at all. I am not happy as we paid the €6 euros and now we have not received this back and we were told it was a deposit that would be returned if we had the coins - which we did. The man on reception gave me an email for the hotel to contact them about this as the man who originally took the €6 was not there when we were checking out and he said we would need to email for the deposit back, however, nobody has responded to me. Thirdly, our transfer was late - we were told to come 15 minutes early and the transfer was nearly half an hour late which would not have been as bad however, it was thundering and raining and we got caught in horrid weather even though we the first stop which resulted in being unwell upon arriving home. I am really disheartened with these things as they really had a negative impact on the holiday - I also did not appreciate that when I was talking to the receptionist on the night shift when we were checking about the €6 deposit that he said ‘it is only €6 not 6 million’, which I thought was absolutely disgusting as it should not matter what amount of money you have given as a deposit and somebody should not be belittling you with inappropriate comments - we were told we would receive the €6 back at the end, and in order to have the drinks included with the package we had to give a deposit, so I do not understand how somebody did not put this on the system - it is stealing money from people staying, and on top of it, not responding to our requests for the basics to be in order such as the bed not being broken. I definitely would not return - location is great but will not be going back.

Ismael has dealt with myself and my friends from the very start of our arrival and in that short space of time he has been tremendously helpful and tried his best even when things were out of his control. He took the time to come to our room to solve our problems. He also recognised our ethnicity and religion and went that extra mile to accommodate and support us within our requirements and boundaries. A big credit to this hotel.

We haven't yet finalised our stay here. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The place has been done up since the older reviews. I heard it had a bad reputation so we were not expecting much but we were very wrong. Nice sea views and nice pool. Aircon is a life saver here. Only down point is the lifts are scary so I take the stairs. Which in reality is better as it's a good workout. 100% will come back

We didn't know what to expect when we visited this resort but I can honestly say it was the perfect break and we will be definitely be returning. If you want a relaxed beach holiday this is the place for you 2 minutes from hotel. The town is still very Spanish with lovely buildings and hidden squares.Dont expect rowdy bars and nightclubs ..there aren't any .plenty of shops to browse on an evening stroll . The hotel itself ,wonderful staff . Rooms are basic but it's only somewhere to put your head down . Food was great always plenty of choice. Overall lovely hotel and lovely place for a relaxed holiday

An excellent little hotel very clean. Tidy. The bar is not expensive either (I was half board) a pint of Amstel was €2.50)! Food is excellent good variety too I'd definitely stay here again

Food- food was pretty much the same every night chips, chicken, pork or fish. Fish was very bony and meats were rarely cooked all the way through. Food was also cold unless it was fried by the chef you would have to warm it up with the microwave. Also good here has made me and my family unwell terrible stomach ache and troubles in the bathroom. Staff- most of the staff were lovely and helpful where they could be but some were very rude and a few other family’s had noticed this especially from the older staff members. Pool- pool was freezing cold, too small for the facility and capacity of people there at the time. Sun didn’t reach any part of the pool u til 5pm by that time you’d only have a hour/two hours until the sun had started to go down. Was also sharing the pool with many of pigeons bathing and drinking the pool water. The hotel- the hotel it’s self was lovely very clean just what you’d expect from a 3 star really. The location- is good because is located next to the train station and local supermarkets outside but you have to travel so far to get anywhere or do anything Also especially at night brits were made to feel unsafe as drug dealers and beggars would circle the hotel at all hours of the day/night asking for cigarettes, money or trying to pressure you into taking drugs. Our friends had been attacked not even 2 minutes around the corner because they refused to give a local a cigarette. Considering the amount of police around here they don’t do anything about it or anything at all to protect us. Made me feel really unsafe would not recommend walking around on your own at night at all.

Good hotel, 3 star overall, but food i could give even 4 star. We had a deluxe room with sea view, big balcony. Only one downside the bed but otherwise we enjoyed our stay. Beach 2 minutes walking distance!

It's an average hotel, rooms are small but enough to be comfortable. Cleaning service was questionable at best. During a week stay the sheets were not changed even once. Affordable all inclusive option, food was abundant and edible, nothing to write home about. The hotel is located beside train station therefore if you are unfortunate enough to have a room with a sea view you will have to suffer the noise. All in all it was an ok stay, personally,I wouldn't go back there in the future, my wife loved it though.

  • 4/5 Jennifer W. 5 months ago on Google
Room was very clean and being located by the train station was very handy. However, there is not much to do in the immediate area and the only entertainment in the hotel is a DJ in the night. The pool does not get any sun due to the position but the kids still had fun. Staff very friendly also.

We have just stayed here for a 9 day all inclusive holiday. The rooms are basic but nice, cleaned daily and have smart tv’s equipped with Netflix, YouTube and Prime. The pool area is nice enough however does not get much sun as it is blocked by the high rise of the hotel itself. One area (space for about 10 beds) has sun on it from around noon until 5 ish but of course most people want to be in this space so it is first come first serve. The hotel has hundreds of rooms so I f you like to lay on a lounger in the sun every day this may not be the hotel for you. The pool is clean and spacious however never has any sun on it so is very cold. The restaurant is pleasant and although the food is quite samey it is up to a good standard and there’s lots of staples every mealtime, such as pizza and pasta. The beach is lovely and only a 5 minute walk from the hotel. You can rent sunbeds for €7 a day, or you can lay on the sand like we did. Not much to do in the way of activities in and around the hotel but if you’re just after a relax and are not bothered about sunbathing then this hotel would suit.

We have stayed at this hotel for 7 nights. We paid for a shuttle service that dropped us over a mile away from our hotel and we were told to walk the rest of the way with no directions. We found our hotel next to a busy train station with loud building work on going through out our stay. Our room was small but nicely decorated. However was only "cleaned" once through out our stay and that's because I asked for it to be cleaned. I hope you like cartoons because the disney channel is the only English channel. The balcony overlooking the beach was nice (if you ignore the train line and the homeless shelters made from blankets along side it). The people are rowdy and you must return your plastic beakers to the bar to get blue tokens back. No tokens, no drinks and you have to pay €2 each to replace them. The food is poor, our first night they were offering over cooked fish and pig trotters. The hotel does not cater for the amount of guests, not enough seating to eat, not enough seating in the evening. I have never had to sit on the steps outside a hotel to enjoy a machine poured cocktail until now. All all inclusive drinks are from a machine. The reception desk is less that helpful and the bar staff are not friendly, they were as happy to be there as we were. The saving grace for this place is the beach.. to get there all you need to do is take stairs under the railway that seems to also be a toilet, urine up the walls and very smelly. We will not be returning to this hotel. At least in Benidorm you know what to expect, imagine Benidorm - but worse.

We arrived at night and the receptionist Ismael was very kind and helpful. The room and the hotel looks very nice and new renovated. Would definitely come again :)

No air conditioning, not renovated from some time but Nice personnel, good location opposite to the train Station

The rooms are very old. A lot of noice during the evening due to poor isolation. You can hear whole conversations of your neighbors.. The hotel needs renovation and an upgrade of technology. The only pro is that it is close to the beach and station.

Very dated rooms, its clean enough and most staff are very nice, if you are lucky enough to get a good view from your room then congrats our room was above the pool so had constant noise. The food is ok to stay alive on, for English food it was pizza and fries or pizza and fries , we paid all inclusive but ended up eating out mainly. As it is in the residential part of Barcelona there isn't much to do I think we walked to the shops twice per day every day just to pass the time

Clean hotel with friendly staff. For 3 star this is a good hotel. The food buffet is nice with options. Rooms could do with air conditioning , but for the price cannot complain. Cleaners work very hard cleaning pool and rooms each day. The staff make this place.

We went in Sept 19.. had a great holiday. Lovely staff and friendly. . The cleaners were great especially the singing cleaner in every day...clean towels every day. Now the food was great. Good selection Always nice Always hot. Even near end of mealtimes the food still coming out. Only problem if I had to really think of something is the all inclusive bar too far away from any entertainment/dance floor ect.. but that's just nit picking. No idea why this is a 3 star... great value

This is a good hotel with delicious breakfasts and great service. It is next to the train station so the location is great for the travelers without the car. The beach is 60 meters from the main entrance so you can go straight to the beach. I think they are trying to reach a next star. I hope they get that as they deserve it so much :)

First time staying, really nice and helpful staff, Jamil, louay, and brahim were brilliant, really friendly, well worth staying, enjoyed the food, minor issue with the room, but soon rectified, would certainly stay again

Turned up today for a 14 night stay, and the place was closed! All boarded up, locals said it has been shut for a week now. On the plus side we found a Irish bar around the corner, they were so helpful. Helped with getting Internet access and a meal.
