Really enjoyed my stay here, the staff were outstanding and hospitable, the bar next to the lobby had a welcoming, cozy feel, wonderful menu and lovely rooms. I'm not sure about some of the complaints on the size, it seemed average to me, but it was very clean which is high on my importance list, as was the rest of the hotel. This hotel is away from the city bustle a bit, but a lot of trees around the property make it very relaxing and a pleasure to escape the traffic. My only feedback is the vegan sausage in the morning was freezer burned and a little bland, they can be tossed in oil & seasoning to add flavor, but fresh/defrosted is best. My veg pizza was wonderful, so was the veg burger. Great buffet in morning. Outstanding staff professionalism in housekeeping and lobby.

Walls are paper thin. Very dated. My bed was shaking from what I can only presume were hippopotamus' creating life in the room next door for a solid 3 mins (good fun was had by all as I could hear they're conversation in full afterwards) . My. Bed. Was. Literally. Shaking! Very noisy from people just walking around upstairs too. Wouldn't reccomend unless you are into knowing intimate details about strangers passionate hugging.

I am disappointedl in the room I am disabled in a wheelchair my man had a heart condition had to lift me in the bed because it was far to high so this lets the place down I was looking at the bed can be fixed very early space under the bed bring it right down to the ground no problems at all very easy to do room 2:I hope you like the feed back staff great. They go out the way to help the lady that deals with the food great to talk to could talk to her all day my family stay down here I be there a lot more if this room bed was lower down Sorry for the rant But more places should be sorted for wheelchair people beds to high

Rooms reasonable for approx £60-70pn. You have to pay for parking (Another 4quid pn) but there is plenty of free parking nearby. Positives - Comfy bed and sheets. Flat screen tv that will support USB sticks with films on. Brilliant staff and friendly customer service who are more than willing to help. Reasonably priced bar for beer Negatives - Limited power points in room 1 free. No power points or phone charging points at the bedside. Some nights where expensive for what you got. Door closers need some attention as there can be a lot of banging from the doors.

I booked for 15 days but I was treated very badly by the staff. I asked them many times to change the sheets and pillows but they refused although they promised. When I asked the person in charge why had not you got the stuff changed, he simply said we were busy. He kept promising every day but doing nothing. He was very rude and disgusting. How can I complain to the manager guys?!

Walls were paper thin. Hallways stunk of weed, cracks and marks on walls and shelfs. Toilets stunk of bleach and poo. No lifts and no sercurity near rooms. There was mould in the bath tub. lights flickering tv had a line through the screen. Everyone on the floor was loud at all hours. Reception is unstaffed most of the time. Rooms were tiny and didn't have air conditioning and was very cold.

Great service! There's good value for the price of the rooms, the location is good and staff members are lovely. Sarah was excellent and a very patient receptionist when I needed help.

I recently stayed at this hotel for business. The room was rather gloomy with a single light bulb at the door for the entire room. Speaking of single things, plugs. There was only one usable plug in the entire room and it wasn’t near the bed so listening to my podcast and charging my phone was annoying. The bathroom had a smell of silicon and bleach, but was otherwise alright. The parking is a real ache, the parking machine doesn’t take amex and doesn’t accept coins either. Had to borrow someone’s Mastercard to pay for parking

Stayed here due to its location. Near the venue we were attending. Kath on reception is very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast too.

I had stayed here previously when taking part in the Manchester Marathon and found it cheap and cheerful. Now it's neither. I thought that the price for the rooms was quite high but as previous visits were fine I booked anyway but now I feel like I was completely ripped off. The rooms were barely okay and the breakfast was terrible. The staff were overwhelmed by two tables of 4 people. Asking for basics such as milk were met with "you shouldn't have come down early". It was one minute to seven when we arrived and the milk was 20 minutes later. The poor fruit looked like it had spent a week in Death Valley. We rationed the hash browns, only one per person and one half ladle of beans, it was enough until supplies reached us about half an hour later. There was no apple in the apple juice. The coffee however was very good which unfortunately meant that I was hyper aware of how poor everything was.

Promised the lovely lady in reception that I’d leave a review in exchange for her letting us into our room ten minutes early (12pm check-in). We were in Manchester for a concert at the Etihad. The location suited us as it was a five minute Uber ride (didn’t fancy walking in 29 degree heat). If you do decide to walk, it’s probably a good 25 minutes away. Room was basic and clean but unbelievably hot although Manchester was experiencing a sudden heatwave so not their fault. There was an air conditioning unit in the room but we couldn’t figure out how to use it. Plenty of car parking spaces when we arrived which you pre-pay for before you check in. Would use the Travelodge again and recommend. Staff were friendly.

After a 3 hour drive, turned up and had to pay £4 parking( unless you Google, you'll not know) ....rooms are clean and tidy, location not good as I found when the menu was limited because of ingredient problems and found that you had to walk 15-20 mins to a takeaway(unless you order on just eat) ....but I can't fault the 2, only 2 girls that were on duty for the help they provided for my stay but it's a sad site seeing 1 of them ironing bedding behind reception area because others don't/won't do it ...thank you ladies, hats off to yous

Pay £4 per day for parking, 30min free WiFi over that you have to pay for it, no USB port in room, restaurant closed, 1 girl covering reception, bar and food. Expected Basil Fawlty to appear with Manuel.

Not really a lot to do nearby if you're waiting for a plane the next morning. Has a bathroom and a TV and you may even get to hear your neighbours going at it til 3am like I did. You get what you pay for I guess. The all you can eat breakfast and the staff were amazing though.

Place is a bit dated. However the room was clean and the staff were excellent. Parking isn't free but it's cheap. Easiest way to pay for parking is to enter your reg and use contact less card. Breakfast was £8.99

Good enough location takes about 10 minutes to get in to Manchester City. The rooms are very tiny barely enough space to move around. The parking is also paid and not free. The staff is polite and friendly. If you have noisy neighbours it might get difficult to get a good sleep. There is a bar and restaurant inside the hotel.

Stayed here Saturday 11th December so we could attend the wsl Derby game at the etihad.20 minute walk to etihad stadium, rooms are quite basic and a little dated but who cares,it's a budget price.after a tiring day we decided to eat at the hotel and weren't disappointed, very nice and good value, the lounge is very comfortable to sit and have a drink.plenty of parking ,the breakfast was very good too.the best thing about this hotel are the wonderful staff, all very jolly and helpful and all lovely to talk too,we will certainly return when we next visit Manchester.

Overall it was good experience, just need to change carpet, & in washroom need to provide 2 big towels when 2 person staying in room, & not sound proof. Otherwise it was cleaned, bedding perfect, washroom cleaned too.i give 3.5 star.

More things wrong than you can shake a stick at. The staff though try to remain friendly and upbeat. But there is nothing that can disguise the issues Travelodge have.

Great service by Daniel and Jonathon! Gave us unlimited tea and coffee, and held our bags for us before check in. Location is good- 5 min drive from the centre and good rooms too.

Only good thing was the comfy bed. There was mould growing on the ceiling in our room. Rough enough area. Would hesitate to stay here again as staff were okay (1 nice dude with Glasses who held our luggage). The other ones were awful & downright rude with a smelly attitude.

Only achieved 1 star as I can't give any less. Recieved a phone call at 9.50pm at night to say our room was no longer available. 10 mins before I was due to arrive. We were told there had been a leak in the room. I was denied access to witness the leak in the room. We were then transferred to another hotel in the city centre, therefore a lot noisier, resulting in a poor night sleep. The amcoats Hotel also had lifts which had been urinated in. Not ideal for a 10 year old to have to see. When I asked for a contact number to speak to a manager I was told this doesn't exist. I find this highly unacceptable unacceptable.

Room had sweets and chocolate on the floor but other than that no issues with the visit. Small hotel with a low amount of staff working at any time but was no wait at the bar or reception. Food was nice and breakfast was great.

I stay at Travelodge's quite frequently due to business, and this has to be the worst one yet. The walls are super thin, I could hear the alarm at 6am from the other room, and since it was an iPhone alarm, I thought it was my own! (Which I set for 9am). I could hear conversations in the night too. I could hardly sleep. On the plus side, the beds are comfy and everything was clean.

You get what you pay for in this place, so set your expectations up accordingly. The rooms a bit small, but was clean. And staff were very friendly and helpful, not that I had any issues, but when I needed a hair dryer, iron or extra tea/milk/cups etc they were always very nice. My only issue was that there are limited power socket. 3 in total 1 used for the TV 1 used for the electrical heater 1 spare, so i'd pack an extension lead which is something I usually do, just not on this occasion. There's also no AC. But at the time we went this wasn't an issue.

A great location if you’re staying in Manchester and need a Bed n shower and don’t want to be too far from the centre. Good value for money. Easy location for Ubers and Taxis too. As always the usual standard of rooms for Travelodge. Don’t expect the Hilton, or Ritz or even Premier Inn. These are Travelodge standards. On arrival I didn’t (sadly) feel very welcome by the lady on the desk. The room was fine, not cleaned to perfection but fine. The shower pressure is not that great. There was no shower gel - it’s a good job I took my own - the Bath is small so don’t expect a soak. Ultimately, which is why your staying, the bed and the sleep were great. 💫 Breakfast is all you can eat. The Tea and Hot Chocolate are great. The Breakfast is decent. Couldn’t complain (especially for the price). Phil and Jonathan were superb, great at their job, make you feel welcome and couldn’t do enough for you. Thank you for our stay.
