This was probably the best part of my birthday trip. Me and my party literally took over the entire boat. lol We had a blast. The crew was so cool and down to earth. Jumping off the boat was my favorite part. I love swimming and it's just something about the water in Aruba that makes your body feel so good. This will definitely be another place I visit on my next trip to Aruba.

Took a catamaran cruise on the Mi Dushi to the Antilla Shipwreck site (one of three snorkeling stops). Just swimming along, checking out all the fish and turtles and then bam, a giant ship easily visible right underneath you. Highly recommend this excursion as they also serve an amazing lunch and drinks. Crew is super friendly and knowledgeable about the area.

This spot was quite impressive. From the ship I took, you could snorkel along the entire ship which is not that far from the surface. Although I was able to touch it, my ears popped so I would recommend ear plugs. Scuba diving is available at the spot as well. The water is so fantastic to swim in all over the island of Aruba.

Took the Palm Pleasure catamaran to the Antilla Shipwreck and definitely don’t forget the waterproof phone cover to catch a few images, mine are a little foggy but an awesome sight to see.

Never disappoints!!!! Bring your water camera and take home the beauty to remember later. We do the Jolly Pirate every year and we love it! Truly breathtaking views in the crystal clear water.

We went on a organized snorkeling adventure to the Antilla Shipwreck with "Pelican Adventures". It was a good trip out there and the crew was very fun to be around. They first brought us over the wreck so that you could snorkel in that area. The ship is big 398.3 ft (121.4 m) so you will not miss it and it is sitting at about 60 ft (18.2 m) in the water. But depending on the lighting will depend on how well you will see the boat. After about an hour we left that area and moved closer to the shore and more shallow water about 10-15 feet (3-4 m). A lot of little fish and my wife spotted a sea turtle.

Definitely one of the coolest places I’ve ever snorkeled! Great place for scuba as well. Saw lots and lots of marine life, beautiful shot of the turtle and got a picture of this cute jawfish:)

The while wreck is now underwater. The bow is about 16' deep and the stern is probably well over 60' deep now. We didn't encounter any strong currents or waves when we dove there and had a great time.

This was an adventure. The first stop at the shipwreck, the water was choppy and most of us had never been snorkeling before this trip. We filed off the boat but most people got right back on again. My son and I did muscle through and viewed the ship and marine life which was amazing. The next two stops were calmer waters and great for seeing the marine life. They served a lunch of salad, rice and chicken. Drinks started at departure and continued throughout the trip. I know it was just a day of work for the crew but for us it was spectacular. We really had a great time and would recommend this adventure.

Interesting, we snorkled it. Unfortunately water was a bit rough so we didn't stay long. Still fairly clear and could see the ship though, but might want scuba gear if you really want to explore this. Liked snorkeling close to shore a little better as it was calmer and saw more fish but this was neat too.

It was a great adventure make sure you wear sunscreen. The captain & crew were beyond friendly eye candy & the drinks we had were HEAVY on the liquor.

I done the jolly pirate and it was terrible, I will never do it again, Julio was very rude and he ask to give him tip, this is a disgusting behavior, he receive salary for his work and if he not want to work he should stay at home. Julio think he give instructions to the tourist to give tip, he was horrible and than asking for tip.

Really cool place for snorkeling (and I assume SCUBA). We did a snorkeling tour and this was one of the stops. Could see most of the wreck from the surface with lots of fish swimming all around it.

A great snorkeling stop! This was a stop on our snorkeling tour and we loved it! There is a strong current as others have mentioned, but with the life vest and flippers on we had no trouble at all! The shipwreck was large and incredible! Tons of fish and even a sea turtle!

What a great dive! My son and myself had the best experience with our dive and seen amazing stuff.

Nice shallow dive perfect for pretty much all experience levels, we had no current which made it an even better dive for looking at some of the macro life, this anemone had a couple of shrimps you can barely make out in the picture and the sand bed had tons of life, including some very cool Jaw-fish, seen poking his yellow head in one of the pictures.

Very cool shipwreck with an interesting history. Lots of swim-thru's for every level of diver, lots of gorgeous soft coral growth, and a few resident turtles to make even the snorkelers happy. Don't miss this wreck!

This is always crazy and fun to see on the snorkeling tour. The history of it was interesting as well. The caption had the crew sink the ship to avoid the ship getting captured. Great scuba/snorling location

This was one of the stops on our catamaran snorkeling trips. They served us breakfast and lunch on the catamaran. After this stop they took us to two more snorkeling stops excellent trip

Easy to snorkel this wreck, with schools of fish everywhere. Divers can get to the bottom at about 60 feet. The highest part is only ten feet with plenty to see at around 20 to 30 feet deep. Very clear water.

Interesting history and beautiful place to do snorkeling. The water is cold in the morning but you have enough time to enjoy the variety of fish at the ship.

  • 5/5 Kati D. 1 year ago on Google
So gorgeous! I would recommend scuba diving over snorkeling so you can get closer to the wreck, but even snorkeling, it was awesome! I also went with a catamaran tour boat so we didn’t have to wait or anything.

OMG, you can actually see the shipwreck at the bottom of the ocean. It was an awesome trip.

We visited with the morning cruise of the Jolly Pirates, which includes lunch. The Antilla was our first stop. It was cool to see this wreck way below us. There were some scuba divers down at the wreck and a fair number of larger fish than at the shallower moorings we stopped at. We had a blast and can enthusiastically recommend.

I was able to visit this shipwreck as one of three stops on a snorkeling catamaran cruise. It's about 60 feet down, so from a snorkeling viewpoint, it's a bit hazy. We saw a few varieties of tropical fish near the site. I think for this site, scuba diving would be a better way to explore it. From what I could see as a snorkeler, it was OK.

this is like my favorite place on the planet. best scuba diving. The wreck is so huge and if you can dive, you should do that instead of snorkeling. the water is calm and I saw like six turtles. awesome would give six stars if I could

My favorite thing to do in Aruba! Awesome experience. Absolutely stunning and the crystal clear water adds to the experience. It can be done with a private charter through one of the hotels or as a group outing on one of the large boats. Just depends on what you are looking for.

  • 3/5 Mary W. 1 year ago on Google
Our excursion was the sail and snorkel one out of Aruba. The boat was great, fun crew, but the snorkeling was mediocre. First stop was nice and calm and clear water, but the actual shipwreck was anticlimactic. Wind had picked up, water was not real clear, couldn't really see much of the sunken ship. Friends went snorkeling in Curacao the next day and said there were lots more fish to see and amazing clear water.

  • 5/5 Mandy M. 4 years ago on Google
Super cool! The ship is in shallow water and easy to see while snorkeling. Lots fish and still worth doing even with overcast weather.

You should be a strong swimmer to get in the water here. I have gone twice and both times there was a heavy current. But it is cool to see tue ship and the critters around it.

Top level experience ☀️. Be safe if you are scared of deep water. It's not too deep but the shipwreck itself brings an eerie vibe to it. Cheers!!. 😎

Lots of boats at the site, however, it is a large snorkeling area. We could not see the boat at all on the day we went out. Too dark and murky. Our tour boat captain told us we had 15 minutes to snorkel the area. WHAT? He told us that because he knew we couldn't see anything. Would be interesting to see on a nicer day. Currents are very strong in this area. If you are a beginner snorkeler, where a life jacket.

You don't go to Aruba to see the two or three places they take everyone to dive or snorkle. This is one every boat goes to. It's okay, but it's not much as far as dive spots go.

  • 5/5 Kris M. 4 years ago on Google
The ship looks massive, you can see it when snorkeling and if you're a good diver you can touch it. But it would be even more fun to go with an oxygen tank.

(Translated by Google) We went aboard with jolly pirates. Easy step up and kept tidy. There are 3 locations where you stop and you can dive at 2. In general, the first stop was allowed to take a little longer, this is because the ship was wrecked and was rather short since there was quite a lot to see (+ -25 minutes). And the last stop gave you the chance to jump into the water with a winch, just like the movie pirates of the Caribbean. The staff was very friendly. There was enough drink but don't expect a high spectacle. Food was not present here also for smokers it is forbidden to smoke. For the rest, a nice experience, very relaxed and well worth the money!

Dove the wreck this time. It's neat to see it up close but from a visual tourist stop it's almost as good just to snorkel it.

  • 5/5 a j. 4 years ago on Google
Huge wreck fun to look at but a bit busy with lots of boats and snorklers . I about got run over by a boat arriving while I was looking down.
