Previously called Gokizip, now this restaurant is named Samgyupkana perhaps to promote their unlimited samgyupsal, or Korean BBQ. But I love their Shabu Shabu more! For only 599 per head, minimum of 2pax. Only downside is that their staff are not well-trained, it takes a very long while before they serve what you ask for.

Amazing food, extremely friendly and awesome staff. Great value for money. The guy who served us was more than helpful, and very consistent not with just us, but any other tables he was looking after. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Food is so-so. Slow on service. Doesn’t take card payments nor gcash despite the crowd being employees and big groups. Doesn’t seem to have an SOP. Guard doubles as a hostess to greet the customers. Servers/staff is not smooth - everything is out of plce and will deliberately skip an eye contact. Parking is difficult too. 2 stars because of the ease of booking a table and the guard and the KTV upstairs but even there - service is horrible. Both understaff and undertrained. Visited 19th Dec, 6pax.

We went here so many times before, though now the food has changed, most of the beef meat has a ton of fats now, and they served us cabbage rather than lettuce, and the taste of their other side dishes has changed as well, and their options on it became less, additioanlly, their cheese just tasted like butter than an actual cheese unlike before. The services are still good, all the servers were very friendly.

I went here last when this place is previously named Go Kizip. Didn't really like it even though the food was good enough because it was really dirty and greasy. (sometimes with pests crawling)... Now renamed. The place is somewhat cleaner with still ok food, but what really bugs me with these kinds of places is the employees. Yes they are nice enough and service is good BUT in these days (pandemic times) cleanliness and germ-free environment is a must. Most or rather all of the employees have masks but not wearing them properly. They have it on their faces but not wearing it to cover their mouths and noses (how it should be properly worn). It's like pretending to have masks or being sanitary but just for show. Other employees are just lax, walking around. I just don't like employees who have no true purposes in the dining area acting like customers, laughing and hanging out with other employees who also have nothing to do. It just seems so unprofessional and to my eyes they are clutter in the dining experience. I think the problem is the staff is not properly trained by the establishment with proper sanitation. Even though food is good enough and service is not bad, don't expect high sanitary standards or highly trained staff here. Btw, after i finished eating and hanging out, just saw a cockroach crawl beside our table. So, they are still here and coming out even on dining hours.

If you find authentic Korean food, this unlimited Korean bbq is the best in Malate Manila. ( Oh, I read some negative reviews here, but most are not real accounts.) if you want to see the truth, guys, visit this Korean restaurant. It's clean and delicious food. 100%πŸ‘Œ

Rating our experience in samgyupkana - Malate Branch We ate there last August 8 2022 and the service was awful. The iced tea served to us had a cockroach in it. We told the waiter regarding it and they only apologized. Giving us multiple excuses saying that "Kakapest control lang po kasi kaya may ipis" .The receipt punched only had 2 quantities (we were 3) so we expected that our friend who had a cockroach on her drink will not pay her share but before we even got out they stopped us and asked her to pay for her meal despite the cockroach. We did not complain anymore and simply just paid for it to avoid dispute. We wanted a full payment refund but that didn't happend. We do not recommend this place! very dirty and unconsiderate.

If you want to cook own your food over a hot stove, or get hot grease splashed on your arm while you watch, and sweat the whole time because the air conditioner is set too hot, and breathe in the smoke of other people cooking their meals, and then pay in cash because they don't take credit cards (even though their check holder says "VISA" on it), then this is the place for you. But, it's not for me. If I hadn't been with friends, I would have walked out as soon as they turned on the stove in the middle of the table.

One of the only places in Metro Manila where you can get your midnight Samgyup cravings fixed. The people who served us were more than accommodating and even offered to cook some of the meat for us as there were a type of meat that can be cooked in a special better way. This is now my go-to place for midnight dining even if it's smack dab in the middle of the "red light" district of Malate.

We haven’t been able to dine in due to countless cockroaches sightings in the said restaurant. The staff said it was due to β€œpest control” but as soon as we were seated to a different table, a small cockroach came out of the MENU BOOK. lost our appetite and went out immediately.

Right next to the massage place I went to after arriving in the Philippines. Thai Anma Spa. It's owner is the same as the restaurant. They massage was excellent and the food was delicious as well. My Filipina wife loves Korean barbeque so it worked out well for us after a long flight. Traveling to Malate can take a bit of time from the airport but totally worth it if you ask me.

Food wasn't great at all. Ordered woosamgyup(beef belly), literally gave us a plate of muscles and tendons. It was so chewy, you could barely ingest it even if it wasn't well done. Sides : horrible, they couldn't even give us real gochujang for sauces. It was thinned out with banana ketchup and sugar. 😩 In what KBbq serves macaroni salad as banchan. Would not recommend. There are other K-bbqs around that are 24hrs and are worth the value of your money.

πŸ‘ Excellent Food The food is very promising, from outside, it looked like an ordinary place as they do not really invest in renovation or repair.
