I yesterday had the misfortune of attending a wedding party at this hotel, a situation that, unfortunately, turned from a joyful celebration into an unsettling experience due to the behavior of the hotel staff. Firstly, the ambience of the hotel's garden setting deserve recognition. The garden was well manicured and provided a charming backdrop for the wedding, seemingly perfect for such joyful occasions. However, this positive aspect was entirely overshadowed by the abrupt, ill-mannered interaction that transpired with the deputy manager and his assistant. As guests of the wedding, we had parked our cars in a public area near the hotel. We were being respectful to the neighborhood and maintaining quietness, but we were accosted by the deputy manager, who claimed we were causing a disturbance. This encounter was not only unprovoked but his demeanour was incredibly confrontational and abrasive. Further escalating the situation, the deputy manager began to photograph our cars, an invasion of our privacy, and entirely uncalled for. His assistant, not far behind in his lack of professionalism, threatened to call the police, making us feel unfairly targeted and uncomfortable. What was particularly disconcerting was the complete disregard for us as their guests. Hospitality should be at the forefront of any hotel's mission, but at this hotel, it was sorely lacking. The hotel staff not only used impolite language but also threatened legal action against us, demonstrating an egregious lack of respect and tact. Considering we were in a public place and were not causing any disturbance, this confrontation and subsequent threats were both unnecessary and unacceptable. The actions of the hotel's deputy manager and his assistant were not only unwelcoming but also highly damaging to the reputation of the hotel. They disrupted an otherwise pleasant wedding, casting a shadow over the event that will not soon be forgotten. In conclusion, while the aesthetics of the hotel and its gardens are commendable, the overall experience was significantly marred by the unprofessional, disrespectful behavior of the deputy manager and his assistant. If you are considering hosting or attending an event at this hotel, be aware of the potential for unwarranted confrontations with staff members. I would advise potential guests and event organizers to reconsider their choices before selecting this hotel for their functions, given the lack of hospitality and respect exhibited by the management.

This week, I had the opportunity to host my wedding at this hotel, a venue which captivated us primarily for its beautiful garden. The lush greenery, picturesque landscaping, and tranquil ambiance gave a promising first impression. However, the reality was quite a stark contrast, revealing numerous issues that spoiled what could have been a perfect day. A commendable aspect was the event manager, Jess, who welcomed us with warmth and demonstrated a high level of cooperation throughout the process. She was a beacon of light in an otherwise cloudy experience, helping to mitigate the disappointment we faced. Despite our detailed agreement with the hotel management regarding the wedding day's details, the hotel did not uphold their promise to allow us to raise the speaker's volume. This was a significant letdown as it put a damper on the festivities and the overall atmosphere. The situation further escalated due to an unexpected and unnotified work of cutting trees in the neighboring garden, which created a cacophony of noise disrupting our ceremony. Not only was the sound distressing, but the falling leaves found their way into our dinner, compromising the food and upsetting our guests. The hotel's failure to inform us of this happening in advance or intervene with the work manager next door was grossly unprofessional. To add to the frustration, my guests were subjected to rude treatment by the hotel's deputy manager and some other administrators. Even though our guests had parked their cars quietly and legally on the street in front of the hotel, they were impolitely asked to move them. This showed a blatant disregard for basic courtesy and respect for guests attending an event at the hotel. While the garden setting of the hotel initially enticed us, the disregard for our agreement, the lack of notification about potential disturbances, and the disrespectful treatment of our guests have left a bitter taste. It is disheartening to think back on a day that should have been filled with joy and instead remember the numerous obstacles we encountered. In conclusion, while the beauty of the garden is undeniable, and the event manager, Jess, was truly helpful, the overall experience was largely disappointing. A hotel offering event services should ensure every detail is executed seamlessly, providing a hospitable and welcoming environment. This was, unfortunately, not our experience. I hope our experience is taken as constructive feedback for the hotel to improve its service in the future.

This is an amazing hotel and perfect for my stay. I had an operation in the spire Manchester with Professor Sheen, amazing surgeon if anyone want one. Well my stay at eleven was amazing, Johnathan was spot on and were all the other staff, they looked after me so well I’m very grateful. It’s auch a nice quiet hotel and has a good array of parks nearby. The food was great and service to go with. What a little gem. Some people say the rooms are hot and yes they are but it’s simple to turn the radiator off just like you would at home. Better warm than cold anyway. Besides you can open the windows easy enough and let’s face it it is winter after all. Thank you guys is was a pleasure from the moment I checked in till I left. Will be back for sure anytime I’m up in Manchester. Worth every penny as opposed to a travel lodge...... cheers

I went here for a function, so can't comment on rooms etc, but clean and well maintained hotel with good service, food and drinks, and close to the centre of Didsbury.

I had such a great time. The staff helped with anything I needed. Everything was clean and just what I needed. As a solo female traveler I felt very safe. I would highly recommend for anyone visiting the area of Manchester. Super close to the metro line if you need to catch a concert in the center.

We stayed over the weekend after our daughter was married at the venue. The hotel is very lovely and the rooms are furnished to a high standard. The staff were very helpful and the food for both the day and night celebrations was absolutely delicious. My only observation is that the drinks are extremely expensive, it didnt bother us but maybe something to take into consideration. Other than that we had a wonderful day, the ceremony took place in the garden in the sunshine which was lovely. She had the perfect day and I couldn't be more pleased with the way everything went.

Lovely hotel and nice rooms, but breakfast was a nightmare. 2 staff with one a trainee. I know you have to start somewhere but common sense and the ability to remember what u were doing 1 minute previously are not trainable. Nothing wrong with the food but no toast despite ordering it, dirty tables.and guests clearing space, drinks ordered and never arrived. Not good for the money I'm afraid

My stay at Eleven Didsbury Park attending a wedding yesterday was out of this world. A brand new experience in a wedding package. My room was spacious and airy. The mattress was the best ever.So comfortable. All the staff were pleasant and willing to help for any need. There were lots of quirky areas. The food was top notch. Breakfast was more than adequate. Would love to stay again.

Beautiful little find!! Would definitely recommend 110%. I arrived late in the evening and the lady on reception was very welcoming. The breakfast in the morning to the room was delicious - salmon, eggs, fresh fruit, coffee, juice. The living room area and conservatory is also very peaceful, perfect for doing work in the morning/during the day. Hope to be back again soon.

My parents, bridesmaids and I stayed here the night before my wedding (which was down the road at their sister hotel Didsbury House Hotel). We loved the rooms, particularly the beautiful Veranda suite which had a large, bright lounge that was the perfect place for us to get our hair and makeup done for the wedding. The shower was great and the bed was really comfortable too. The staff were all very friendly and helped my family to move their bags across to the other hotel on the wedding day. The breakfast was delicious. I'd definitely recommend the hotel and would happily stay again!

I had some family staying at the hotel over the Christmas period from Ireland and it was superb. The rooms were superbly designed and furnished. The breakfast was lovely and everything so fresh. The staff were very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to assist wherever they could. When I have guests over again I will certainly be using you again.
